Russia will sink Britain under a nuclear tidal wave and reduce the US to radioactive ash if NATO sends troops into Ukraine, Vladimir Putin‘s most senior propagandist has vowed.

‘Then everything [all types of missile] would be launched by us, in every direction – Sarmats [Satan-2s], Yars, and Avangards.
‘American decision-making centres, and launchers on land and at sea are already in their sights.
‘France as a nuclear power will have to be disarmed instantly. The British Isles will simply go under water.
‘There are technologies for this….but it’s better not to let things get to that point.’
He claimed: ‘This is not propaganda. In our programme ten years ago, in 2014, we said – possibly, for the first time – that guaranteed retribution was inevitable.
‘Do not drive Russia into a corner. Russia is the only country in the world that is truly capable of turning the United States into radioactive ash.’

Hypersonic Sarmat – or Satan-2 – is the world’s biggest ballistic missile, a 208-ton 15,880mph doomsday intercontinental nuclear weapon, the size of a 14-storey tower block.
It is hailed by Putin as ‘unstoppable’, attacking the West after flying into space over the south or north pole.
Nuclear-capable hypersonic missile complex Avangard delivers missiles to targets at 27 times the speed of sound.
Yars missiles are currently the main element of the ground-based component of the Russian strategic nuclear force.
The Mach 25 missiles have a range of up to 7,500 miles, enabling a strike on the US.
However Sarmet, Avangard and another Kiselyov favourite Poseidon are not yet deployed despite being hyped by Putin.
Kiselyov has previously threatened that Britain could be drowned by Russia’s underwater Poseidon weapon.
It ‘approaches the target at a one kilometre depth with the speed of 200 kilometres per hour [125mph].There is no way to stop this underwater drone. It has a warhead with a capacity of up to 100 megatons.
‘The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo close to Britain’s shores will raise a giant wave, a tsunami.’
He said: ‘This tidal wave is also a carrier of extremely high doses of radiation. Surging over Britain, it will turn what is probably left of them into radioactive desert. Permanently unusable for anything.’

Of course, the main reason the U.S. generally cannot “win” its wars, i.e. achieve its ostensible political objectives, is because its wars are generally unjust wars of aggression. It’s tough to win when you’re fighting an unjust, unpopular and costly war of aggression against a determined enemy that’s defending their homeland against imperialist invaders.

The problem is the American soldiers were expendable. TPTB weren’t bothered about them. Winning or losing was not the reason for the engagement. If you were to go to the theatre to see Henry V every night, I guarantee the French would lose every time. The theatre will make a profit though.
Perloff suggests that Vietnam initiative was orchestrated by the more internationalist Democrats in order to play into the hands of the Republican “Trumpsters” of the day. To wit, a “fight against those commie bastards” that would discredit something of a growing internal realisation of the internationalist takeover of the US state. Unfortunately as in Britain, patriotic movements have been confused by imperialism conflating with nationalism. Nationalist movements in the UK always seemed to wallow in the nostalgia of the Kosher British Empire, although the more intellectually based nationalist have tried to warn against this probable deep state “steering”. The same thing happened with 9/11 when many idealists joined the American military to fight phantom foreign enemies when the enemy was within.
That there were “communist spies” in the USA during the days of the Cold War is a given, but the important thing is, they were more internationalist – at least at the highest level. The charge of communism for insiders of the US administration is IMO, misleading. True, there were bone fide idiots like the Rosenbergs, but even though Jewish, they were patsies for the “narrative” that needed to be developed. There is, and was, a load of money in the nuke business.

All of us are naturally ill disposed to being bullied into believing things. And on the subject where we have fallen out, nukes. I recommend a video of someone who is something of a halfway house between “nukes being fake”, and “nukes being universal”. The gentlemen has suggested only the USA has nukes. The presentation is a little old school, but that’s fine. Among other things, Ralph Epperson mentions the “passing on of atom bomb secrets” by the Roosevelt father and son, confounding the ostensible reason for the executions of the Rosenbergs. The Roosevelt book is called “A Family Matter” by James Roosevelt.

There is an “immediate thrill” for everyone who posts here. We all might bask a little, but the real work IMHO is when we quietly shift some of our previous positions. When testosterone and adrenaline are not flooding our system, we can view the world anew. TTS is something of an oasis that I am very glad of.
