More to the point, it’s often what the media omits to say that is most revealing.
Readers may have noticed that the Western mainstream has had little to say about the war in Ukraine recently. That may be because, as TASS reports below, Ukrainian forces have sustained catastrophic losses.
Of course, we cannot confirm this but the Western MSM’s silence speaks volumes. If nothing else, it suggests that the Western media would rather we didn’t know about the losses sustained by Western backed proxies.
After all, that might undermine efforts by Western governments to prepare their publics psychologically for war with Russia.
NATO chief Mark Rutte has already warned that Russia will attack a NATO state in the next five years, and he’s not alone.
His warning has been echoed repeatedly throughout the West.

Now I’m not saying that Russia might not actually be preparing for actual war with NATO. Indeed, given NATO’s aggressive expansion eastwards and its covert activity in Ukraine this would be a rational response. However, that is not why the Western media has been largely silent about Ukraine’s losses, as reported by TASS.
You see, nothing hones an army’s fighting ability better than combat experience and the conflict in Ukraine has transformed the Russian Army into a lean, mean fighting machine. It’s a combat force that now excels in battle and would totally outclass any Western army.
However, Western elites don’t want you to know that. After all, it might give the Western public second thoughts about going to war with Russia.

Kiev loses 10,100 soldiers, mercenaries in special op zone over week — Russian analyst

The Ukrainian armed forces’ losses in killed and wounded amounted to 10,100 soldiers, including foreign mercenaries, over the past week, military expert Andrey Marochko said.
According to him, soldiers of Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted the greatest damage on the enemy.
“The enemy’s medical and irreplaceable losses amounted to around 10,165 Ukrainian fighters and mercenaries. The greatest losses in manpower were inflicted on the Ukrainian armed forces in the area of responsibility of Russia’s Battlegroup East operating in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. It should be noted that this trend has been persisting for seven consecutive weeks. Despite this, the Ukrainian military command continues to regularly send fresh forces to these areas and issue thoughtless orders to assault our positions,” the expert wrote on his VKontakte page.
Marochko added that over the past week, Russian forces have also destroyed 5,200 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), seven unmanned boats, a tank, over 700 various combat vehicles, seven multiple rocket launcher vehicles, 57 field guns, and 24 enemy electronic and counter-battery warfare stations.
