One of the world’s most advanced artillery shells is being provided by the US to Ukraine.
Said to be the US Army’s most accurate artillery shell, the GPS-guided M982 Excalibur is an advanced precision-guided 155mm artillery shell.
According to defence contractor BAE Systems, “regardless of the distance from the gun and the target, the round has the same accuracy”.
With normal artillery, the Excalibur can land within six feet of a target 25 miles away but, in tests, the US scored a direct hit on a truck at more than 40 miles.
Its accuracy made it an essential part of Ukraine’s recent counter-offensives and has been credited with hugely increasing the country’s firepower.
One shell can hit a target that may be missed by a volley of conventional shells – making it ideal for surgical strikes on significant Russian targets.
The US is sending more than 500 Excalibur shells to Ukraine in its latest military package – the Pentagon has previously not acknowledged the sending of the artillery rounds.
It is thought that the US has, however, sent around 3,000 Excalibur rounds since the conflict started in February last year.

Another hard right propaganda piece.
There hasn’t been a Nazi counter-offensive. Russia made a tactical withdrawal to reduce troop loses. They could’ve stayed put, but more Russians would have died.
Other counter offensives are pure propaganda. You’ve got to understand that much of Nazi UKraine is empty, field of mud, or crops. The Russians are where they need to be, and in huge numbers.
There’s also around 100k of forces ready in Belarus to move South, and all the military equipment is brand spanking new.
The Russians are very happy to move slowly and kill as many Nazis as possible.
This Russian frigate in the Western Atlantic, every East Coast military port could be destroyed before the yanks even knew it.
Further, these tanks, when they arrive. According to Scott Ritter, the Abrams tank, when in US hands, requires 3 hours of maintenance for every hour of operation. Ritter goes on to say, that in a war zone, 1 hours operation would require 5 hours of maintenance.
Of course, tanks are not constantly in combat mode, but they are moving. All the same, this is the same flaw we saw with US jets in Syria. US jets required servicing every two sorties, Russian jets could fly 6 sorties before servicing.
The tanks used by UKraine, they are run into the ground, or destroyed. No one collects a Nazi tank from the front line and takes it away to be fixed.
It’s going to be the same for these NATO tanks, and if they are recovered, where are they going to fix them?
This very interesting 9min video demonstrates Russia’s Kornet anti-tank missile system which can be mounted or used by infantry, and examines the limitations of Leopard and Abrams tanks and how they were overcome in the Middle East, often by irregular forces.

Its going to be hilarious when those USSA weapons – not to mention ZOGUK’s junk! – get annihilated “on the road to Ctimea”
😅😂🤣
Ctimea = Crimea 😅
If Russia has the ability to take out U.S. GPS satellites, this should be all the justification they need to go ahead and do it.
This 7min videos tries to explain why the US probably won’t get its Abrams tanks into Ukraine by the end of the year, though I think the real reason is they pressured other countries into sending their tanks while they had no intention of sending their own. They sold some to Poland so why not pressure them to send some of theirs like they pressured Germany to send Leopard IIs? Now they say the composition of depleted uranium in its armour is a secret they don’t want Russia to discover (surely Russia has samples from Abrams destroyed in Iraq and Syria), and say they will replace the DU with titanium. It’s possible they’re wary of Russia’s reaction to the DU entering the battlefield, which will contaminate with DU dust the area around where it’s destroyed–but most titanium comes from China, Russia and Vietnam. How about that? They think those three nations will sell titanium to America so it can get snotty again?

A Russian oil company is offering 5 million rubles to the first soldiers who take out a NATO tank a Russian media company is offering 500,000 rubles and 1 million if one is captured intact . Interestingly it is expected 88 leopards will be the first batch to be delivered, 88 is code for Heil Hitler !!!
I understand that Putin is trying to minimize casualities among the Ukranian civilians but why doesn’t he send a precisely aimed missile at the head of the snake?
The war would be over a lot faster…
