I like what Ray McGovern has to say but he takes so long to say it I usually switch off in frustration. I got through less than ten minutes of this one. That’s a lot of good info I pass on because I can’t bear the waffle and I can’t be the only one.
Likeable man though Ray McGovern is, as is Stephen Gardner, I cannot believe that the two are ad-libbing here. Surely not even an ex-CIA man can ‘spill’ as freely as McGovern appears to be doing. And the evidence against Scholtz is not dropped into this conversation without ulterior motive.
Rather, the US wants Scholtz off the political scene: According to himself, Scholtz still chats regularly with President Putin. And the US prefers that this were not the case. So Ray McGovern dobs Scholz in, not to President Putin (who probably knows) but to the German public, who will surely demand his resignation. It is impossible to believe that the German people might be inclined to overlook the Scholz treachery that trashed their until-recently very powerful economy.
Scholtz gone will mean at least one big Ukraine war stoker off the scene, together with his Foreign Minister, the idiot Annalena Baerbock, who claimed in EU Parliament that ‘we are at war with Russia’.
In short: this annihilation of Scholz sits well with the previous article’s retired General, who is calling for dialogue, not for Ukraine’s (never credible) Spring Offensive. Maybe things are looking up.
