Even without being told by Kremlin propagandists, many ordinary Russians must now have concluded that the West is using Ukraine as a proxy to break Russia.
That much must seem evident, even to those Russians who don’t necessarily support Vladimir Putin. For why else would so many Western nations be so ready to commit so much to a conflict in which they have so little real interest?
As a result many Russians will rally around President Putin with a renewed resolve to resist. That means that any new offensive Russia embarks on will be widely supported
Having mobilised 300,000 reservists and 500,000 conscripts Russia now has a powerful army at the ready.
The Kremlin sees the crisis in Ukraine as an existential threat. Not originating in Ukraine itself but in the various Western nations that are using it as a proxy against Russia. As a result I suspect that this war will not remain confined to Ukraine much longer.
Meaning that it could soon escalate into other parts of Western Europe and beyond. Although I suspect that it may not develop into a full-on nuclear exchange of mutually assured destruction as many fear, I suspect we may be witnessing the beginning of WWIII.
In short, I envisage a largely conventional conflict with the limited use of nuclear weapons, both battlefield and strategic, and weapons of mass destruction that have yet to be unveiled. Nonetheless, hundreds of millions if not billions could die in the ensuing conflagration.
And that’s precisely what the globalist elite wants. They tried but didn’t quite manage it with Covid-19 and the mass vaccination campaign after too many questions were raised. So now they’ve resorted to Plan B – war with Russia, and maybe China and Iran too. Ed.
Hammer blow for Vladimir Putin as Ukraine to get 200 tanks from West

The West is poised to send nearly 200 battle tanks to Ukraine in a potential hammer blow that could help Kyiv win its war against Vladimir Putin.
It came after Germany finally succumbed to weeks of international pressure and agreed to donate some of its Leopard 2 tanks.
Berlin also relented on allowing other countries, such as Poland, to re-export German-made Leopard 2s, which could happen within days.
Meanwhile, the United States dropped its opposition to sending M1 Abrams tanks – potentially dozens of them – in a major escalation of its involvement.
The UK has already become the first ally to pledge tanks to Ukraine, having said it would send 14 of its Challenger 2s.
Under international agreements, other countries must be granted permission by Berlin to send their Leopard 2s.
Officials in Kyiv have suggested a dozen nations were willing to donate a total of up to 100 of them, if given permission by the German government.
Germany itself was reportedly preparing to send 14 tanks, with Olaf Scholz, the country’s chancellor, expected to make an announcement as soon as Wednesday.
“Today, the chancellor made a decision that no one took lightly,” said Christian Duerr, parliamentary leader of the co-governing Free Democrats. “The fact that Germany will support Ukraine with the Leopard tank is a strong sign of solidarity.”
US officials suggested their plans were being finalised, with options to send up to 50 Abrams. An announcement is expected later this week.
It brought the total number of tanks Kyiv can expect to have at its disposal to nearly 200, with potential for more.
Meanwhile, Switzerland, which has a long-held tradition of neutrality, appeared to be moving towards allowing other countries to re-export Swiss-made weapons to Ukraine – including Piranha tanks and anti-aircraft guns.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, has long pleaded for tanks, which would be key to punching through Russian defences in a Ukrainian counter-offensive to regain its territory.
Andriy Yermak, his chief of staff, said: “This is going to become a real punching fist of democracy against the autocracy from the bog.”
Kirill Mikhailov, a Kyiv-based military researcher, told The Telegraph that deliveries of tanks on that scale could “change the course of the war”.
He said: “We’ve already passed the end of the beginning. What you need now is to be able to replenish the Ukrainians to the point where the Russians will constantly be on the retreat.”
He said the US would be likely to settle on 50 Abrams, adding: “It is the minimum that makes sense logistically on the battlefield.”
Sending less would mean the Abrams’ “usefulness would outweigh their strain on logistics chains”.
The developments resolved a period of protracted friction over the issue of sending tanks, which had exposed a diplomatic rift in the Western alliance.
US officials had maintained that Abrams tanks were unsuitable for use in Ukraine because they are difficult to operate and maintain, require extensive training and need frequent refuelling.
They have long believed Germany’s Leopard 2s were a better fit, because they have interchangeable parts and are easy to maintain.
However, Mr Scholz had refused to allow their use, saying Berlin would not “go alone”.
The White House and Pentagon were caught off guard by the strength of the German reluctance.
No agreement was reached in a meeting of 50 Allied defence ministers at the US air base in Ramstein, Germany, on Friday.
But following intense behind-the-scenes negotiations, including one senior US official reportedly “reading the riot act” to his German counterpart, a transatlantic tank deal appeared to have been struck.
US officials cautioned that there had been no final decision in Washington, but their position was softening and a “significant” number of Abrams could now be sent.
Shortly before the German and US reversals emerged, Chris Coons, a Democrat senator and a close ally of Joe Biden, the US president, told Politico: “If the Germans continue to say we will only send or release Leopards on the condition that Americans send Abrams, we should send Abrams.”
It could take months to deliver the 70-ton Abrams tanks and train Ukrainian forces in how to use them.
However, the change in US position appears to have helped to unlock the German resistance.
Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland’s prime minister, called on Berlin “not to procrastinate, not to delay, but just to take brave decisions”.
He said Berlin’s longstanding purchases of Russian energy meant they had a “special responsibility” in the conflict.
In a further sign of a break in the deadlock, Berlin suggested that nations willing to donate their Leopards could begin training Ukrainian crews.
It came as Jens Stoltenberg, Nato’s secretary-general – who was meeting Boris Pistorius, the German defence minister, for talks in Berlin – said he was “confident” of a tank deal.
The US has already authorised the sending of Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Stryker armoured personnel carriers, which the Pentagon believes are better suited for the challenge in Ukraine.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, said the new tank deliveries “would bring nothing good to the future relations”.

By the time most Europeans realize they have been duped, they will have been deindustrialized and demilitarized, weakened by the loss of their weapons and ordinance gone to waste in Ukraine. It’s a brilliant move by the globalist cabal.
I think the purpose of this tank supply has been achieved. That was for America to clearly drag its weak and compliant European political minions into this war it wants against Russia, which may go beyond the mischief it has planned and into direct confrontation ie. WWIII. It wants other countries beside and in front of it while it mostly drives it from behind as it is already positioned to do. These countries might have been able to claim no real involvement by sending just bullets and shells, because they’re supplies for weapons and not weapons in themselves. But send battle tanks and they’re a part of this war as sure are Ukraine and Russia. These deliveries ensure we’re entering the conventional phase of WWIII.
They must have known this was the plan but they were unwilling to say to America “No to your war!” How appallingly weak they must be. At least Russia is likely to strike at America and it would deserve to lose if it is unwilling to do so. It must bury the American empire before ending Europe’s.
First, this has never been a proxy war.
We now have it confirmed they NATO and its political systems, were preparing UKraine Nazis to retake the Russian speaking breakaway republics and Crimea, and then attack Russia, because the Nazis have only pure hatred for Russians, just like Western Nazis.
We also know that senior NATO brass and special forces have been on the ground in UKraine and in Russia from the start.
We also know that at least 30,000 Polish militaries have slipped into UKrainian Nazi uniforms, and that many regular NATO personnel have joined private militaries.
Then there’s the Intel, and targeting. You have desk bound NATO Nazi sheeple directly involved in killing Russians, and this is just what we know, but it could be even worse, which the Russians will know about, hence their anger.
This is not a proxy war. US backing Iraq against Iran, that was a proxy war. The Taliban against Russia, that was a proxy war. Angola was a proxy war. IMHO, a proxy war is where a major power backs a much lower power against a similar rival power. You could almost say the CIA drugs cartels, better armed than many national militaries, are fighting a proxy war against Mexico. The Mexican side of the US border is a war zone.
Why the tanks don’t matter.
It has been officially stated that US tanks will take ‘many months’ to arrive on the Nazi front lines. Maybe European tanks will be there sooner. But the fact remains, the next two months will decide the course of this war.
I don’t see how you can have limited use of nukes in a super power war. As Scott Ritter has stated many times, ‘there’s no such thing as a limited nuclear war’. Its a slot machine, you just keep feeding it nukes.
As suggested above, this could be a prolonged conventional war, but the US and other NATO forces haven’t fought a peer power war for eons. The NATO Nazis are starting from cold. The Russians are going to wipe the floor with them.
You see, at the moment, Russia is using a slow meat grinder strategy. The idea is to kill as many Nazis for minimal Russian losses. This suits Russian perfectly, because the idea isn’t to win quickly, but to kill as many Nazis as possible.
When and if actual NATO Nazi forces clash with the Russians, the meat grinder strategy ends. The Russians will hit harder, and move faster, and yes, they’ll lose more men, but they are still going to have a 5 to 2 kill ratio in their favour, simply because actual NATO forces will take 6 months to get upto speed, by which time, they’ll have suffered 200,000 dead. That’s not a big number in context to UKraine losing 130,000 just by Russia playing it safe.
The next thing that hasn’t been mentioned much, is that China could supply Russia with arms and even troops. China wants Russia to win. If you doubt this, then you’re a fool. These Iranian in house weapons look very effective. This is because they’ve been helped by China and Russia, because neither wants a weak Iran.
But the prospect of Chinese made missiles sending body bag Buck back to Tennessee, would be a massive blow to Amerikan sheeple. I’m not saying it will happen, but it could.
What good to Ukraine are the few hundred assorted tanks it will receive from various sources, when Russia has easily ten times their number to deploy immediately, and the Ukrainians have still to be taught how to drive and maintain them?
Or are NATO personnel to be on the ground to do the driving and maintaining? Russia has already said that the gifted tanks ‘will burn’, and, presumably, the NATO personnel in and around them. I am certainly no military strategist, but on the face of it, this tanks arrangement is just plain silly … particular since Ukraine has already fed 70% of its fighting forces into the meat-grinder on its Eastern Front.

The major European donors know perfectly well that it will take considerable time to get even these small armour units operational. It may be that they are hoping for Ukraine to collapse before this happens, thus resolving their internal political problems.

Surprised no-one has mentioned that tanks are a massive target to aircraft so having air superiority is paramount and Ukraine doesn’t but Russia does. Wasn’t air superiority the secret to the US victory in the Gulf War? All of Saddam’s armour was smashed, a pilot said ‘it was like shooting fish in a barrel’. Mind you, it could be all over before these tanks are operational in theatre, bearing in mind the training that’s required to use them competently.
