The US stands to benefit economically from the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines and has a record of targeting energy infrastructure with sabotage operations, the head of Russia’s Security Council said.
“Pretty much from the first minutes after the news of the explosions broke … the West launched an active campaign for assigning blame. But it is obvious that the primary beneficiary, first of all in the economic sense, was the US,” Nikolay Patrushev said on Friday.
He compared this week’s incident with the attack on Nicaragua’s oil infrastructure in Puerto Sandino in 1983. Back then CIA officers, based on a ship moored in international waters, coordinated a raid by commandos they had trained to fight against the Sandinista government, US press reported at the time. The US spy agency also provided speed boats for the raid, a CIA source explained, according to Associated Press.
The operation was part of the Reagan administration’s “dirty war” on Nicaragua, which later led to the Iran-Contras scandal. The CIA’s secret sale of weapons to Iran to fund Latin American militants was exposed in 1986.
Patrushev made the remarks at a meeting with fellow security officials from former Soviet nations.
“It appears to be necessary to coordinate our effort to expose the masterminds and executors of this crime, setting a good example for effective cooperation,” he told his counterparts.
He noted that the US goal was “ensuring strategic and economic superiority over alternative centers of power” even though Washington’s ally the EU has been suffering from its policies. The US is replacing Russian natural gas with its more expensive liquified natural gas, as the bloc moves to decouple its economy from Russian energy sources.
The leaks in the two Nord Stream pipelines were first detected on Monday, when pressure in the undersea links connecting Russia directly to Germany drastically dropped. The pipelines were apparently breached with explosives, with the blasts detected by earthquake sensors in Sweden.
Moscow called the incident an international terrorist attack against civilian infrastructure, while some Western officials described it as an act of sabotage.
Some critics of Russia speculated that Moscow decided to blow up its own gas links with Germany to put pressure on the EU.
Polish MEP and former Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski thanked the US for the incident, but later deleted the tweet, calling his implied assertion of Washington’s involvement a personal working theory.

Attempts by Russia’s enemies to put blame on Russia for the Nord Stream incident very conveniently ignore the fact that U.S. warships were at the very site of the Russian infrastructure disruption just the day before, with drones and helicopters seen flying over the area. Also it has been reported the US Navy were in that area some time ago using underwater explosives conducting exercises. So when you have a US President in the recent past promising to “bring an end to the Nord Stream 2 Project”, this act of sabotage should automatically prompt the cui bono – factor – who benefits?
It is all very well naming the criminal, but there are many known criminals walking around freely. Until something is done about it, it is all just talk. Semper verba, non acta.

It is possible to repair pipes under water using a hyperbaric welding system and at 70 metres depth, mixed-gas saturation divers who are Lloyds qualified and certified welders, but it would be a monumental task, because the pipes are coated and encased in concrete and then are possibly below the seabed. If the Russians have used the normal method of jetting the pipes into and under the seabed, using a system whereby an huge sledge sits on top of the pipe and moves along it, whilst having high pressure jets to blow the sand away from underneath the pipe, creating a trench that the pipe settles into, then getting to the pipe to repair it will be even more difficult.
The question for repairing is: did the pipes just sit on the seabed, or were they jetted into it? At 70 metres depth it would not be vulnerable to anchors dragging into it, like in shallower waters, but the water depth is not uniform, especially as the sea approaches land.
If they sat on the seabed they would be more vulnerable than if jetted-in, but easier to both find to repair and to attack.
Welding conventionally underwater makes the weld brittle, because the weld does not cool naturally like on land, but is instantly cooled by the seawater. That’s why with something like these pipelines the hyperbaric-welding system is used, because it uses a gas-pressurised chamber over the pipeline, to keep the water off the welding, so it cools slowly like on land.
The bottom-line of this is that only a satanic-lunatic would do something like this, and with satanic lunatics running the world, as they undoubtedly are, and doing things like Fukushima and the Nord Stream pipe destruction and future lunacies, it brings into play this Scripture reference:

A comment, after reading this: The pressure the pipelines “dropped to” after being blown up was actually the pressure put on the gas from the German side by the water at the blast site. Until the water arrived . . . . .
This was obviously an act of war by the United States that was done for the purpose of devastating Europe. It was probably ordered by Soros&Klaus for the purpose of facilitating the “Great Reset”. It does justify an action by Russia, at the level of sinking a few Nimitz class aircraft carriers or quite frankly, whatever Russia decides to do. It is serious beyond serious.

Could the escaping gas create a massive cloud that could be (((ignited))) and act as a bomb ?
At minimum, it appears the pipeline, even if it could be repaired will be abandoned, aka Fool Me Once…it becomes a (((potential perpetual target))) with no appetite to risk investment in???
Further to this…are other pipelines globally vulnerable targets as winter approaches ?
