Ukraine’s President Zelensky addresses the British parliament on March 8, via video link

Rixon Stewart – March 8, 2022

At every turn the Western media is doing its utmost to disparage and smear President Putin and Russia, just as they once did with Saddam Hussein and Iraq. If history is any indication this means that war has already been decided on. In fact that decision was probably made even before Russian troops entered Ukraine.

War with Russia was Plan B. It has been on a back burner ever since Russian-backed President Viktor Yanukovych was ousted from power in 2014. But now with opposition to the vaccine mandates’ mounting worldwide, Plan B is back on the agenda.

No doubt the elite would have preferred mass vaccinations and lockdowns to continue but public resistance was turning into mass protests around the world, so they had little choice. They HAD to provide a diversion or face opposition growing to dangerous proportions.

So just as protests against vaccine mandates grew louder and more vociferous, Russian troops began gathering near the border with Ukraine. As the weeks went by more troops and armour appeared.

If events in Canada were any indication, it would have only been a few months before relatively restrained regional protests turned into an international protest movement. Moreover, many who were opposed to the vaccine mandates were beginning to understand that Covid-19 was part of a wider agenda, with global depopulation the ultimate goal.

This couldn’t be allowed to continue so Plan B, war with Russia, has been put into gear.

You may have noticed that stories about Covid-19 and the need to get vaccinated have all but disappeared from the mainstream media. Only weeks ago they were a staple. Now, almost overnight they’ve been replaced by numerous stories about those evil Russians: how they shelled fleeing Ukrainian refugees, or how they fired missiles at helpless civilians.

That’s not to say these horrors aren’t occurring. They are, they occur in every war but they didn’t get such wide coverage when they happened in Iraq, or Afghanistan, or Libya, or Syria (unless they were carried out by Russians, of course).

Now, these reports are getting around the clock coverage and they are being used to condition the Western public to view Russians as “bad”.

Then having induced us all to see Russia as the enemy the next step has been lined up. Persuade us to accept the idea that war with Russia is inevitable.

As if to underline this, Ukrainian President addressed the British Parliament by video link yesterday. No doubt the Russians will view it as a cynical, calculated appeal, and we share that view because Zelensky made a deliberate point of echoing Churchill when he told MPs that Ukrainians would fight Russians in Ukraine’s cities, fields and riverbanks.

It was of course a paraphrase of Churchill’s famous speech in the early days of World War II when Britain stood alone against Nazi Germany. We would suggest that the object was to appeal to Briton’s collective memory and cast Putin in the role of a new Hitler.

Make no mistake the drive to World War III is underway. Expect to see an increasing number of reports, like the following, in the weeks ahead as the media prepares the Western public for what they want us to believe is “inevitable”. Meaning that war with Russia, and China and probably Iran too, is now most definitely on the agenda. Ed.

Nato fighting Putin ‘is matter of when, not if’ as he’s ‘hell bent on escalation’, former UK general warns

Holly Bancroft – The Independent March 8, 2022

The Nato security alliance faces a stark choice between fighting Putin now or fighting him later, a former senior British military chief has said.

Retired army general, Sir Chris Deverell, revealed he has changed his mind about a no-fly zone over Ukraine and now believes it could be necessary. If imposed it would put Nato aircraft in direct conflict with Russian planes.

Sir Deverell, who until his retirement in 2019 was in charge of military intelligence, cyber and special forces, said that “Putin seems hell bent on escalation.”

He said: “I have been against the imposition of a no-fly zone by Nato in Ukraine, believing that it would surely escalate the conflict.

“But Putin seems hell-bent on escalation. So the question is becoming: does Nato fight him now or fight him later?”

He added, in comments made on Twitter, that the no-fly zone should only be imposed if the West were willing to back it up with on the ground troops.

Sir Deverell added that Putin “will likely respond with nuclear threats”, but said that his threats were likely to be “meaningless”.

He said: “Whatever he can do to us, we can do to him.”

“The risk of course is that Putin is sufficiently mad to prefer a (very!) high scoring draw to a defeat,” he said. “But a) many of those around him may not be equally invested in his plans, and b) there are still possible outcomes that he need not admit as defeat.”

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly called on Western leaders to impose a no-fly zone, warning that “this will become Europe’s problem” if the US and Nato countries don’t act.
