If so many Ukrainians weren’t dying this would be a joke. But with thousands of dead and injured this is no laughing matter.
Only four months ago UK military chief Admiral Sir Tony Radakin told a British parliamentary committee that Russia was now “so weak” that it could no longer wage a military counteroffensive of its own.
Now he’s saying that the Ukrainian counteroffensive has stalled because Russian defences were stronger than anticipated.
That’s a big turnaround in just four months. So either Radakin was arrogantly underestimating Russia’s military capacity when he said that it was all but exhausted. Or he was seriously misinformed. Either way, Radakin’s initial assessment has led to the deaths of tens of thousands of Ukrainians who were ordered to continue offensive operations.
That’s because advice from the likes of Admiral Sir Tony Radakin probably contributed to President Zelensky’s insistence that the Ukrainian counteroffensive continue. Thereby leading to the unnecessary slaughter of young Ukrainian conscripts.
And make no mistake, an epic bloodbath is unfolding in Ukraine. According to recent Russian Ministry of Defense estimates, more than 17,000 Ukrainian conscripts were killed so far this September alone. That’s more than 500 a day killed, and that’s not counting the wounded or those who have lost limbs.
To put that into perspective for western readers: U.S. killed in action during the entire Vietnam War totalled 58,281.
So in less than one month the Ukrainians have sustained almost 30 percent of the casualties that U.S. forces did in the entire Vietnam War.
So why isn’t the Western mainstream reporting this?
That’s because the West is fuelling this bloodbath with arms and ordnance and if Westerners realised how they are sustaining this conflict they might demand their governments withhold this support.
Consequently, the compliant western MSM devotes very little coverage to Ukrainian casualties. Instead, every minor Ukrainian advance is reported as if it were a potential major breakthrough; even if it is only an advance of a few hundred meters, which in most cases it is.
So Ukrainian conscripts are dying by the thousand, while the Western media continues to hide the fact and misrepresent what’s actually happening on the ground. Ed.
Russian defenses stronger than expected – UK military chief

Russia’s defensive lines have proven to be more resilient than the West had initially anticipated, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the chief of the British Defense Staff has admitted, noting that the Russia-Ukraine conflict could drag on for some time.
Speaking on ‘War on the Rocks,’ an American podcast, the military official stressed that the West must be “very careful of rushing to easy judgments” about Kiev’s counteroffensive and stated that expectations about what Ukraine’s forces can achieve in the near future should be “adjusted.”
Radakin pointed out that at the start of Kiev’s summer counteroffensive, it was still looking for more equipment and ammunition, the lack of which had impacted the operation. There was also the issue of incorrect assessments of Russia’s strengths. “In actuality, some of those Russian defenses have been stronger than first anticipated,” the admiral said.
Nevertheless, Radakin claimed that Kiev was “grinding through and making progress.” To that end, he insisted that Kiev’s Western backers must continue supporting Ukraine, as its ability to prevail in the conflict depended on it being able to outlast Russia.
“It’s the military that wins battles, but it’s the economics and that sustainability that tends to win wars,” he said.
When addressing the challenges surrounding the counteroffensive’s limited success, the admiral cited the current hindrances faced by Ukrainian generals. These challenges primarily included managing a diverse range of military vehicles within their forces and addressing concerns related to the insufficient training of their soldiers.
“[Kiev’s] force is not a professional soldiers’ force; it’s a citizen army,” Radakin said, noting that there’s a “humility and sobering element” to the fact that it is yet unclear how to get a citizen army to fight in a way that could overcome Russian defenses.
Ukraine launched its offensive in early June but has so far failed to gain significant ground, losing many Western-supplied tanks and armored vehicles.
This week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Kiev’s forces had lost over 17,000 service members and more than 2,700 pieces of military equipment in September. Earlier this month, the ministry also claimed that Kiev’s forces had suffered 66,000 casualties and lost over 7,600 pieces of heavy equipment since the start of the counteroffensive operation.

Can I just explain a little bit about Russian defensive lines in UKraine. There are three lines, often many miles apart. There are deep tank traps, there are above ground tank traps, and there are countless mines all over the place. If the Nazis want to even attempt to defeat one point, they need to use military bulldozers. These are destroyed. These lines are designed to be foot soldier porous. They idea is to entice the Nazi rats to their death, which is guaranteed.

My big worry is that they don’t have 238,000 Nazis to slaughter. So this brings me to my last point. The US will have to put boots on the ground in UKraine. This is the only way to delay the Nazi defeat and get Biden, or get his hand picked Nazi successor into the White House.
Oh, one last point. A judge has made a civilian ruling that Trump committed fraud by using incorrect valuations. Let’s just remember. Banks and financial institutions do this every second of the day. Every Nazi house seller does this, and estate agents do it, car sellers do it, and so do all businesses do it. They lie and rip of each other. Fractional reserve lending is borrowing many, many times your actual assets. For City Crime Cartels, there’s no limits on what you can borrow. In the US it’s regulated at 2.5 x your asset. As a peasant’son and not aware of military strategy I new that Russia has multiple level electronic, and non, systems deployed in Syria. So Mr. Radakin should have known that he was telling rubbish to the people. He probably is either a layer or, most probably, incompetent man. While I agree with your overall analysis, I think you missed Radakin’s mental gymnastics. In the first instance, he was talking about an “offense”, but the second reference was to “defense”. Until recently, there has been very little Russian “offense”. Why attack when the other side wants to commit suicide by attacking your defenses? Therefore the perception of a “weakness”. As with virtually everything in (((the Western liberal democracies))) when it comes to Russia, the plans/predictions/expectations are pulled out of their collective rectum, because these idiots believe that Russians (Chinese, Iranians, etc.) think like they do.

My parents, born in the first decade of the last century, referred to them as Galicians, and complained a minority of them adamantly refused to integrate. More of this type arrived in the 1920s after the end of the Russian Revolution, which raged until 1922 in the areas partitioned to the USSR post WWI. The crazies were dong their thing then, as well. There is an area of my province that the integrated Ukrainians jokingly refer to as “the old country”. It is chok-a-blok full of these people. There is nothing “Nazi” about them beyond being nationalist.

In the 80’s I was officer in one of the NATO countries. There was a threshold impossible to pass between officer and higher officer if you had a heart, Everyone had to pass written AND oral exams. In the written exams one just needed to show one was not stupid. But in the oral exams, interrogated by at least three examinators at the same time, The candidate was tested to determine if he was enough of a sociopath, showing absolute lack of conscience or care for human beings, and pledging 100% subservience and intended obedience to all and any stupid or evil orders coming from above. The willingness to lie on command being a substantial condition for promotion. No surprise Admiral Radakin said what he said.

I, too, find Carl Jones’s constant nazi-ing very irritating, particularly because he points it all over the place, no matter how diverse his targets. Besides, I think the Nationalist position the only decent one from the member of a nation. And it is that ideological concept that is constantly derided, especially by Jews.
Incidentally, President Putin ‘nazi-es’ quite a bit too. But he always refers to the Hitlerite Nationalists, past and present. Yet he is himself a dedicated Nationalist: a Russian Nationalist, aka a Patriot.
