Russia’s Defense Ministry said Wednesday that more than 100,000 people have signed up to fight as contract soldiers in the war against Ukraine so far this year.
“Over the past week and a half, recruitment points have seen a significant increase in the number of people interested in signing contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry in order to take part in the special military operation,” the ministry said in a statement, using the Kremlin’s preferred term for its full-scale invasion.
It added that “around 16,000 citizens” had signed military contracts over the past 10 days alone, with “most candidates” saying they were motivated to “avenge those killed” in the Crocus City Hall attack late last month.
Top Russian officials have accused Ukraine and its Western allies of being partly responsible for the March 22 attack outside of Moscow, which claimed the lives of more than 140 people and left hundreds more wounded. Islamic State affiliate ISIS-K has said it was responsible for the massacre, while Kyiv and the West have denied any involvement.
Since the spring of 2023, Russia’s Armed Forces have carried out a mass campaign to promote contract service. Experts describe the drive as an attempt to address the military’s growing manpower shortage in Ukraine while also trying to avoid any public backlash that would likely arise from a new round of mobilization.
The Kremlin reportedly sought to recruit 400,000 soldiers from across Russia in 2023. According to some reports, citing anonymous sources, Russian officials hope to recruit a similar number of contract soldiers in 2024.
In October, former president Dmitry Medvedev said 305,000 men had signed military contracts and 80,000 had enlisted as volunteer fighters.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had said in late 2023 that the number of contract servicemen should be increased to 521,000 by the end of that year, and ultimately, to 695,000.
I was watching Survival Russia yesterday and Lars (used to be Danish, & military) said there’s no mobilisation, there’s no need for it, as 30,000 are signing up off their own bat.
It is a total contrast to the Nazi West where they can’t recruit, and there’s even a strong feeling that they’ve no desire to fight for a failing Nazi West.
Someone said yesterday that using the phrases ‘Nazi & Jew’ were counter productive and allowed them to cover their tracks.
Well, before this war in Gaza, I would say using, or focusing on Jews was negative, but now they’re engaging in some terrible stuff, so this is the time to ca them out.
I was the one to start calling the West a Nazi operation. This isn’t enabling them to cover up anything. There’s untold thicko sheeple who needs to know this, even if it’s just hanging in the recesses of their tiny minds.
It’s not Just Israel and UKraine, the Nazis are hating on China, North Korea, who wanted a deal, they hate much of Africa, and Iran, and the Nazi Brits even hate their mates in Western Europe. Its like your neighbour gets a promotion, a new car, and marries some hot chick and you then hate them. This is what the collapsing West is doing.
Russia selling oil and gas, wasn’t like the Middle East, where the deal was, you buy worthless US paper, buy arms, and come to the Nazi West where you blow your money and fuck the prostitutes so the Nazi UK regime can use the estimated vice revenues to inflate GDP. Russia was never going to be another Saudi Arabia, and even the Saudis are bailing out.
The west isn’t playing the usual game whereby somebody wins a war after which the peace is signed, the dead are buried then everybody goes home. As they won’t allow Russia to win then Russia is being left no option but to crush us and leave some of us just grateful to be alive.
I don’t think there will be a Cold War II. America was the driving force behind Cold War I one not Russia, and after this conflict is done and the dust settles America will have to put its hand up to go pee.

NAZI is an acronym. It stands for something specific.
It stands for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
So if you are talking about members of a specific Political Organisation that existed within a defined historical period, than no reasonable person could object to the use of the acronym NAZI as applied to them, if that is indeed whom the Writer is referring to.
Likewise, there can be no reasonable objection to using the term neo-nazis, if what you are referring to are the genuine Ukrainian neo-nazis that Putin refers to – and that the BBC’s proudly Jewish Moscow Correspondent Steve ‘Nazi-denier’ Rosenberg insists don’t exist.

This doesn’t even make sense in Carl Jones own Universe – practically every ‘Thicko Sheeple’ Western European nation is allied to Britain as part of NATO.
