winston churchill seized my family home
the largest country house in essex
because it had deep wine cellars
we were told after the war we would get it back
the 3 workmans cottages that serviced the hall
used to go through the bins at night they said the amount of food wasted was shocking
as the rest of the country was under food rationing, also the amount of secret papers just stuffed in the bin was incredible, D day papers astrologers forecasts and huge amounts of bottles, Churchill used the hall a lot, its still an official secret
At night Churchill could be heard drunkenly shouting and laughing
he had a small cinema in the cellar, where film of germans being tortutured to death was shown
said John Colvile who was the only one there who was well liked

i stayed in this hotel and it was the tattiest place ive ever stayed
the toilet looked like it had been removed from a plane
