There is no other journalist, dead or alive, that can match the work and legacy of Sy Hersh — e.g., Watergate, CIA Assassinations, the Glomar Explorer, My Lai Massacre, Abu Ghraib, Syrian False Flag Chemical Weapon, Killing Bin Laden and now, the U.S. attack on the Nord Stream Pipeline.
The reaction of the government hacks to Sy’s revelations follows the same script with one new addition — a vociferous denial and a vicious dismissal attributing Sy’s report to the musings of an addled old man.
Full disclosure — Sy Hersh is an old friend in all senses of that expression. Our first meeting came in September 1981 when he accepted my invitation to speak to a group of Washington Semester students at the American University. During our introductory chat we discovered that we each had a son named Josh that was born that year. We stayed in touch over the years and Sy became my go to golf partner. He’s now approaching 86 years on this earth but hits the golf ball like a 60 year old. He also is a tennis fanatic. His talent as an athlete pales in comparison to his genius as an investigative journalist.
Sy also is living evidence of the degeneration of the field of investigative journalism. Ten years ago his latest piece would have been featured on the front page of the New Yorker Magazine or the New York Times. That is no longer the case. Sy is a pariah because he will not surrender to the Deep State coercion to lie in order to protect the corruption that is the foundation of Washington, DC and Wall Street.

Last June, the Navy divers, operating under the cover of a widely publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with direct knowledge of the operational planning. . . .
There was a vital bureaucratic reason for relying on the graduates of the center’s hardcore diving school in Panama City. The divers were Navy only, and not members of America’s Special Operations Command, whose covert operations must be reported to Congress and briefed in advance to the Senate and House leadership—the so-called Gang of Eight. The Biden Administration was doing everything possible to avoid leaks as the planning took place late in 2021 and into the first months of 2022.
I do not know if this article will ignite a firestorm in the United States, but it may light the fuse on a political explosion in Germany. The German people are now confronted with the question — are they the prison bitch of the United States? The Biden Administration’s decision to destroy the Nord Stream pipeline, apart from being an act of war against Russia, was a direct attack on the German economy and the German people. How many businesses have shuttered as a result of this attack? How many Germans died as a result of the economic downturn?
Thank God there are still men like Sy Hersh willing to tell uncomfortable truths. In this case the future of mankind is at stake and Sy’s latest revelation may help us steer clear of nuclear war.

A Pentagon source releasing this intel to Seymour Hersch suggests the US military is looking for a way out of this coming war against Russia. If this doesn’t stop the Biden Admin and neo-cons then maybe, ultimately, the military will have to consider removing the government. It’s a conventional war the west cannot win so the neo-cons may want to go nuclear, so arresting them may be the only way to stop them.
Hmmm… Would the NY Times have published this Hersh article if it were capable of harming US interests? Presumably not, so it isn’t. Hersh has not come up with even a smidgeon of evidence that points to US participation in the Gulf Stream crime. He is all hot air.
And we should remember: Poland’s erstwhile Foreign Minister, now the MEP Radek Sikorsky, came up with his ‘Thank you, America!’ within minutes of the pipeline’s explosion. He, too, is a journalist. So is his wife, the well known American Ann Applebaum. Sy Hersh is much too late on the scene.

It seem like the ostensible opposing narrative has surreptiously been readmitted arena. For the majority of the naïve, the agreement of the west and Russia on certain things therefore validates them; otherwise, the naïve argue, “why would they agree?”
However many die, I still maintain it is all theatre. The posturing of the players is reminiscent of the trash talking in boxing and “wrestling”.
The amount of keystrokes invested in the Ukraine business may be compared to the copy devoted to sports. And although sport is often derided as the bread and circuses occupying people’s attention, I find the sport redeems itself by not trying to be anything other than it is.
Are the full colour world cup charts and football analyses pulled from newspapers any different than the endless dissected pictures of armaments and chess style strategic diagrams of the war?
