Russia may be reluctant to inflict damage that causes casualties, so to show their capabilities and inflict economic damage while limiting casualties they could put a big hole smack-bang in the middle of half a dozen runways and halt all air traffic to and from our major airports. I agree with michaelpaulbo that crypto is approaching the end of it’s useful life, so people need to convert it to something of real value before (((they))) take the internet (or the relevant part of it) down, but gold doesn’t taste very nice when there’s nothing in the shops, and what can “precious” metals buy when nobody’s got anything to sell?

Missed the recent announcement that US troops might wander into Ukraine to check out whether free stuff was actually getting there, or arming criminals . While they are there, maybe they could enter into negotiations to just buy the country (cheap). We haven’t made a good real estate deal since Alaska (from the Russians even).
Maybe the 101st could split off some pencilnecks, who could make US an offer we can’t refuse?
