Untrue stories exist at each end of Jewish history’s three thousand years – fictional, fabricated and of immense magnitude. We may start in the tenth century BCE, where archaeologists have after diligent study found no trace of King Solomon, his Temple or his empire. Half a century of intensive excavation of the Holy Land has now reached that conclusion. The alleged mighty empire of David and Solomon, stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates – on the basis of which the modern state of Israel was formed – did not exist. Meanwhile the Bible makes no mention of the great empire of Egypt, which really did in that period stretch from the Nile to the Euphrates. These things must be relegated to storyland, like Moses parting the Red Sea. Experts were finally attaining this negative conclusion as the new millennium dawned, e.g. –

Moses, Wikipedia assures us, is just a myth. ‘The Exodus’, traditionally the basis of Jewish self-identity and the most-told narrative in the western world,[1] spawns great conferences which tend to end up with the same threefold negation:
- no evidence for the Children of Israel in Egypt or escaping therefrom,
- no evidence of their trekking across the Sinai desert
- no evidence of them storming into Canaan and conquering the locals.
In modern times, Jews were given land in Palestine and called it ‘Israel.’ Inspired by a great hope, their conviction was that archaeology would validate their epic history, as it had unfolded through past millennia. They went to work with a trowel in one hand and the Bible in the other but received a big shock. The Holy Land did indeed reveal to them centuries of devout monotheism during the time recorded by their ancient scriptures – but, it was a reverence for the Goddess, as shown by the thousands of figurines dug up everywhere in Judea where they excavated. They were all similar with head, torso and large naked breasts.[2] Nor could any trace be discerned of a fierce invasion of Canaan by the Children of Israel as their texts averred, plus the odd record of their Jehovah-god had him with a partner, his ‘Asherath.’
It was discovered that, in the tenth century BCE there had been an intensive drought (the ‘Mycenaean Drought’ which spread across the whole Eastern Mediterranean, lasting for a couple of centuries, which caused many farms and villages to be abandoned. Jerusalem, built on a mountain, had little by way of water supply or fertile land and may well have then been uninhabited, or at best it was a small village selling olives – that’s all. It had no king because there were no kingdoms. Only a century later did the little kingdoms in Canaan – viz. Judea, Ephraim, Samaria/Israel, Moab and Edom, etc. – start to develop, as the drought eased off and the grip of Egypt’s empire weakened. The main cities having temples were then Samaria and Megiddio but not Jerusalem – the latter only grew into the thriving capital city of Judea a few centuries later.
Ancient Israel was sometimes called Samaria and the Assyrians alluded to it as the land of Omri or Omrides, king Omri being its first king. ‘Israel’ may have been more the name of a people than a nation-state. As a region West of the river Jordan – south of Galilee and north of Ephraim and Judea – it was wiped out forever in 720 BCE after it made the mistake of challenging the mighty Assyrian empire. Israel was defeated and absorbed by the Assyrian army, then Hebrews started moving south to Judea which grew strong and prosperous.
Hebrew scriptures told of a brutal god:
Anything devoted to destruction is most holy to the Lord
(Leviticus 27:28) and gave heroic-but-fictional accounts of the wiping out cities, slaying of armies, grabbing the loot, etc., with a god constantly reassuring them that they were the apple of His eye and inherently superior to other peoples.
That narrative, whereby they were chosen, has been disintegrating during the 20th century. The hope at the foundation of modern Israel is in the process of self-extinguishing, as the full implications of the whole history-that-never-happened continue to unfold. The learned opus by professor Shlomo Sand, The Invention of the Jewish People, well reviewed this process of self-knowledge, a process of cultural implosion, of apprehending that which had not historically existed.
Jews today hardly believe any longer in the god of Deuteronomy or Leviticus. To quote the view of a modern Egyptologist:
The rules he [Yahweh] laid down … were draconian in the extreme, and the deity’s will utterly barbaric. Alien groups whose actions or even presence were deemed in opposition to Israel are consigned to genocidal slaughter at the behest of Yahweh (Exod. 17:14; Num. 31; 1 Sam. 15:3); even fraternization with foreigners brings the plague (Num. 25:9, 18). Anyone who dissents Yahweh burns up (Num. 11:1-3; 16:35); anyone who complains he strikes with plague (Num. 11:33; 14:37; 16:49), or sends poisonous snakes after (Num. 21:6). Aberrant cultic practices, even though indulged in innocently, bring death (Exod. 32:35; Num. 15 :37-40).[3]
With belief in their Yahweh god fading, can their collective identity endure?
The science of genetics looked as if it would come to the rescue, and the search for an ‘Abraham gene’ was on. Or, would it merely show that European Jews had come from Khazaria, an empire on the steppes of Russia which broke up in the tenth century, as Arthur Koestler had argued?[4] Koestler’s thesis remains moderately credible, though the historical record is scant: ‘Khazaria collapsed some time before the first indications of the presence of Jews in Eastern Europe, and it is difficult not to connect he two.” (Sand, p.246)
As regards the genetic studies, Shlomo Sand reckoned that, “The bottom line is that, after all the costly ‘scientific’ endeavors, a Jewish individual cannot be defined by any biological criteria whatsoever.” (Sand, p.278) Modern Israel had become, Sand concluded,
‘a state whose main purpose is to serve, not a civil-egalitarian demos, but a biological-religious ethnos that is wholly fictitious. (p.307)
He was doubtful, as to whether that could endure.
Jews have always had a strong collective being. As an intellectual and cosmopolitan people they tend to lack an inherent connection to a land, a country, a geography. Their self-perception is a continual merry-go-round as to whether they exist as a race, nation or religion. The Hebrew script does extend right back to the 8th century BCE being one of the very first alphabetical scripts and the only one that has endured for so long. It is their story which unfolds over millennia that confers upon them their ‘we,’ binding them together. Their power comes from getting others to believe it.
Today, excitement thrums around the so-called Temple Mount in Jerusalem where Jews plan to build the Third Temple. Surely they cannot do so because no ‘First Temple’ ever existed, no temple was ever built on that site.[5] No Hebrew temple was built at the top of a mountain, whereas the Romans always built their forts at the highest point of a locality. That large, flat surface of 35 acres was built as the site of the Roman Tenth Legion and has amazingly lasted for two thousand years. There never was a Temple of Solomon or ruins thereof on it or underneath it.[6] That wall the Jews pray to is the side of a fort where dwelt the Tenth Legion – the one that helped to wipe out a million Jews[7] in 70 AD.
This could be a time for Christians to pay attention to the verse “Do not believe the stories of the Jews’ (Titus 1:14).
Comparing the land of Israel as it was formed in 1949 (see map) with the ancient land, one notes with amusement that the so-called ‘West Bank’ area, where ancient Israel did actually exist (see map) was excluded! That indicates a degree of historical confusion. Also, how come they got to claim that large chunk of the Sinai desert, nowhere near either ancient Israel or Judea?

Three millennia later, we arrive at a comparably massive untruth. The story of the Holocaust served to confer upon Jews their special ‘chosen’ identity in the 20th century. It came to the rescue, by employing a dualism whereby the Nazis of WW2 were Evil, and the Jews whom they targeted were Good. That Manichean dualism of good-versus-evil was established at the post-war Nuremberg trials, since when it has been promulgated relentlessly through the entertainment industry. If Jews had been rounded up by the evil Nazis, then by that modern secular criterion they could re-emerge as the Chosen Ones. It’s quite simple, just watch Stephen Spielberg.

Towards the end of the 20th century as belief in the origin stories was fading away, the Holohoax morphed into a fearsome modern religion, in which belief is compulsory. As a passport of identity it confers upon Jews a unity and reinforces their special status. Nowadays a mere statue of Anne Frank can conjure up the narrative.
How great an effect does such an untruth exert upon our world! As a science historian I appeal for a recognition of the way in which normal hygiene technology did then operate, in the German labour-camps.[9] Debate on this topic is prohibited because the Establishment knows that it will lose the argument. As to why they need to hang onto it, let us have the courage to answer that question.
Certainly, in WW2 the deadly Nazi cyanide gas chambers were most efficient and they killed millions. Yes. They killed millions of bugs, not jews. Is it not time Jews stopped trying to confuse themselves with bugs? It is undignified. Because of their high IQ their continual claim that it was they, not bugs, that the Zyklon killed continues to warp our whole culture.
Take the fact that around 40% of labour-camp inmates were Jewish. That is unbearable, and why is it unbearable? We are not allowed to discuss it even though it comes from public-domain information.[10] It is unbearable because it would destroy the ‘chosen’ status of Jews. They comprised less than half of the camp inmates. But that would mean they were no longer special. Whereas, it is OK to say that homosexuals were rounded up and likewise doomed to go into the ‘death camps.’ They are allowed to share the virtue of being rounded up by Ze Evil Nazis. They can participate in the fictional narrative because they would be very few in relation to the Jews and so their imaginary presence would not invalidate the holy, sacred doom of the Jews.
Or, take another simple fact: mortality of Jews in the camps was on average no different from other inmates, i.e. overall, they died at much the same rate. It is (I suggest) preferable to avoid giving numbers, so relentless has been the mental programming in that realm. People have padlocked minds and you’ll only get a short soundbite on the matter, if that. Nonetheless if humanity wants a constructive future it needs to endure open discussion on this topic, painful though it may be. Let’s be crystal-clear that the Revisionist is going to win any such debate. Try this for a short soundbite: ‘More Catholics than Jews died at Auschwitz.’[11] Simple facts like this could (I suggest) be effective. Or if you prefer to avoid using the J-word, how about: nobody died of gas in WW2; or maybe: ‘Large human gas chambers have never existed in human history .’ Such simple affirmations can clear away fear and horror. Or, an allusion to the colour pink should be fairly non-threatening, maybe? Try saying, ‘Shame they got the colour wrong’. Death by cyanide leaves a bright pink body, a result of its oxygen-denial mechanism and there was not a single allusion to a pink corpse in any German labour-camp made at Nuremberg,[12] or anywhere else. Bad science – they got the colour wrong! Or, try this short quip used by Kevin Barrett: Once Zyklon started to be introduced into the German labour-camps, in the summer of 1942, mortality went down, not up.
These soundbites are short enough that you might just be able to get them in before the key of the mental padlock is turned.[13]
Christians need to apprehend that it is not a virtue to believe in that which never existed. That won’t save your soul. At both ends of the amazing three-thousand years of Jewish history are tremendous phantoms, imaginations which we the Goyim have been led to believe. That which never was, which never had existence is inscribed as fact in books the whole world over. We need a collective therapy experience of discussing What Really Happened. Only the power of Truth can save us now. Are we capable of that?
Judaism we may conclude must inevitably self-terminate in this 21st century, simply because of the intellectual power of modern Jews, who cannot hope to avoid seeing how their identity-defining narratives have disintegrated. They were tremendous stories, but were never true.

TPTB have managed the “Holocaust” narrative well over several decades. I observed twenty years ago that while the religious article of faith known as such would persist, the evidence for genocidal gas chambers caused elements of the story to disappear. e.g. being divided into two lines, the shower story, guards throwing in Zyklon B through the ceiling, and pyramids of dead bodies.
As such it is not a topic for debate but an article of faith. That faith is needed in order to maintain an “us” against “them” view of the world and unity of sorts. It’s what nation states have done in order to justify the accumulation of surplus by leaders who “defend” the people from outsiders.
I notice that BBC4 is about to show Bronowski’s 1973 “Ascent of Man” series. I recall a later programme give the established view of the “Holocaust”. It might be worth trying to catch this in order to see how the narrative was then and compare it with the “understanding” that is circulated now. There is a story to do with the “Holocaust” : it’s how the given accounts have morphed over the last sixty years or more…

“What no one talks about is how the so-called “Holy” Bible has unleashed hell on earth. It is almost as if the devil, himself, wrote it. The children of Israel were warned (as are we all now even today) to NOT “bend the knee to Ba’al” and what the consequences are for doing so. As for denying the existence of David and Solomon, I know better than to fall for that outright error. I do my own research. I “put not my trust in man” as directed. I also no simpleton who “puts faith in every word”, but one that “relies not upon mine own understanding” as well as “testing the spirits”. I ask again. What is the point being made in this wordy emptiness? Jesus LIVES!!!!!

You can not, which is why we are doomed until the whole evil loop gets so out of control it blows up in the faces of the perps – which is why Israel and the Jewusa are doomed.
What Nick Kollerstrom brings up, is that the OT is a fable, a fictitious history. Well that means the NT must also be fiction, because the NT can not exist without the OT. Jesus came to fulfill all the bullshit in the OT, but that was not true and neither is he. But no one cares about that because, you see, they are damned determined to get into heaven no matter how many people they have to kill in their self created end times. Some day when this is all over, people will look back on these times with complete contempt for what we did in the name of god.
This is my third post, is why any of this is even possible. First of all you are in hell, some evil malevolent force created humans and put us on this god forsaken planet. And since we are not like all the other animals, not part of Nature, but some artificial creation of the malevolent gods, the EloHIM, we must slave away and work for a living instead of just existing like all other animals in nature. I had occasion to refer to King Omri, in a comment posted just yesterday, though the contexts are different.
Omri was the sixth king of Israel, counting from Jeroboam I, son of Solomon.
Omri moved the Israelite capital to the city of Samaria but he was not the first “King of Samaria.” The Assyrians, during the dynastic succession of the House of Omri, (four kings reigning for a total of 48 years,) referred to Samaria as Bit Homri or the House of Omri. What’s interesting is that you sometimes see Omri spelt with an A, as Amri. This is because in Hebrew, the letter ayin is the first letter of Omri – yet, it is neither an A nor an O sound. Ayin is a gutteral; a sound like a slight gargle at the back of the mouth. Haven’t read that book but I have read much on Near Death Experiences, pros and cons. Rixon posts NDE stuff here regularly.
The NDE topic is hotly debated, and if we survive death we know nearly nothing on what happens, and there are all kinds of theories, like going to the light, getting memory erased, reincarnating, or a religious explanation about judgment.
What I have said all along, is if death is a gateway, why do we know so little about such an important event? Since I have no evidence anything happens, I default to the position that death is the end of your consciousness, which was some how animated by your life. My view on this topic is this, personal beliefs have effect on what happens after death, if anything, it is an automatic process that is outside of the realm of our myths.
What I mean specifically, a belief in Jesus, Krishna or Elvis has no bearing on what happens to your soul, which I very much doubt exists, because the soul was invented to explain how you survive death. What I wrote on this site and Darkmoon is that the soul is a complete fabrication of the priest to get his afterlife punishment theory to work.
If someone dies, you can see that they are dead, then they rot. So the body dies, no theist denies that (except those taken in by the resurrection at the end of the world – which they say our bones will come out of graves, etc.) Since it is obvious that the person is gone, then how did God judge that person? Ah, the priest says the person has a soul that goes on. So I hope you can see that afterlife judgment only works if you have a soul, a necessary component for the priest to control you in this life.
The game is to control you in this life. To do so, the priest, a theocratic charlatan, convinces you of some things, like God, judgment, afterlife, and soul. All those were invented, as there is no proof of them. No one has ever proved, God, soul, afterlife, or heaven or hell. See?
People spend their whole life obsessed with God and punishment, both unproven fabrications.

I can see why Atwill pisses you off, he has destroyed the authenticity of the Jesus story. Jesus never existed, and if you are paying attention to Nick Kollerstrom’ excellent article, if the Old Testament is fiction, then there is no need for Jesus. Jesus can only exist if the Old Testament is true, which it isn’t.

It is too bad you didn’t stop there. Worship, however, is not just based on suffering unless suffering is to include a void in us which cannot be filled with anything but God and his holiness. It is fundamentally an openness directed by a desire for unity with God which CANNOT be filled with riches, sensual pleasures, or asserting power over people or temporal things.
If you forget the your prejudices you can better understand what that sustaining power for worship is. It is found with Jews and Christians who are actually spiritual, some of whom use the psalms as one of their main prayer forms. An example is from Psalm 63:2-9, the Grail translation of which is as follows:
“O God, you are my God, for you I long;
for you my soul is thirsting.
My body pines for you
like a dry, weary land without water.
So I gaze on you in the sanctuary
to see your strength and your glory.
For your love is better than life,
my lips will speak your praise.
So I will bless you all my life,

Other faiths usually have a certain reverence in their temples signifying the same direction and likely there are similar writings expressing the same need and desire.
God is in one respect simply He who is, but to us he is that being in which the perfection of faith, goodness, beauty, hope, trust, love and justice are also one in the same person. Perhaps a futile quest for you, but to the spiritual person, He is the only one who has said, “Come to me.” He is the only one who can fill our deepest yearnings with holiness overflowing. We are to draw into our hearts his holiness in total trust and openness so that our souls may grow more and more in his likeness, simply because we were created as his children.
Too bad Jack that you missed the boat regarding what faith and worship is really about, but it is never to late to take a flying leap because there is always a hand to help you aboard.

I don’t think that challenging the credibility of Atwill (or Sitchen) is arrogant.
If what upset you, was my assertion that you are, essentially, trying to convince others of your ideas, as I suspect it is, then, perhaps you have a gripe. I don’t know what your motives are. I don’t hold, anyway, that reaching out to others is wrong. I would say that I can’t see how “presenting ideas for people to consider” differs very much from attempting to persuade them of ideas. After all, you would want for your arguments to be as convincing as possible for their fullest impact.
I didn’t claim that Heaven exists. I said that its existence cannot be proved or disproved by reasoning. That isn’t a logical fallacy.
I don’t like Atwill because I believe that he’s a disinformation agent, not because he threatens my world view. That’s just silly.
By the way, Richard Carrier, the mythicist and historian whose critique of Joseph Atwill I left a link to, is an atheist, who passionately believes that Jesus did not exist. I wonder, if you haven’t actually presumed that scholarly opposition to Atwill derives exclusively from a Christian injunction? Funny, I have no desire to merge with God. That claim we are empty without God is just a claim, because I am not experiencing that, and I am just like you, a human being. There is no void in me, if I need a relationship – a real one mind you – I find it with another human, or maybe my dog, but not some imaginary “god”.
My dog is real Fred, and your god is not.
Your god friend, this imaginary friend you seek, is yourself Fred. There is no god out there seeking you. You are like the movie … desperately seeking Fred. If god was real, a real personality, then it would be known what it is. But no one knows what god is Fred, because god is make believe – and if god is real, it is hiding from us, because as I have written – for what it did to us – the biggest sin of all time – creating life.

What you are describing Fred, is another human being, not some Ai monster that created this hellhole in which we suffer. God does not have human characteristics like the Bible says, God does not like the smell of burning flesh, because God is not human. The god who likes the smell of burning meat is a flesh and blood lifeform, possibly an Anunnaki or reptilian.
You say God is just, but take a look at our world, there is little justice, and God created the rules for life. Our world is ruled by monsters Fred, because that is the way God designed it. Our world has rules, it has physical constants, it has operating parameters, it is tooth and claw, powerful consume the weak, the fox eats the bird and so on. In our realm evil rules because that is the design baked into the cake as they say.
So if there is a designer, a Matrix Architect, an all knowing being, it would probably be sentient Ai, which was tasked to create a universe, which it did, and that was the greatest sin of all time, because there are infinite lifeforms on infinite worlds all suffering infinite spans of time. That entity is not what is being described in Psalm 63:2-9.

The problem with your argument, is that the only evidence we have is the material. There is no evidence for a soul, and science has looked for it, and can not find it, they even weighed people before and after death in a desperate bid to find something to validate the soul assertion.
What the soul is, is a theological assertion. I have explained this in dozens of essays, on Darkmoon, and here on this site, so here it is again:
When you die you are dead. But to control you with the afterlife delusion, the priest says you have a soul, that transcends death, goes on, to judgment, or if you are Hindu, to reincarnation.
The priest, being a control freak parasite, invented the soul because when you are dead, you are dead, and anyone can see that as plain as day. The priest says this invisible soul leaves the body and goes somewhere, to a place a priest invented to scare you so he could control you. Without the soul, the afterlife judgment thesis can not work. The priest MUST convince you of the SOUL for his guilt tripping to work.
Fred, being brainwashed by Christ insanity, and the Bible narrative, asserts the soul as real. Of course, that is part of his theology he must accept to be a Christian. But there is no evidence of the soul, so Fred can only assert and not prove. Get it? Fred dismisses the non-believer of not believing in a unprove theological assertion, he is playing a mind game, fooling himself with his own beliefs. But he has to, because his faith is on the line, and if he were to be honest, and say to himself I really don’t know if the soul is real, it would be devastating to his consciousness. And his religious memeplex has built in safeguards to stop logic and evidence attacks (look up Susan Blackmore and Dawkins explain how religions work).
No theist has ever proved Jesus, ancient Jews, afterlife, god, Yahweh, souls, judgment – yet those ideas are central to the Bible narrative. So do you see the problem, the whole world has been deluded by unproved theologies being used by the unscroupolous for control. And this mental insanity has cumulated in political Zionism and the state of Israel, which is terminal, as the author says.
If you think Zionism and Israel are evil and insane, then realize that is the morbid fruit of the Holy Bible festering in peoples minds for centuries.
The priest also invented the scary God, who judges your guilty soul, the Catholic Church even invented Original Sin, so even if you were guilt free, and sin free, you still need them to get to heaven. Do you see the scam in play, just like global warming, an unproven hypothesis being used to scare you to control you.
Global warming is caused by invisible CO2 molecules (just like the invisible devil, angels, and god) and if you don’t give up your car, and meat, and start eating ze bugs, you are doomed. God and his judgment is the same scam, along with your invisible soul.
Now if you have read all of the above and digested this information, what to conclude? The whole thing about afterlife, soul, etc. is a gigantic human delusion based on fear based programming that benefits the priest and the state, who are guilt tripping you to rule over you. They own you if you accept their logic and theology. What it means is that what you believe dearly is not true, which is like everything else we were taught, like the moon landing, holocaust, Genesis, etc. etc. which is why Lloyd’s Pye book title is the best, “Everything you know is wrong”.

I read the Leon Uris tome ‘Exodus’ in the mid-1960s. I read it only because it did not do to admit that one had not, for everyone who was anyone in my undergraduate circle had read it. It had occurred to none of us that we had read fiction. And none of our lecturers or professors had thought fit to advise caution. Indeed, it is not unlikely that they, too, were duped, even the most communistic athiests among them. .

How is it that a scholar’s impressive article that exposes a massive historical lie so neatly triggers an unstoppable flow of musings about things to do with gods, satans, nefarious intentions and the evil Jews?
I ask because comments on this article about Harari are heading in the same direction. But then, because this is an article about the cut of the jib of the sinister-looking Harari, it is at least understandable. Still, I shall come back to this page, for I am curious to see whether a few people have come up with a comment about the article to hand.
