The following Telegraph article provides subliminal justification for readers to blame Russia if a nuclear device does explode in Ukraine. Moreover, it also pointedly ignores Moscow’s allegations that Kiev is preparing for just such a scenario.
That’s because many of those news outlets that do report Moscow’s claims are now being systematically banned or blocked in the West.
Instead, Western readers are being exposed to disinformation disseminated by the MSM, which increasingly acts as a propaganda organ for Western governments. Ed.

The United States has said it is “increasingly concerned” after it emerged senior Russian military officials discussed when and how to use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine.
US intelligence monitored the conversations, which did not involve Vladimir Putin but caused unease in Washington in the wake of aggressive nuclear rhetoric from the Russian president.
John Kirby, the White House national security spokesman, said there was “no indication” the Russian president had decided to use a nuclear weapon – but warned: “We may not pick up every single indicator.”
He added: “We have grown increasingly concerned about the potential as these months have gone on. It’s increasingly unsettling in terms of the degree to which he feels he has to stretch to prosecute this war.”
It came as Dmitry Medvedev, the senior security council official and former Russian president, said Ukraine’s objective to reclaim all its Russian-occupied territories – including the Donbas region and Crimea – would be a “threat to the existence of our state”.
Mr Medvedev said that would be a “direct reason” to invoke Russia’s nuclear deterrence.
The Russian foreign ministry also claimed the world was teetering on the brink of nuclear conflict and accused the West of provocation that could lead to “catastrophic consequences”.

This Telegraph article is of the typical propaganda-lie sort. It does not even try to be convincing, e.g. by undermining the Russian statement to the UN about Russia’s information concerning the Ukraine’s ambition to build a dirty bomb. The Telegraph knows it does not have to make a reasoned statement to its readership. All it need do is to add to the already very loud background noise: ‘dirty bomb equals Russians’. That, and only that, is what the Telegrapg readership has always heard. So, ‘nothing new here,’ the Telegraph reader flips to the next article.

All who work within the MSM – printed or electronic – must be acutely aware of the harm their perpetual covering up of factual news is having on society at large, when they would have unlimited access to alternative authentic sources. I think you’ll find this very interesting and certainly a story can be made out of this, even though it’s not recent. This is happening all over. As the video says, hundreds of thousands of Lebanese are locked out of their bank accounts, by the banks. The banks aren’t giving out the money because for every $1 they have, they lend out $9 from thin air. The more money in their bank, the more money they can lend out. This woman is now a hero.

We shouldn’t worry ourselves too much about MSM especially newspapers from what I see when in shops there are racks of them unsold. The Brits are infatuated with soaps so most wont be taking much notice of Ukraine the only talking point is the relentless flood of scroungers arriving in Dover.

If only it was a simple as watching a film, I could have saved myself two years from researching and writing a book that included reading many other books and articles and even some film that contradicted your film offering…if only I knew THE film to watch was the one you recommend…

I want to take this opportunity to broaden out the discussion in terms of how any of us believe anything. Clearly, most of us here are genuine, but we all disagree on something. For sure many of us put emotional investment into something. I want to give an example of how I changed my mind suddenly on something very recently:
I’d been watching a series of cryptozoology programmes on TV. I found myself drawn to the subject of Bigfoot. Whether it exists or not is a subject for another day, but after watching several shows where experts were dissecting a famous 1967 film and the movement, together with witness statements, I was convinced as to the authenticity of the so called Patterson film, aka the “man in a gorilla suit” film.
I was on the side of the “believers” and was ready to go into battle against the infidels who were calling hoax. Notwithstanding, and possibly with the idea of showing righteous indignation at those calling “hoax”, I visited a documentary purporting to take apart the Patterson film. Within a short while I realised the people calling “hoax” were correct.
What is interesting as far as the point I wish to make is the way often do not permit ourselves to listen to the other side of the argument. If anyone has ever done jury duty, the two perspectives presented by the prosecution and defence can in turn seem both initially persuasive. There is this point within us that may just switch from one belief system to another. It is a subtle balance point that only the individual can perceive. It is true that “a man persuaded against his will is of the same opinion still”.
It is better to follow truth than be absorbed by that self-righteous that often prohibits exploration of alternatives. I observe more generally that it is often nuance that is lacking, and dull intellects like binary positions and consciously or subconsciously construct strawmen in order to persuade others – and maybe themselves – as to their cause.
It is my belief that there are currently two important science and technological paradigms that need to be overturned: germ theory and “nukes”. Terrain theory has many champions. “Nuke denial” is even more avant-garde. Both germ theory and “nukes” share the element of control by fear…

…IN ADDITION TO THE WAY WE CHANGE OUR MIND – FLIP THE SWITCH – I WISH TO GIVE TWO MORE EXAMPLES. They are from my own experience because they can’t be from any other person’s experience:
In 1982 I was working on an archaeological dig. I was digging a bronze age mound when I got talking to a guy of nationalist inclination. He mentioned Ernst Zundel. At the time there was no internet, and like 99.99% of people I believed the six million lie. Now Zundel had been in the news as an “evil man”. I myself as a naive 21 year old was thinking just what an evil man Zundel was. I believed the “news”. I summarily dismissed my colleague’s “holocaust denial”. I had seen the film footage of bulldozers and bodies along with hearing the gas chamber narrative, and it was case closed. There was nothing to discuss any further as far as I was concerned.
It was only in 1995 onwards after being allowed via the internet to hear Zundel’s side of the story that I flipped my perspective. But it wasn’t overnight. I pored over practically every article on the Zundelsite with an internal “devils advocate” seeing if Zundel was wrong. I spent days reading his material as well as exploring counter arguments. Ernst Zundel was vindicated….
My other experience of a switched belief was around the early 2000s. I was becoming involved in nationalism. Initially as a keyboard warrior then more actively. Nick Griffin had recently become chairman of the BNP and he turned up at the first meeting I attended in the Black Country. I had seen him previously on TV years before as being some “disgraceful” Oxbridge undergraduate; “how dare he be involved with the National Front”. I was impressed by his bravery, so when I saw him for the first time, he possessed heroic status for me.
Now, it so happened there was a counter revolutionary faction so to speak against Griffin’s leadership. There would be a few of these posting on Stormfront saying basically that he was a crook. “How could this be?” we retorted. The nay sayers were characterised as “dinosaurs”. These nay sayers in my worldview were as derisory as Ernst Zundel originally was. To cut a much longer story short, in five years or so, I realised the dinosaurs were right. It took time though. (The bigger story here is that nationalist parties are state controlled and work on having a rapid turn over of their best people in order to make sure the state puppets remain in control…)
