Robert Bridge – Strategic Review Aug 5, 2024
The German residents of Saxony and Thuringia awoke on Monday to a radical new political landscape as the Alternative for Germany, or Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), received more than double as many votes as the three parties which make up the federal coalition government — the center-left Social Democrats (SPD), environmentalist Greens and neoliberal Free Democrats (FDP) — combined.
This marks the first in any German state since Nazi rule.
The results represent a major setback to Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s struggling coalition government and demonstrate the increasing breakup of the political landscape and surge in popularity of anti-establishment parties across the continent.
Scholz labelled the losses for his government “bitter” and called upon mainstream parties to build governments without “right-wing extremists”.
The AfD, which, as an “extremist” group, falls under the official surveillance of the German domestic intelligence agency, was founded in 2013 as an offshoot of the CDU. It advertises itself as a right-wing movement that is critical of the European Union’s policies but supportive of German membership. Since its founding, the party has moved further to the political right and shifted its attention to immigration and Islam.
The party is most powerful in the formerly communist east Germany, which is less wealthy than the country’s west.
Björn Höcke, 52, the leader of Thuringia, has been convicted of knowingly using a Nazi slogan at political events, a conviction he is appealing. A court in the eastern city of Halle fined the history teacher turned politician for using the prohibited phrase “Everything for Germany”, or “Alles für Deutschland” in German. The slogan was etched on weapons used by Nazi paramilitary officers. Germany has harsh laws against the use of phrases and symbols linked to the Nazi party.
In the last nationwide election, for the European Parliament in June, the AfD attracted 16 percent of the vote. In other words, not exactly a nationwide nationalist takeover. Moreover, with just over 2 million people out of a national population of more than 80 million, Thuringia ranks as one of the smallest of Germany’s 16 states. At the same time, Saxony’s population stands at just 4 million.
Nevertheless, it is rather astonishing, and worrisome, that about one in three voters in these two states cast their vote for a party that the states’ own intelligence agencies have declared to be ‘extremist’.
Factors that have led to support for the AfD in eastern Germany include deep dissatisfaction with the national government, anti-immigration sentiment and opposition to any further German military aid for Ukraine. And despite the government’s rapid reaction to the deadly knife attack in Solingen, in western Germany, shortly before the elections failed to result in a change of opinion. Four out of five German voters have expressed discontent with the work of the federal government, a sentiment that has lasted a long time.
The AfD rightly views itself as having established a deep support base. The state elections brought “historic” success for their party, AfD co-leader Alice Weidel said on Sunday, calling for the federal government to stand down.
“It is also a punishment for the federal government, it is a requiem for this coalition,” she said. “The government in Berlin should ask itself if it can even continue to govern. This question of fresh elections should be posed at least following the [upcoming] election in Brandenburg, because things cannot carry on like this.”
Now the government of Olaf Scholz is attempting to recalibrate its positions, moving further to the right to counter the AfD’s respectable gains. Looking down the road to the immigration debate during the electoral campaigns, the federal government last week announced harsher migration and security policies, and made an unexpected move to deport 28 asylum-seekers who had committed criminal offenses to Afghanistan.
Now, all eyes are now focused on the eastern German state of Brandenburg, where elections are scheduled for September 22. The coalition of the SPD, Greens and FDP are nervously anticipating this vote as the German population is increasingly demanding new blood in the halls of power. If early nationwide elections were to be held today, current polling shows they would no longer get a majority.
The victors would be their competitors the AfD and the Conservative Union of the Christian Democrats (CDU) and their Bavarian counterparts, the Christian Social Union (CSU). The Union, which comprises the largest opposition bloc in the Bundestag, has long called for the government to step down.
Therefore, the SPD will be campaigning extra hard leading up to election day, because the vote will be crucial for them. The party has led the government in Brandenburg since 1990. “I expect that everyone will make even more of an effort than ever before,” said SPD co-leader Lars Klingbeil on Sunday evening in Berlin. The party needed to work together to win back votes, he said. “Everyone now needs to play their part so that things improve.”
In the event that Brandenburg’s state premier of 11 years, Dietmar Woidke, fails to be reelected, this could set in motion some serious power moves in the country. There is even the possibility that Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who polls higher than Scholz among Germans, could become the chancellor candidate for the federal election in September 2025.
Will the coalition government last that long? That’s a question many Germans are anxiously pondering today amid the rise of far-right ideology, which is beginning to reverberate across the country. Whether that will turn into a political earthquake remains to be seen.

Aside from the fact that AfD is controlled opposition, I read no further than this:
“This marks the first in any German state since Nazi rule.”
“Robert Bridge”, whoever you are, there was no “nazi” rule in Germany. The NSDAP under Adolf Hitler were voted into power in 1933.
The “word “nazi” was coined by a New York jew.
They deport twenty-eight invaders to appease the Right? How about a few million? and make sure they cannot come back
I guess the cowardly Americans are already planning false flag events in Europe to be blamed on Russia to get a war started before their November elections so they can ban elections. Or maybe they’ll bring in new laws to vet who may stand for election (Never Trump?) on the grounds of “national security”. The Americans are losing their pliant play-dough Chancellor Scholtz so the new AfD may be a spur to them.
They’re also calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. That can’t mean sympathy for the Palestinians, it never has, and is more likely in order to conserve weapons. Though what they can do with forty tank shells instead of twenty isn’t quite clear. Maybe they think it’ll make the loss smaller.

Candace Owens, the AfD, Farage etc., or any “party” will be compromised by the state. The state has long infiltrated the major parties — freemasonry and the old school tie — and usually controls the smaller operations with the head of a party or the deputy leader. In the case of the BNP while Griffin was certainly compromised, many of us have suspected the anodyne Simon Darby, a deputy leader who “came out of nowhere” was the MI5 “handler” of “Project BNP” before it imploded. One suspects the same of the other smaller parties. I recall Icke castigating the Green Party on this matter. No fan of his, but I believe he is honest on most things not relating to his own divinity.
A good summary of how political parties have come to subvert the state may be found in UK Column’s “Dissident’s Guide To The Constitution”: https://www.ukcolumn.org/series/a-dissidents-guide-to-the-constitution
(I find myself not too close to UK Column’s overly conservative approach these day, but I give credit where it’s due.)
It is interesting, isn’t it, how we naturally have come to accept the idea of a party system? In Britain following the (In)Glorious Revolution, two competing oligarchies vied for power: the Tories — the landowners — and the Whigs — friends of the bankers — who eventually worked out their differences as the daughters of (((bankers))) married into “noble” families who needed the cash. This was the era when feudalists were overtaken by the wielders of international capital. Henry Makow’s recommendation of Anthony Trollop’s “The Way We Live Now” makes for good viewing. The BBC (spit) made a good drama series on this. Few now realise it but the lead character is based on Lionel Rothschild – the son of Nathan Rothschild.
Money has been the lubricant of party machinations ever since. The Labour Party in its original guise was a genuine working class party that arose because of the increased electorate’s realisation that the then Big Two were the same. Of course, Labour has long been subverted, arguably from the 1930s onwards, with the really big sellout coming under Blair.
In my research into political economy, I share an observation I have not seen anywhere else expressed: while the names of institutions often remain the same, e.g. The Bank Of England or the Labour Party, their function often changes. On the other hand some institutions carry on functioning the same under different guises e.g. Round Table – CFR – Trilateral Commission; that is different incarnations of intermediaries between government and banks/private equity groupings. So “club” functions change while their names remain the same; the “names” remain the same while the “club name” changes
But yeah, it is certainly interesting to contemplate the possibility of Members of Parliament the world over voting according to conscience and being elected by an intelligent electorate voting such people in. Alas, the selfish interests of the political class are complemented by the idiocies of the many.

The word ‘nazi’ wasn’t coined by a Jew. The Nazis coined it & used it themselves. This is another cass sunstein ploy to get whites focused on idiotic issues. Also there’s some nutjob scum or cass sunstein agent pretending to be a ‘national socialist’ on the Renegade site that bothers people for using the word ‘nazi’ too. The Admin doesn’t realize its a cass sunstein plant.
If they start removing/expelling the Jews/wogs from Germany then you know they’re real. Too bad Afd is simply another CIA controlled phony party. 10 to 1 Farage’s Reform Party is an MI5 setup too. Make the white-wing think they have a chance via ‘politics’ or ‘democracy’.

Germany of today is going through a similar experience of what was going on in Weimar Germany of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Also a recent development is that the German Police recently invaded, closed and kicked out Extremist Muslims from their Mosques in the cities of Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin. Thus the Right is rising in Germany and will lead to a German strongman that will lead Germany to rule over a reformed EU to lead Europe with the Vatican / Papacy in a Revived Holy Roman Empire that will destroy Israel through stealth, deceit and flatteries and gain
control of Jerusalem and have the AntiChrist rule from there.
Simon Smith–are you siding with “the Working Class”? There are two things wrong with that: the Jews favour Class War over Race War, and the Working Class need to clean house big-time. I am not even particularly siding with them against the rich
It’s time to debunk the “Nazi” epithet, and to show you where it came from, who invented it, and why. The fact is, that the term “Nazi” was created by the enemies of the National Socialists (the NSDAP). It was a pejorative term; an insult or a slur. The Germans, not even Hitler nor any other top party officials ever called themselves “Nazis”! They called themselves “National Socialists” and nothing else. Those who can read German and have studied any of the original documents and speeches know this already, but most don’t.
“The term “Nazi” (along with “Nazism”) is a political epithet invented by Konrad Heiden (7 August 1901 – 18 June 1966) during the 1920s as a means of denigrating the NSDAP and National Socialism. Heiden was a journalist and member of the Social Democratic Party. The term is a variant of the nickname that was used in reference to members of the SDP at the time “Sozi” (short for Sozialisten). “Nazi” was a political pun, based upon the Austro-Bavarian slang word for “simpleton” or “country bumpkin”, and derived from the fairly common name Ignatz. It would be like saying “nutsy”. So, if for no other reason, one should easily understand why the term was regarded as derogatory by the National Socialists and why they would never use it to describe themselves. One should also see why it would be used and popularized by Marxist-Bolshevik agitators and understand how it was seized upon by various other political opponents and subversive types, both within Germany and abroad, including the international media and political leaders of the western powers.”
What we must also know about Mr. Heiden, however, is that he was not just any other political opponent in the days of the Weimar Republic. He, himself was a “Jew”, and his father was a trade unionist, and that the trade unions were teaming with subversive, violent, Marxist-Bolsheviks.

More cass sunstein disinfo being promulgated by lazy subversive sept 8 2:59 poster. . The Nazis used the term ‘Nazi’ themselves in their own newspapers like ‘der angriff’. Goebbles himself wrote a work called ‘The Nazi-Sozi’. Search for ‘a nazi travels to palestine der angriff’–thus refuting the lie that the Nazis didn’t use the word to describe themselves. The Jews & their cass sunstein internet agents concocted this ‘nazi’ word ploy to divert whites onto idiotic issues.

“Simon Smith–are you siding with “the Working Class”? There are two things wrong with that: the Jews favour Class War over Race War, and the Working Class need to clean house big-time. I am not even particularly siding with them against the rich.”
I’m siding with the truth. The working class have been the biggest grouping and lowest wealth demographic. They have been on the receiving end of injustice. Some of it self-inflicted, it has to be said. In so far as “siding” is concerned, personally, I tend to empathise with those suffering the mental anguish of injustice than physical hardship. Because for me, injustice is the fundamental crime.
It is true the international Jews have leveraged dissatisfaction to their own end; case in point, Russia. That there are genuine grievances USED for the politicking of a group wanting to ride on it, should not be denied. Indeed, we have lately seen grievances arising from mass immigration that will probably be milked by agents hoping to control both sides of the debate.
The reason for wealth disparities historically has been the monopoly of land ownership sanctified by tradition, and the usurpation of the prerogative to issue money in the last three hundred years or so. They are interrelated. Suffice to say, I can recommend a forthcoming publication — God-willing — of quite some length that addresses this to answer you at length. If modesty allows, I will announce it in due course.
The problem with e.g. Karl Marx, was he did not single out land as a unique factor of production; he conflated it with capital. And if that wasn’t enough, the distortion of physical capital from financial capital caused by the usurpation of the money prerogative has brought in other obfuscations. To my sorrow, the work of American economist Henry George goes unknown now. His magnum opus was “Progress And Poverty”. He inspired the likes of Tolstoy in preRevolutionary Russia and the nationalist faction in China after the emperor was deposed. We know that communism and Marx “inspired” TPTB who preside over the hijacking of public sentiment in Russia and China. Karl Marx’s political economy is rambling rubbish, but he was capable of the occasional nugget of wisdom on social issues IMO.
Suffice to say, the hijacking of the masses in Russia and China occasioned a simplistic initial redistribution of land followed by later collectivisations. The working classes had fallen for the Child Catcher’s promise of sweets, and as you inferred, became the partial architects of their own demise. Henry George’s 1879 solution was a land value tax scheme. He argued that wages were the right of the worker, the profits of capital in its unconflated sense with land, belonged to the provider, but rent from land — not to be conflated for returns on capital fixtures — belongs to the community as a whole. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything therein”…
I do not have an overly sentimental regard for the working class because of the stupidity to jump in with the Child Catcher – to get that winter fuel allowance and sod immigration. I might add that when I ended my political activism, my disregard for mass political cognisance, I found epitomised by Gary Cooper — High Noon —throwing his tin star in the dust in disgust at the townsfolk who would not come to his aid when he needed them. I’m not a very sympathetic person, yet the abstraction of injustice that should be remedied, I do find compelling.
As always Lewis, a short comment is ALWAYS subject to qualification, but longer ones become legal documents…or books… With my shorter comments I always hope that the nature of my other posts supplies some context that might otherwise not cause me to be misunderstood.
