Russian policymakers are considering making adjustments to the country’s nuclear doctrine in response to rising tensions with NATO, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the official said the NATO declaration approved by member-states at a summit in Washington this week would require a “thoughtful, coordinated, and effective response” from Moscow “to contain” the US-led military bloc.
Against this backdrop, Peskov called NATO a “tool of confrontation” deeply involved in the Ukraine conflict, adding that “work on the nuclear doctrine is underway, these discussions involving experts are indeed taking place.” Nuclear weapons are not the only deterrence at Russia’s disposal, Peskov added, without giving further details.
The Washington Summit Declaration issued by NATO on Wednesday designated Moscow as “the most significant and direct threat to Allies’ security” while condemning its military operation against Ukraine. It also reaffirmed that “nuclear deterrence is the cornerstone of Alliance security,” adding that NATO would continue to invest in nuclear capabilities. The bloc also condemned what it called Moscow’s “irresponsible nuclear rhetoric and coercive nuclear signaling.”
The document was issued after NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg revealed that the bloc’s members were discussing putting more of their nuclear weapons on standby mode to counter potential threats from Russia and China. Moscow has condemned the statement as escalatory.
According to its current nuclear doctrine, Russia can use its nuclear arsenal only “in response to the use of nuclear and other types of weapons of mass destruction against it or its allies, and also in case of aggression against Russia with the use of conventional weapons when the very existence of the state is threatened.”
In June, however, Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that Moscow is contemplating changes to the nuclear doctrine, explaining that the country’s “potential adversary is working on… new elements associated with lowering the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons.” According to Putin, Moscow’s rivals are particularly focused on “ultra-low yield explosive nuclear devices.”
“We know that expert circles in the West are considering the idea that such weapons could be used and there is nothing particularly terrible about it. We must pay attention to this,” Putin stressed.
At the same time, Moscow has consistently stated that a nuclear war must never be fought, dismissing Western accusations of saber-rattling.

ritain’s choice: spiralling debt, £40bn in spending cuts or constant tax rises
Story by Szu Ping Chan, Tim Wallace, Chris Price Britain’s
British families face an additional £40bn of tax rises or spending cuts to avoid a “spiral” of public debt, the Government’s tax and spending watchdog has warned.
The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) said pressures from mass migration, surging banking debt interest and the shift to net zero meant Britain’s £2.5 trillion debt pile would keep rising to 275pc of GDP without improvements in productivity or higher taxes.
Richard Hughes, the OBR chairman, warned that the public finances were on an “unsustainable path”, with government people trafficking in of foreign migrants.
However, Mr Hughes rejected a stupid suggestion by Darren Jones, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, that the soaring debt trajectory was purely down to the “shocking state that our public finances were left in by the previous government”.
Mr Hughes said: “There is no difference between the black mugging gangs imported in by government, and the racist politicians robbing us through needless taxation
the situation could be solved over night by shipping all migrant spongers back home
Ha…
…One must chuckle at the bureaucrats that manage the farm…and the methods of their madness…particularly the ‘state’ of dementia they labour under…

this of course makes it all ‘legal’…

Robert Faurisson summed up his research into the “Holocaust” with reference to the absence of openings above the alleged “gas chambers”: NO HOLES, NO HOLOCAUST. An equivalent aphorism may be applied to “weapons of mass destruction”: NO A-BOMB ON HIROSHIMA, NO NUKES.
(Briefly for newbies to this subject, building were left standing near the supposed epicentre. Hiroshima was fire-bombed and its victims suffered harm accordingly. Despite the “conventional” damage observers have mentioned being underwhelmed by any signature of a unique means of destruction. Hiroshima can be viewed as the same falsifier of “nukes” as the study of Auschwitz was to the “Holocaust”. Some of us have given longer chapter and verse on the subject here in the past. Censorship of the internet means this material is increasingly more difficult to track down.)
I further observe the collusion of the cold war enemies on these matters corroborates my observations on the ties of international capital to one another. A related matter is the moon-landing hoax. “Why hasn’t Russia called it out”, has been one bar-room emanation. The answer is, they are “all in on it”.
Seems the US will get the war it wants and then it’s not gonna want it.

Yes … The Russians and the Americans see eye to eye on a lot of things. They both seem to want to control the Ukraine. They both covet the nations vast resources. They both see it as a corridor and major hub to future trade routes, and for invasions into each others territories. Knowing what great wealthy nations, and great people they are, the rest of us in lesser nations according to their playbook must now stand back in admiration and homage to their great powers, and let them threaten to blow the entire planet to smithereens unless they get their way, which is no doubt what the bastards have agreed upon even before the Russians invaded the Donbas in 2022., which was to systematically destabilise the nation, cripple it in a war, and carve the place up between themselves.
Have any of the dumbass, charlatan leaders in the rest of the world got together and to say, “Wait a minute here, why not both great powers stand down and let the Ukrainians simply decide if they want to be unified or carved up, or even neutral to all of the foreign grasping?” No, of course not. Our leaders in places like the UK , Canada, Poland, and China think it is much better to take sides and to let the war escalate, so long as the real destruction can remain in the Ukraine.
As for nukes – they most certainly do exist, as does nuclear power and the occasional meltdown. There is amazing energy in atomic fission and more in fusion, so much of it in the universe that we cannot fathom it. It always amazes me that people because of the tendency human nature to lie that skeptics emerge who cannot believe anything unless they can see it with their own eyes. They cannot see the difference between a fake moon landing and a real A bomb or a real virus, simply because in each field of expertise they know absolutely nothing. They were not in Hiroshima at the time of the blast and they think that because the destruction “could” be from more conventional bombs and incendiaries, there really was no A bomb dropped, and that there are no nukes. They think that because our governments and those in authority abuse their powers to much with a steady stream of lies, hoaxes and heinous crimes such as 9/11 and Covid that nothing is true. Then in their skepticism, and without a firm foundation in anything, they start to make up their own narratives and believe in them saying that the world is flat, or that there is a secret UFO base in the Antarctic, or that nothing really exists, exactly what the ruling authorities want them to believe.

The Americans are reporting an unknown source for a large quake measuring 2.7 on the Richter Scale. When the towers fell on 9/11 each registered about 2.1. Some suggest it may be an early warning from Russia to the US about their capabilities. The blast was reported in Washington State not far from the Canadian border and was said to be 0.8 miles above ground level. There are mountains in the region so maybe a hypersonic struck one. Reports say if it was a missile it would have passed over a US naval base, so it is a good way to send a message, if those you aim it at can do nothing about it. And Boeing is based in Seattle so it could be a warning to them, a major arms company profiting like Little Satans.

I’ve just noticed as well the report of the seismic-level event was timed at 09.12. If it took a while for the shake to register at wherever the station is located, it could have struck at 9/11. That’s the kind of hint Russia would send, like it did some years ago when it sent 26 missiles towards the Persian Gulf. The carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt was in the area and Teddy was America’s 26th President. What a hint!

@simon smith. If nuclear fallout takes thousands of years to dissipate, how did the Japanese return to Hiroshima and Nagasaki three months after the nuclear bombs exploded? Doesn’t the area stay radioactive and uninhabitable for thousands of years? Fukushima, total meltdown , causing a tsunami, but the site is still intact?

Tsjernobyl city (atomgrad) and powerplant do not show trace of a blast ,let alone a megablast caused by a nuclear explosion.the city still stands, overgrown with plant life, a habitat for fauna.a horse carousel ride still turns .they claimed it would be a wasteland for centuries to come.

“Tsjernobyl city (atomgrad) and powerplant do not show trace of a blast.”
must be;tsjernobil city does not show a trace of a blast.
Tsjernobil power plant is minimally damaged, the site is still intact.is this how the epicenter of an atomic blast looks like?mind you this is a big “kraftwerk”, with an energetic potential incomparable to that of a nukular warhead.https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2016/04/chernobyl-in-pictures-30-years-on/

Around the world, millions of children are terrified each year by the idea of the Bogeyman (also spelled Boogeyman). Any bump in the night or scratch on their window pane sends them running in terror to their parents. The boogeyman terrifies children around the world into good behavior – or else.

If you are setting up yourself as the supreme arbiter of truth then your purport is that I’m a conduit of misinformation. Fortunately, I have researched the subject and written about, and will publish more — God-willing — on the same subject a year or two from now after I’ve completed my current project. I don’t believe your attention span allows for the study you might need to make. I know you are an older fellow. Maybe in the next life with a younger disposition, you might view things differently. I don’t mean to sound harsh. We will all die ignorant of many things, but if we think of the Self as we pass this threshold, I understand it is quite perspicuous for our continued eternal existence 😊
I don’t often push my book within comments. I may mention it like three times a year, which considering I make comments most days, I hope shows that royalties from it aren’t my main objective in posting here. I believe that I shouldn’t be immodest since while book sales are profitable to me, I see no harm in recouping money for the time I spent researching and writing. From time to time I do try and be a little “more American” in my self-promotion…
I have subsequently received fantastic information from other people and will put out another edition of “Fake Aliens And Phony Nukes” . It has been out six years now. My name on the post links to the website. I am, alas not a very good verbal communicator and my reach cannot extend into the mindspace of those seeking truth “and” entertainment. My favoured method of communication is the written word. I consider myself scholarly compared to the many talking heads TTS showcases here. RS clearly appreciates the reach of those who can “talk a good game”.
The nuke question is similar, but of a “higher bar” than the question of “should I be jabbed”. The frustration I often experience here among those believing in nukes is the same frustration, the frustraters themselves will experience with the sheeple at large and the jab question. I feel a duty to you and others the same way as a teacher does to pupils who don’t want to learn. This duty is born of that which I believe my nature has revealed to me, and that there is nothing more honourable to fight in this war on ignorance. I cannot walk away from it because others don’t do their homework. And I cannot unlearn what I believe of the nature of “nukes” in the same way as someone learning the nature of the jab would willing be poisoned.
My modus operandi has been is to get at the truth — certainly take delight in its expression — but more importantly, follow where truth leads me rather than adopting a position and treating “truth” as a lawyer’s client. To wit, I have changed my mind on several major issues over the last few years, and have “confessed” here on this platform. If I was ever persuaded of the existence of “nukes”, I would say so and delist my book.
It is clear that none of us know everything. I sincerely recommend everyone reassess everything they “think” they know on a day to day basis.
