A large group of about fifteen Austrian MPs walked out of an EU meeting at the start of a video message from Zelensky, saying Austria giving weapons to Ukraine would violate its neutrality. They say political support is fine but no to arms. They are members of the far right Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) who left placards on their desks calling for freedom and neutrality. Walking out on a Zelensky appearance is a new development and one wonders if they could have done that before the US’ increasing isolation.
