The number of Republican voters who are against the war in Ukraine has steadily increased. In March only 6% said that the U.S. is doing ‘too much’ for Ukraine. That number is now 48%. The Republicans in Congress have been pressing the Biden administration to better safeguard the enormous amount of weapon and money it is sending to Kiev:

The plan will be a whole-of-government effort implemented broadly across three phases: now through Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, FY 2024, and beyond FY 2024. It will focus on three lines of effort:

- Bolstering the ability of security forces in Ukraine and its neighboring states to account for and safeguard their arms and ammunition during transfer, in storage, and when deployed;
- Strengthening border management and security in Ukraine and its neighboring states; and
- Building the capacity of security forces, law enforcement officials, and border control agencies in Ukraine and its neighboring states to deter, detect, and interdict illicit trafficking of certain advanced conventional weapons.
End-use monitoring (EUM) measures, as traditionally conducted by State, DoD, and Commerce, while different in their scopes and methodologies, are generally designed to mitigate the risk of illicit diversion in peacetime or low-intensity conflict environments, as they normally rely on in-country presence of U.S. government personnel. Conducting EUM in an active war zone such as Ukraine requires different approaches, as the conflict makes it impractical to request the return of equipment from the front lines to depots or other locations where U.S. government personnel can inspect them in a safer environment.
So the U.S. can not really account for the weapons it delivers to Ukraine, says the State Department, but it can teach the Ukrainians how to count and guard them.

The small US force is an expedition to establish NATO, or a coalition of the willing, to enter UKraine.
If its the willing, NATO is finished.
The Russians have told the UK via their Russian ambassador that after the legal hoops are done, and the evidence published, Russia will strike a UK military target. Maybe a navel vessel, or Portsmouth docks where 85% of the UKs navy is based. The rust bucket carrier being repaired in PH could also be a target.
Russia is going to do this bacause the UK did the gas pipe, the bridge, and the Russian Black Sea fleet. The latter being the focus of Russian attention, because this was purely a UK operation, with some Nazis thrown in. It was not a NATO operation, it was not in UKraine. The reason why Russia isn’t using the pipe and bridge, is that the US was also involved, but again, these were not NATO operations.
So no one is going to stand with terrorist state Britain.
Why do I think the Russians will strike the UK? Because the Russian sheeple are in an apoplectic rage with the West, and the sheeple around Putin are demanding blood. If Putin doesn’t strike, he could be removed, and a military leader could take over, and do what needs to be done.
It’s fine being the leading global statesman who plays a very cool hand, but not everyone is so patient.
A forth event would be a step too far. My money (I don’t gamble) is on at least one regular warhead attached to a hypersonic missile. It could be more than one. And let’s not forget, Russia will be briefing its allies and other countries about what has happened, and why Russia must act. So forget the lying fake news.
The UK might retaliate, but know will back the UK on this, so Russia will simply nuke the UK. The US will not allow the UK to use Trident, because they require US controlled GPS and other tech.
