The U.S. approval for Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands to transfer 65 F-16s and support equipment may come a little too late to save the regime in Kiev.
For it will be some time before the pilots are trained, the support equipment is in place and all the F-16s are transferred. By which time Russia may have taken Odessa and consolidated its air defenses over eastern Ukraine.
That’s why Putin is confident when he says that the planes won’t change things on the battlefield.
Nonetheless 65 F-16s still represent a substantial increase in air power. Many countries do not have as many front line fighter jets. Yet Ukraine has just been gifted with three full squadrons, complete with pilot training and support equipment.
However, the transfer is really significant insofar as the Kremlin will see it as confirmation that the West wants to destroy Russia. Or at least, that’s how it will be presented to the Russian public. That’s because the F-16s can carry nuclear munitions, and they will likely be deployed to airfields in western Ukraine. At a stretch this will put them within striking distance of Moscow.
In effect, the West is setting up a replay of the Cuban missile crisis, only this time using Western aligned proxies to target Moscow with nuclear weapons.
Moreover, even if the F-16s are flown from airbases outside Ukraine, those countries hosting the Ukrainian F-16s will become legitimate targets, says Putin.
So even though Ukrainians have been badly mauled on the battlefield, the West hasn’t finished using them as proxies.
Russia has prevailed for now but its fight with the West may be far from over. What we’ve seen so far in Ukraine may only be the opening rounds in a much bigger conflict. Ed.

The Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives evaluated a series of notifications during the month of February proposing the transfer of 65 F-16A/B Fighting Falcon MLU fighter jets from Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands to Ukraine. Despite the mentioned countries expressing their intention to donate the aircraft, the estimated cost of the initiatives amounts to USD 1.683.5 billion, including spare engines, simulators, manuals, tools, and various materials for operating and sustaining the F-16s.
From the summary of the Foreign Affairs Committee, it is revealed that Denmark will make available six F-16 Block 10, thirteen F-16 Block 15 aircraft, additional engines, and support equipment. The transfer is valued at USD 87.5 million. It is worth noting that the Danish government has not only been one of the promoters of the initiative to provide F-16s to Ukraine but is also one of the few countries training pilots and technical personnel.
Regarding the Danish F-16s, the Defense Ministers of Argentina and the Nordic country recently signed a letter of intent for the purchase of 24 F-16A/B MLU aircraft, an acquisition process that is expected to be formalized in the coming weeks with the signing of a contract. The Royal Danish Air Force upgraded a total of 61 F-16A/B aircraft to the MLU standard, a fleet that was reduced to about 44 aircraft a few years ago and is being replaced by 5th generation F-35A Lightning II fighters.
In the case of Norway, the transfer includes up to 22 F-16 Block 10/15 aircraft, engines, support equipment, test benches, tools, maintenance materials, simulators, spare parts, manuals, and technical documents, among others. The document mentions that the original acquisition value is approximately USD 1.326 billion. Norway has made available a couple of F-16s for the training of Ukrainian crews, while also forming a core group of instructors to support the Danish effort.

Doctors made “catastrophic errors” when it referred a teenager with mental health problems to the controversial Tavistock clinic, an inquest heard. Jason Pulman was born a girl but had depression during her menstrual cycle and had a history of self-harm, which was not spotted by the Harbour Medical Practice in Eastbourne when it referred the teenager to the Gender Identity Development Service (Gids) run by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in north London.It meant Jason, who had a history of depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, was placed on a 26-month waiting list at Gids, a controversial service which, before it closed last year, referred children for puberty blockers. Before the treatment by Gids could begin, the 15-year-old was found dead in a park in East Sussex on April 19 2022.An inquest into Jason’s death this week has raised questions about how a teenager with severe mental health problems, including multiple suicide attempts, was referred for gender-affirming treatment.It comes as a landmark report by Dr Hillary Cass, a paediatrician, is set to advise that children should not be rushed on to a path to change gender, and that those who believe they are transgender may actually have mental health issues. In the inquest at Hastings Coroner’s Court on Tuesday, Nick Armstrong KC, representing the Pulman family, said Harbour Medical Practice’s referral to Gids was “really awful”. He also said the surgery made “catastrophic errors” in its referral of the 15-year-old to the controversial Tavistock clinic It t also emerged at the inquest that Dr Idango Adoki, a GP at the practice, had not read or been informed about the report before it was sent to the Tavistock centre, despite his name appearing on the form. I know little of Norway, but the other two I chiefly know of as having pioneered the legalisation of Child Pornography in the case of Denmark and Drugs in the case of the Netherlands.
This is to say, ‘pioneering’ in terms of Europe – non-Western countries don’t generally tolerate this kind of thing.

The Jew-Ruled west doesn’t get it. After the Jew-Coup in 2014, NATO built up Ukraine’s military for 8 years, Big-Time. it was the most powerful military in Europe. Russia dismantled it, along with the subsequent 3 Armies cobbled togeter with more weapons & Billions of dollars from the Jew-west.
At this point, even if the F-16s were deliverer tomorrow & Ukrainian pilots were fully trained, the Russians would shoot them from the sky in no time.
