The leaked U.S. Pentagon documents paint a grim picture of Ukraine’s air defense outlook, predicting that the country could run out of key assets before the end of May.
Ukraine’s S-300 air defense systems could run out of ammunition by as early as May 2, while the country’s other air defenses could be depleted by May 23, the documents warn. The documents, dated to late February, state that systems like the S-300 make up some 89% of Ukraine’s air defense capability.
Should Ukraine lose its ability to threaten Russian aircraft encroaching on its territory, the conflict could quickly turn.
Currently, Russia maintains a fleet of some 485 fighter jets, compared to Ukraine’s 85. Should air defense systems go offline, Ukraine’s lopsided numbers game in the air would be its only means of securing the sky over Ukrainian troops.
The Pentagon said on Sunday that an interagency task force is assessing the validity and impacts of the “sensitive and highly classified material” that has leaked online.
The leaked documents pertain to a wide range of issues and countries, detailing one instance in which a British spy plane was nearly shot down by a Russian jet off the coast of Crimea last year. U.K. Defense Minister Ben Wallace previously told the British Parliament that the Russian jets flew “recklessly,” but chalked the missile launch up to a “technical malfunction.”
The leaks also suggested that Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad, had secretly encouraged the mass protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last month.
It alleged that Mossad “advocated for Mossad officials and Israeli citizens to protest the new Israeli Government’s proposed judicial reforms, including several explicit calls to action that decried the Israeli government, according to signals intelligence.”
Netanyahu’s office, which is in charge of Mossad, dismissed the claims in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“The report that was published overnight in the American press is mendacious and without any foundation whatsoever. The Mossad and its senior officials did not – and do not – encourage agency personnel to join the demonstrations against the government, political demonstrations or any political activity,” the prime minister’s office wrote on behalf of the Mossad.

The BIG take from these leaked documents, is that they prove key figures in the US Nazi regime are lying to the US sheeple, and this is a serious federal crime.
Who will bring the charges?
Ukraine ran out of air defences last year. It’s NATO running out of them now.
One paragraph tells how MAYBE anti-air missiles MIGHT run out in Ukraine, but by the end of the story, mossad MIGHT have fomented some protests? Oh the humanity, have a box of tissues handy if you’re reading this, and try not to sob too
loudly. 🙂 The writer MIGHT not want to quit his day job.
They are not looking for a victory for the purported underdog, they want it to drag out till the maximum number are d..e..a..d
Oh – the second ‘here’s a suggestion’ of the day –
‘Why doesn’t Ukraine just discuss terms?’
It is very difficult to work out what all these Politicians, Diplomats, Letter Agencies, MSM News Corps teams in stupidly vast studios and so on actually do –
Anybody else here agree with my suggestion?
dunno, – might be worth a try –
Another turn of the kaleidoscope where the picture entirely alters again – I believe it is entirely possible, in fact highly probable, that Mossad is indeed creating dissent against the ‘hard line’ (just means they do what they say they will) Israeli Government.
I don’t pretend to understand why.
Just as well, as it seems that about 90% of any statements asserted with certainty either here or anywhere else end up being bumped off to the side by subsequent events –
I doubt that,,, this is US propaganda for an excuse to feed even more war material to the disappearing Ukrainian.
Anything published in a Western publication should be considered a lie at best misinformation at worse.
Russia could annihilate any Ukrainian air defense it chooses to. This war is a major distraction. Soon US/Natostan troops will be deployed. More deaths,,, all to the glee of the psychopaths administering this side show.
I’m always wary of intelligence leaks, because intel agencies don’t just try to find out secrets they know how to keep them. They usually run a very tight ship with compartmentalisation with only a few at the top having access to the highly-secret intel, like today’s claim US intel had penetrated high into Russia’s chain of command. Right there I think this was its aim, the hope that Russia would be deceived by that little snippet, and in a tizzy they would halt their advances in Ukraine to root out the turncoats.
I’m guessing the US is becoming so desperate they have to pretend they’re right at the heart of Russia’s decision-making. But Russia had eight years to plan this SMO and vet those it put in place. The rest of what was released we mostly know about… Ukraine is losing; they don’t have enough weapons; the US is spying on everybody not just Ukraine and Russia; the Ukraine counter-offensive will fail and so on. Most of us who are awake generally know this, so this “leak” hasn’t really given us any revelations. For those asleep who watch the MSM it may have been revealing and looks damaging so is therefore “real”, but I suspect its main purpose was to deceive the last people who might be deceived by it. The Russians.
