If these morons are going abroad, to fight for another nation, oblivious to the truth about the situation, I can’t see any other reason why they shouldn’t be used as cannon fodder.

It is an eyeopener and likely not propaganda. But why would a guy like that go there.? Sounds like he had some training with the jargon and likely another merc. Why not ask him how much he was going to be paid and if the money was coming from a US or Brit source on the ground there.
