Colonel Markus Reisner of the Austrian Army presents the current state (vid) of the war.
Two of the facts he mentions were new to me.
The Ukrainian army has moved seven brigades of its Territorial Defense Forces from the west into the area east of the Dnieper. If these were fully maned each will have had some 3,000 soldiers. That are a lot of troops but they are pure infantry without heavy weapons and with extremely little training. Col. Reisner also showed a collection of 15 videos in which members of such and other units describe hopeless situations, declare a retreat or call out their commanders for neglect.
Morale is so bad because those troops do not fare well.

“Spoke to someone today who said that the Ukie basic training is 10 days and then off to the front. 65% casualty rates. At least double or more the losses of the Russians but you don’t hear anything about it.”
I very much doubt that Russian units, the way they are currently fighting, have casualty rates of more than 10%. Russia is regularly rotating units in and out to give them some rest and to let them replenish. It is a classic Russian artillery war now and infantry only comes in when the Ukrainians are already defeated.
As this permanent grinding continues the Ukrainians will soon reach a breaking point.

Russia has lost about 2000 men, Ukraine has lost 60,000. That says it all.

My heart goes out to the innocent people of Ukraine. A good people and mainly farmers that live off the land and a very smart and wise people, the Kievan Rus pushed out the Kaganates that ruled them, only to be smashed by the Khanates later and then return back. Their people of the earth remind me of my Danish Grandparents and they tend their gardens the same way. Now, after Holodomor and the Bolshevik atrocities, they come under Victoria Nuland of the US for most evil by the US. In my contacts is was shown a flag by a Ukrainian girls who lived above me that just came to the US as a nurse showing the Eagle at one end and the Bear at another ripping Ukraine apart. I’ve always respected people who take care of the animals and live off the land. They are special. Ukrainians are also inventive as are the Belarus (mother Russia), Russia, and the Baltic States. They share many of the same values as the Norse who are related and Germanic peoples which is from the realms and gardens also known as the reichs and gaards from 8th century maps which is almost all the upper 2/3ds of Europe.

How many Jews are fighting on the front lines for Ukraine?? Surely that is a large number, given that each of the three leaders of Ukraine (Yats, Poroshenko and Zelensky) since the 2014 Maidan revolt are Jews.
