Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s latest attempt to play the tough-guy card on the international stage has imploded in a blaze of diplomatic embarrassment.
The highly anticipated meeting, intended to solidify a bilateral agreement on the Ukraine’s rare mineral resources, devolved into a contentious confrontation.
President Trump, accompanied by Vice President J.D. Vance, chastised Zelensky for his ingratitude toward U.S. aid and his reluctance to engage in peace negotiations with Russia.
Trump accused Zelensky of “gambling with World War Three” and questioned his commitment to diplomacy. The heated exchange culminated in Trump abruptly ending the meeting.
Zelensky: “[There are] a lot of questions. Let’s start from the beginning. First of all, during the war, everybody has problems, even you, but you have a nice ocean [in between], and don’t feel it now, but you will feel it in the future. God bless you.”
Trump: “Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel… because you’re in no position to dictate that. Remember this, you’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel. We’re going to feel good. We’re gonna feel very good and very strong.”
Zelensky: “You will feel the influence. I’m telling you now you will feel the influence.”
Trump: “You’re right now, not in a very good position. You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now with us.”
Zelensky: “I’m not playing cards right now, I’m very serious Mr President. I am a wartime president.”
Trump: “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War Three. You’re gambling with World War Three, and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, far more than a lot of people say they should.”
During this tumultuous encounter, White House Correspondent of Voice of America Misha Komadovsky captured the poignant reaction of Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova.
Seated near the leaders, Ambassador Markarova was seen placing her head in her hands and facepalming as Zelensky’s bluster crashed and burned.
Assistant to the President & White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino wrote on X, “Ukrainian Ambassador understands that Zelensky is a complete and total disaster…”

According to Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich, the White House stated that “Ukrainians were begging to reset” the conversation, but Marco Rubio and Michael Waltz informed them that Zelenskyy needed to leave the White House grounds and return only when he was ready for a serious discussion about peace. U.S. officials, including President Trump, reportedly felt disrespected by Zelenskyy’s rhetoric and demeanor, noting that he was “shrugging and rolling his eyes” throughout the conversation.

It’s quite likely she was actually trained as a diplomat. But Zelensky is so far up his own sphincter after all that fawning over him by western powers–so he would sacrifice his country in a war against Russia–his conceit was enough that he thought his pulling power was better than her advice.
In the comments section of a local news article this morning I was surprised how many people support Zelensky and despise Trump and Putin. The level of western propaganda that has worked on them and overtaken the capacity to think logically is just shocking. They could have died in that war if Putin wasn’t a world class statesman but the dictator they say he is. They had scrambled brains for breakfast all round.

I watched several videos and analysis.
The background and back-story is VERY important.
Zelensky was supposed to sign an agreement re: Rare Earth minerals in Ukraine.
It was discussed, finalized..and agreed to on both sides.
It was supposed to be signed 5 days earlier, but Zelensky wanted to do it that day( Feb 28).
Trump and the White House capitulated and accomodated him.
Then Zelensky became a turd in the punchbowl in the White House.
He went totally off – script.
What could have been a positive moment and action ,towards peace effectively ambushed the White House and Trump.
Trump and Vance were probably WTF is going on ???, but gave Zelensky enough rope to hang himself.
Trump and Vance probably sensed and predicted what was going on .
Then came their turn to humiliate Zelensky as this was now “war”.
The deal on the table would have given USA mineral rights(to share with Ukraine) and the US presence would also act as a quasi DMZ buffer to deter Russia.
Win Win.
It was also reported that Zelensky was told to leave the White House.(probably first time ever).
A video is circulating that the Ukraine ambassador in the room was embarrased…looking down and covering her face.
Methinks (((Zelensky))) will soon become THE most hated leader in his own country and internationally as he continually pisses against the wind. The “good” fight is over and done !!!
