The number of refugees living in Germany reached a new high this year, according to government figures released on Friday.
Some 3.48 million refugees with varying types of residency permits were living in Germany at the end of June 2024 — roughly 60,000 more than at the end of 2023.
One-third of these refugees came from Ukraine.
The number also includes some individuals who are obliged to leave Germany but remain in the country under a tolerance policy that covers a number of situations, such as illness, a lack of identification documents, or people whose children have a residence permit.
The statistics were provided in response to a request by the socialist Left Party in parliament and first reported by the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.
Left lawmaker decries ‘scaremongering‘
The number of asylum-seekers has recently become a point of political contention in Germany and Europe more broadly.
But Left Party lawmaker Clara Bünger, who made the request, said the figures show that refugees make up just 4% of the population, and said some of those people have been in the country for decades.
She said the figures stand “in clear contradiction to the misleading portrayal of an alleged ‘national emergency.'”
“Such scaremongering deliberately distracts from actual social problems and uses fear to make refugees a scapegoat,” Bünger added.

The exceptional nation says it has 650,000 homeless people but I’m guessing that’s the lowest figure they could rig it down to. Now they’re trying to replace the word homeless with unhoused. It sounds less brutal, like saying Al Capone wasn’t a mobster he was naughty. I wonder how many illegals are homeless? I bet it’s not many, and I bet it’s a much smaller percentage of the migrant population.
It’s end-stage capitalism. Rents too high, homes too expensive to buy considering most US homes are mainly made of wood. Lots of empty houses, lots of homeless people, the economy’s not geared for housing people but enriching the rich. We’ll find the same here in the UK soon. House prices go up and people would feel richer than last year even if nothing in the country was produced and sold.
People don’t realise that unless they have a second house they can sell to realise the gain they won’t see the money unless they downsize to pocket some of it. That’s not enrichment All it does is invite higher property rates; then when die you’re at risk the house value drags you into the inheritance tax bracket. Then your kids will have to sell the house to meet the tax bill and what they’re left with may be the same as when you first bought it. It’s the council and government getting enriched by it not you.

Agents of treason and treachery such as Clara Bünger deserve to be thrown into the street, stripped naked, have their kneecaps, elbows, and wrists shattered, forced to watch her family members get vigorously sodomized by a frothy mob of the Orc invaders then have her turn, flogged and rolled in pig shit, then hanged with a sign stapled to her chest that says “I aided the invasion and destruction of our country”.
Refugees? Who do they think they’re kidding?
Are they kowtowing to a law that says you can’t call invaders by that name, or call them illegal aliens, or use whatever honest or accurate descriptor you could use. Even calling them new residents would be more truthful. But no, you have to call them by a name that evokes sympathy and makes them sound harmless, like refugees. Whoever call them that is lying.
As if those invading from countries not at war aren’t enough, the Ukraine war and Israel’s wars contribute more. The globalists just love to create chaos, and forcing people to go where they aren’t wanted and don’t fit in is part of that. If they succeed in increasing their wars to World War level, we’ll all be running back and forth into each other’s countries either to fight or to escape the fighting or to establish ourselves somewhere safe. But nowhere is going to be safe when all homelands are overrun or blown up.

Have you forgotten that immediately post war while traumatised & in a vulnerable state , the population was subjected to an intensive re-education /brainwashing campaign that has never ceased, and the likes of which your beloved Hindi’s & Latinos never experienced.
