The head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin has said that his team is making progress in a criminal probe into Ukraine’s alleged Pentagon-funded bioweapons programme.
“The analysis of the obtained documents allowed us to clearly identify the people involved in the military biological activities in Ukraine, including representatives of the US Department of Defense and American companies with ties to it,” he said, RT reported.
Bastrykin added that the US had spent more than $224 million on biological programmes in Ukraine since 2005 and the foreign aid was used to equip and upgrade around 30 research centers governed by Ukraine’s Defence, Health and Agriculture ministries.
“The results of said research had been evacuated to Kiev-controlled territory before the start of (Russia’s) special military operation,” he said, adding that his agency would continue to study the documents on the matter.
In March, Moscow claimed that it had found evidence that the US had been funding biological weapons research in Ukraine. Washington and Kiev denied this claim and accused Russia of waging a disinformation campaign, RT reported.
Senior US diplomat Victoria Nuland said at the time that Washington was working with Ukraine to prevent research materials from falling into the hands of Russian troops.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, meanwhile, urged the US to “give a full account of its biological military activities at home and abroad and subject itself to multilateral verification”.
All this was underway when America lied about Iraq having bio-labs.

Ukraine has made a president of a clown. It is tolerating this clown’s dismissal of the entire parliamentary opposition, and his having kidnapped the leader of the largest parliamentary opposition party. Ukraine has no more idea of what statesmanship is than does its clown president.
Ukraine has been ethnically cleansing the Donbass of its Russian population for eight years, and persists in doing that. It seems to feel entitled to do that. This is the sense of entitlement of the criminally insane, or of the radically cultureless primitive.
But then, we should not be surprised. For the first time ever, in 1991, with the dissolution of th Soviet Union, Ukraine acquired defined borders. It had never before been a state. Little wonder it does not know how to be a state.
Culturally, Ukraine is vastly the inferior of the genuine (not mocked up by dubious international treaties) European countries. It has produced no significant art, music literature, scholarship or science. What does it have to consider the basis of its identity as a nation?
Quite clearly, Ukraine is not equipped to be a self-governing European country. It is illegally and secretly hosting foreign-funded bio-labs, and high-ranking military men to conduct the production of deadly viruses/bio-weapons. What other European state does this?
Ukrainians have been murdering the largely Russian Donbass people for 8 years. A nation/a people that behaves like this cannot be allowed to be self-determining. Ukraine’s territory should be reduced to a rump, and its people should be put under the strict supervision and tutelage of their neighbouring Slavic states.
