I was born in 1955, nine years after the start of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the West. One of the constant refrains from that era was the claim that the Soviets represented “godless” communism. The false belief continues to frame how most Americans view modern Russia — i.e., it is a godless country. But that is a lie. The Russia of Vladimir Putin is a Christian nation, but respects and embraces its Muslim citizens.
I believe that one of the unstated reasons the West hates Russia is because the majority of the Russian people strongly embrace Eastern Orthodox theology. Unlike the Roman Catholic Church, which is squishy on the issue of the LBGTQ agenda and tarnished by a legion of pedophile Priests, the Eastern Orthodox Christians insist that God created man and woman and that homosexuality is a sin.
And the Eastern Orthodox Church is under an unrelenting attack by the regime of Vladimir Zelensky. For example, the head of the Eastern Orthodox Church in Ukraine, Metropolitan Pavlo, was arrested and confined to his residence for two months by a Ukrainian court after Ukraine’s top security agency SBU raided the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery in March.
The Ukrainian military also is taking part in the effort to intimidate the Eastern Othodox Church:
On Easter night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 20 rockets from MLRS at Donetsk, according to the DPR representation to the JCCC. There was smoke in the area of the Donetsk Cathedral, where a liturgy was taking place, local authorities told TASS. One person was killed and two others were wounded as a result of the shelling of the area of the cathedral in central Donetsk, the DPR authorities added.

Then there is video of the Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia Nikita being attacked on the street at night. (For some reason, YouTube decided this is age-restricted.)
Next up, two elderly women trying to attend a church service in Kiev are surrounded by a mob chanting, “Suitcase, station, Russia!” I guess this is the Ukrainian version of , “Love it or Leave it.” This is just one more example of the Ukrainian Government’s effort to seize Orthodox churches throughout Ukraine.
The effort to seize Orthodox churches is not confined to Kiev:
Subscribers from the region report that the Nazis from the “right sector” (67 brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) are occupying churches and temples in the north of Kharkov.
Among the churches occupied by militants are the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (the village of Cherkasskiye Tishki) and the Nicholas Church (the village of Russkaya Lozovaya).

Since yesterday, opponents of the UOC have been calling on local Facebook pages to come to the cathedral for an assault. At the same time, they spread false information about the Church,” the message says.
Here we have opponents to the Orthodox Church harassing a Priest trying to enter a Cathedral. He is physically assaulted and his hat is snatched from his head.
The West largely remains mute to these pervasive, evil attacks on the Orthodox faithful. It is demonic in the full sense of the word and many of those doing these attacks embrace the Nazi ideology and paganism. here are two beauties. The salute is not accidental.
This is not the first time in history that Eastern Orthodox Christians have been attacked. The question I have is why the political leaders in America and Europe are staying silent in the face of this widespread persecution?

IF more sheeple in the West knew, there MIGHT be pressure or support, but even then, I doubt that. Jesus has called, I can only think of a small handful (including myself, possibly. I await Jesus to confirm that I am His) that have answered the Master’s Call. The other 99.99%, well, they are too busy “buying yokes of oxen” or “inspecting fields” (concerned too much about their “Babylonian business”) to care about accepting the invitation to the Marriage Feast. Thanks for the article. I do have some quibble with the “Nazi” stuff. In the mid 1960s, I had a high school history teacher who was a (wounded) WWII vet. He used to literally foam at the mouth when talking about Hitler and “the Nazis” and urged us to read Mein Kampf. In the early 70s, while studying overseas, I came across a “Stalag” version, the only official English translation, and read it. In many respects, I found it boring, and while not agreeing with many aspects of the political/economic philosophy, saw nothing that would lead me to conclude it was anything close to what my teacher had stated. Perhaps that was because during summers, starting in high school, I worked in a manufacturing plant where a large part of the work force were post WWII immigrants from Europe. That included some who were Hitler youth, and a manger who had been a captain on a U-Boat. The “Youth” opined that while compulsory with the only excuses for not attending being illness or church commitments, the content was not unlike what their own children were doing in the Boy Scouts, until the outbreak of the war. Over the years, I have read many books, written in English and contemporary to the “Nazi” era. Few portray every day life in Germany in a manner close to what has been portrayed post war, and nothing like what the “Ukro-Nazis” appear to be, which is more like a Hollywood caricature than reality.
I want to make it clear that National Socialism, which was advertised as a German solution to German problems, is a flawed philosophy. Then again, all political philosophies are flawed, to a greater or lesser extent. My assessment of the “Ukro-Nazis” is the same as my assessment of the so-called “far-leftists” of today. The real National Socialists and Communists wouldn’t waste their time spitting on them.
Why are so called leaders in the west saying nothing ? because they are demonic degenerates and they fully approve of it. There is no question Putin and Russians in general do not embrace the perverted ways of the west, to be honest there are not that many countries that do, doubt China are that keen on the old pride marches are they. That is part of the problem in western countries, they have been brainwashed into accepting all this stuff as normal and progressive, that all countries embrace it which is a lie. I thought Ukraine was a mostly Christian country, hope these people do not come to harm. Wonder if it might be the church over there talks of ending the war, somehow make peace with Russia and the media have been used to portray them as being traitors.
Some historical context here: One, wasn’t present-day Ukraine once the largest part of the Khazar Empire which became ruled by Talmudic Jewry? Two, didn’t the Israeli press, govt., and others claim a year or so ago that Israel wanted to turn Ukraine into another Israel? Three, don’t Talmudic Jews hate Jesus Christ? Tractate Gitten 57a says Chris is burning in Hell for eternity in His own excement. Four, isn’t the biggest enemy of Talmudic Jewry and their god Satan the Body of Christ, including the Orthodox branches?

Christianity is not passive, and “turning the other cheek” is always misunderstood by antichrists. Jesus didn’t say “turn the other cheek to everyone”. The full quote was “if your BROTHER slaps you, turn the other cheek”. YOUR BROTHER. YOUR BROTHER. YOUR BROTHER! GET IT?
Who is your brother according to Jesus? Anyone who believes in Jesus, like you. Brothers in Christ. So if your BROTHER IN CHRIST, makes a mistake in the heat of the moment and uses violence against you, you should turn the other cheek in order to make him see the error and ask for forgiveness, instead of seeking vengeance and stoking the fire. Since he is a brother in Christ, he is likely to understand and feel guilty and repent.
But we are not supposed to turn the other cheek to antichrists. We are not to become willing victims to murderers and thieves and pagans and muslims and jews, etc. Jesus NEVER TAUGHT THAT! Christians aren’t supposed to be sissy boys standing on all fours taking it from behind every time some antichrist asks for it. We are supposed to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Slaughtering the enemies of Christ, when they threaten you and your family, is extremely Jesus-like. There is nothing “evil” or “antichrist” in self defense. God Himself slaughters His enemies all the time, and will do it completely at the End of Time.
