In the uk, this social credit system is already in place, through credit reference agencies, references to open bank accounts, references to rent a box to live in, and so on. Moreover, all bank transactions are already subject to blocking, as millions of people have already found out (see the trustpilot website and look up any uk bank). My account has been frozen 4 times so far. It makes no difference which bank you use, because they’re all the same. They also force you to use a phone, thereby further linking you into their computer dystopia. Just like “smart meters”, the point of all this is to allow your owners to punish you if you step out of line. They can cut off your power and your money already, they’re also now fitting water “smart meters” so that they can cut off your water, and they always had the ability to kill you through throwing you into the street for “not paying your bills”. It goes without saying that the rich are unaffected by this because they have numerous sources of money, unlike joe schmo with his one bank account. Britain is already a fascist regime, this is just another layer, and one that’s already in place.
I noticed the narrator in the video stated that “artificial intelligence” algorithms would be used to police your spending. Well, if you think “if joe buys a widget from x.com block his bank account” is “artificial intelligence” then you’ll probably agree. For the sane, it’s just another nonsense claim of “AI” that boils down to an if-else loop. He also stated that currently the only entity that knows that joe bought something with his debit card is his bank. This is incorrect, as many people have proven over the years. First, the bank is legally required to store every payment record forever, which is pointless unless the gov wants the ability to reach into your finances and kick you, which it does when you step out of line. The bank will also sell your “interests” to anyone that’ll pay them for that information. Many have bought something and then received adverts to buy related things, with only the bank supposedly knowing they bought it. “We value your privacy” = “we sell your privacy for some value”.

Was the core broadcast in the video really from BBC? Is this really going on in the UK? If so, then the place is even more of a prison than China with all of the deceptions and brainwashing with the masses obediently complying.

Earlier this year, my bank allowed “someone” to steal a couple of thousand quid from my account, and when I complained, all I got was lies, lies and more lies.
The thefts could ONLY have been made by someone working at the bank because the thief had knowledge no-one else could have had access to.
I cancelled my debit card, but the thefts continued for a further six weeks or so.
Now I keep my account balance as low as I dare, just enough to cover direct debits and standing orders, and use cash for everything else.

@ Barney: did you, at some point before the money went missing, buy anything from anywhere online? That’s where your details usually get leaked out. You give them to X, they use them to empty your bank account. It’ll also happen if you sign up for one of these dumbass intermediary payment systems that move your money around automatically, as you give them your login details. It’ll also happen if you use a public internet connection like in a coffee shop (any fool can do a MITM attack), or if you use a VPN. At the end of the day, the bank is probably right, and you gave your logon details to someone. Maybe you got owned by one of the ATM riggers who’re putting things into ATM slots so when you put your card in it actually goes into their whatnot and you give them the ability to take money from your account.
All the stuff in the video is just the social credit system being put in place. You’ve known this for years, so it’s a bit late to be bellyaching about it. You didn’t want to fight, so it’s welcome to chinatown.

Barter was a method used in much of the Soviet Union in the 50s and later after Stalin died..it was necessary for them to survive, esp. in rural areas. Surprised the video didn’t discuss that “you can’t buy and sell without the mark of the Beast” scenario (Revelation 13) because that’s how I see this new “system” they want to install. For that is where this CBDC will lead to– taking the mark of the Beast.
