Russia already produces nearly identical weapon systems so they can compare and see how the other guy does it, find weak spots in the armor, etc. The real advantage comes from studying the electronics, and how to defeat the enemies computers on the battlefield. Russia has aircraft that have a wonder weapon which shuts down the electronics on US ships.
So if you spent your life in Russian tanks, you will immediately see the differences, advantages, disadvantages of the other nation’s tanks. They will have the tankers drive them, and figure out the best strategies to engage them.
The USAF keeps a whole squadron of captured/bought MiGs at Nellis AFB for their Red Flag training exercises, top gun pilots fly those against the ones in training.
This is all so silly because also at Nellis, at an area called S4, the DOD has a dozen captured flying saucers which are being reversed engineered. See the Bob Lazar material.
But for some reason, we are not seeing the anti-grav black triangles in combat.
They are keeping the Direct Energy weapons under wraps too. Been using them operationally since 2007.
