The Ever-Widening War
With Putin focused on useless “peace talks,” Ukraine (or Washington or NATO) attacked four Russian Air Force bases and destroyed a number of strategic Russian bombers. The BBC reports:

If this is true, Russia’s strategic nuclear forces were attacked from inside Russia. This seems to be a massive failure of Russian intelligence.
Curiously, the Russian English language sites, RT and Sputnik, have little to say this morning about the successful attack that Ukraine claims destroyed one-third of Russia’s strategic bomber fleet. Instead, the news services babble on about the second round of peace talks.

It seems that Putin still does not realize that Russia is at war.
Putin’s Condition for Peace is the Roll Back of NATO’s Border from Russia

During the long conflict in the Russian provinces in Ukraine, I have posted many reports on the ever-widening war. We are approaching the point where the conflict opens into a full-fledge war. The question is: Does anyone in the Western governments understand this?
It remains to be seen whether the successful Ukrainian attack on Russia’s strategic bombing fleet will finally wake Putin up to the cost of his ever-widening war. The cost is likely to rise as the Europeans have removed all limits on the weapons and on the range of the missiles that will be supplied to Ukraine. Is this a negotiating tactic to pressure Putin, or is it Europe’s entry into a war with Russia that European politicians have recently talked so much about? If it is the latter, why does Trump permit it as it undercuts the peace negotiations that Trump said would end the conflict?
I have explained Putin’s patience with the conflict in terms of his hope that peace negotiations can be turned into a wider agreement that achieves mutual security and an end of the conflict between Russia and the West. Putin’s view of what these conditions are have gone without examination in the Western world. Instead, there have been absurd demands that Putin agree to an immediate cease fire before he knows what the agreement is, that Putin agree to give back some of the conquered territory, that Putin drop his demand for demilitarization of Ukraine, and so forth.
It is long past time for the West to come to terms with Putin’s conditions for peace. Putin’s principal condition is that NATO be rolled back from Russia’s borders to the position that existed in the late 1990s. In other words, the failure must be rectified of the Clinton regime to keep the promise made by Washington that in exchange for Soviet approval of the reunification of Germany, NATO would not move one inch to the East.
NATO must roll itself back from Russia’s borders. No more Poland, Finland, Romania in NATO.
If peace negotiations turn out not to be an opportunity for Putin to achieve a broad agreement that addresses Russia’s security requirements, a likely consequence is that Putin will find himself under pressure to drive NATO out of Ukraine as a demonstration that NATO can be defeated. If a mutual security agreement is not then forthcoming, will the Kremlin conclude that Russian security is impossible to obtain unless NATO is driven out of Europe?
I have emphasized from the beginning of this conflict that what originated as a low level conflict would, as a result of the restraint Putin put on Russia’s conduct of the conflict, widen and eventually spin out of control. It remains to be seen whether the successful Ukrainian attack on Russia’s strategic forces will wake Putin up to this fact.
Possibly Putin has not yet rid himself of his hopeful delusions, but Russia has. If Putin is again refused a mutual security agreement, as he was in the winter of 2021-2022, thereby forcing Russia’s entry into Donbas, the conflict in Ukraine could cease being limited to a military operation to protect the Russian occupied provinces now reincorporated into Russia. Putin will be pressured to take off his constraints on the conflict.
Russia intends to be sovereign, and Russia intends to survive, with or without Putin.
If you look at the data on Russian armament production, it has increased dramatically, and it is not deployed on the front in Ukraine. It seems that Russia is building a powerful military force that NATO cannot withstand, especially if Washington is preoccupied with Iran and China.
The real question is whether Europe and America are even capable of fighting. No European government has the support of its ethnic nationality. Are white European and American ethnicities willing to fight for governments that have intentionally overrun citizens with immigrant-invaders? In the United States discrimination against white American citizens is institutionalized. In the Western world, the narrative is that it is Russia that is in the wrong and the US, NATO, and Ukraine that are in the right. This is nonsense, and the Russians know it. The West used the Soviet collapse to break up Russia, turning former Russian and Soviet provinces into independent countries. Then the West financed and orchestrated “color revolutions” that overthrew Russian-friendly governments, installed Russian-hostile governments, and used them as in Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014 to attack Russians and Russian interests. Similar attempts were unsuccessful in Belarus and in former Soviet Central Asian provinces. On top of these hostile Western moves against Russia, US missile bases are operative in Poland and Romania.
Is it possible that Western policymakers think that Russia does not see the hostility directed against them? If this hostility cannot be ended and rolled back with a Great Power Agreement, is Russia preparing for a wider war with the West?
For Russia this is an existential issue. It is a serious mistake for the West to continue its provocations of Russia. All of humanity is at risk.
Putin could not care less about a negotiated peace in Ukraine. He wants an end to the 75-year old East-West conflict, and that requires a rollback of NATO to its 20th century border, the end of sanctions, the end of Washington’s hegemony. This is the real issue, and no one is discussing it.
I think that Putin’s hope for a great power agreement is unrealistic. It exceeds the imagination of the American foreign policy community. The Western world is lost in its own false narratives. War will be the result. This time Russia won’t stop at the border with Western Europe.

Black Teenagers who killed a pensioner in fire bomb attack on his east London home are jailed

Two black teenagers have been locked up for a firework attack which led to the death of widower in his own home.
In the years leading up to the attack, Robert Price, 76, had been the target of a prolonged campaign of racial harassment and criminal damage, as one of the last white people in the area, the Old Bailey was told.
Nathan Otitodilchukwu, 18, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named threatened to “torch” the pensioner before punching a hole in his window and pushing fireworks into his home. The pair had admitted manslaughter and were sentenced on Monday by Judge Rebecca Trowler KC.
Otitodilchukwu was jailed for six years and the youth, who cannot be named because of his age, was handed a custodial sentence of two years and eight months.
Judge Trowler told the younger boy: “Mr Price lost his life in circumstances of a planned attack.

However, this was a “determined effort to carry out this offence and cause harm she said.
The judge accepted that the younger defendant may have been “encouraged” by the other boy who had previously been involved in much criminal behaviour.
prosecutor Catherine Farrelly KC had told how Mr Price’s terraced home in Dagenham, east London, caught fire in July 2024, with black smoke filling the house before he could be saved.
“Robert Price was killed in a racist attack which was started at his home address by the two defendants who smashed a window at his property and threw fireworks inside,” she told the court.
John Shoesmith, who had been friends with Mr Price for 10 years, said he would never leave his house because “kids would disturb him,” he was the victim of an active campaign of ethnic cleansing in the area to move out white people.
Mr Shoesmith described him as elderly socially awkward and said his lack of social skills and poor hearing meant some people found him “hard to get along with”.
The harassment included acts of criminal damage to his house, the court heard.
According to Mr Shoesmith, Mr Price’s windows were regularly smashed by a number of the locals to the point that he had his downstairs windows boarded up.
“In Mr Shoesmith’s words, this would happen all the time and they would make his life hell,” Mrs Farrelly said.
The most recent incident of criminal damage had occurred three days before Mr Price’s death, when a brick had been put through his window, the court heard and painted outside were the words
” whites get out”
CCTV footage from the day of the fire showed that in the hours before the attack, Otitodilchukwu, who was living in care, met up with the 16-year-old boy.
They filmed themselves launching a firework into a lake, the court was told.
At around 5.30pm, they walked towards Mr Price’s house with the 16-year-old holding fireworks, Mrs Farrelly said.

Doorbell footage showed Mr Price open the door slightly and say something, before the 16-year-old ran away shouting “he saw me fam” shortly before the youths returned and carried out the attack.
“A loud bang can be heard, followed by high-pitched laughing as the group run away,” the prosecutor said.
A few minutes later, smoke could be seen coming out of the window, before flames and black smoke engulfed the room, the court heard.
A neighbour who had seen the flames knocked on the door and tried to get into the house to rescue Mr Price, but the door was locked, Mrs Farrelly said.
Firefighters were later able to get inside and put out the fire, but Mr Price could not be saved.
When Otitodilchukwu, of Romford, returned to his care home that evening, he spoke to a support worker and bragged, “I’m going to do 20 years in jail” and “Don’t check for news about what happened in Dagenham”, the court heard.
A few days later, he asked a woman if she had heard about the fire, before telling her, “If anyone asks, don’t say I was in Dagenham,” the court was told.
When asked why, he joked: “Maybe I started the fire with fireworks”
He went on to say that he was drunk with two of his friends, that he had put fireworks through letter boxes and that it was funny.

In a victim impact statement read to the court, Mr Price’s family said he was a “kind” and “generous” man, and described the “suffering” that he had endured from the racist attacks
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, of Scotland Yard, said: “This is a deeply tragic case, which saw a man lose his life in his own home after a completely mindless racist and reckless act had devastating consequences.

As far as I am aware, none has mentioned explicitly what this ‘too much’ is, but anyone paying attention would know that prior to the SMO, Putin wanted talks about a new security agreement, and this would be Nazi NATO out of Eastern Europe, and also Finland and Sweden.
This is why there’s going to be no comprehensive peace deal, and explains why European NATO members won’t even consider Russian terms, which are entirely reasonable.

Putin the Weak has been too kind and soft on the Nazis. Some are suggesting a nuke will be used in UKraine. I don’t know.
There’s one clear truth in this struggle for global domination, and that is, it’s going to end in one side being defeated. The Oval Office admission is just a technical defeat, where Putin failed to press the advantage.

Some say Mossad, if so, then I highly doubt 3 launch failures at 3 bases. This was MI6, and I’d even suggest the 3 fails were in the plan, just to make it look like a half baked UKrainian effort.
The Russians know more than they’re letting on, so this will determine the level of revenge, which is another mistake.
The truth, Putin needs to nuke key sites in Nazi UK. The Nazis are out of play books, because they only have nukes left, and even so, most aren’t opperable. They can’t afford to run their 11 strong carrier fleet, so how can they afford to maintain anything over 500 nukes?

The western-intelligence attacks on Russian airfields was certainly a propaganda coup but winning a propaganda war is to win over some simple minds but propaganda cannot win a war. If Russia doesn’t retaliate for that western-backed attack on its airfields which would be within their rights to, it seems clear their plan is to continue rolling with the punches to continue depleting NATO resources. The amount of time, energy, brain-hours and deceptive planning that went into one PR exercise for a brief success that will soon be off the front pages was a vast sink for talent and time. It could have all been used for something better and suggests the west knew it was beat even back then.
Those headlines were awkward for Russia but maybe so inconsequential to their eventual success they feel no need to explain it and can shrug off the loss of a few planes as we got beat on that one. It always happens in war you can’t win every engagement, but all that NATO potential wasted to spin some PR.
