Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine on Thursday with explosions heard soon after in the capital and other parts of the country, prompting outrage from Joe Biden who warned of a “catastrophic loss of life.”
Weeks of intense diplomacy and the imposition of Western sanctions failed to deter Putin, who had massed between 150,000 and 200,000 troops along the borders of Ukraine.
“I have made the decision of a military operation,” Putin said in a surprise television announcement shortly before 6:00am (0300 GMT) in Moscow.
He also called on Ukrainian soldiers to lay down their arms, claiming he wanted a “demilitarisation” of the former Soviet state but not its occupation.
An AFP reporter in Kyiv heard explosions within about 30 minutes of Putin’s announcement. Explosions were also heard in the eastern city of Mariupol, according to AFP.
U.S. President Biden announced he would address the nation Thursday on “consequences” for Russia and said the world would “hold Russia accountable” for its actions.
He said a Russian attack would cause “catastrophic loss of life and human suffering.”
Putin’s announcement statement came after the Kremlin said rebel leaders in eastern Ukraine had asked Moscow for military help against Kyiv.
In response, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky made an emotional late-night appeal to Russians not to support a “major war in Europe”.
Speaking Russian, Zelenskiy said that the people of Russia are being lied to about Ukraine and that the possibility of war also “depends on you.”
“Who can stop (the war)? People. These people are among you, I am sure,” he said.
Zelenskiy said he had tried to call Putin but there was “no answer, only silence,” adding that Moscow now had around 200,000 soldiers near Ukraine’s borders.
On Wednesday the separatist leaders of Donetsk and Lugansk sent separate letters to Putin, asking him to “help them repel Ukraine’s aggression,” Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
The two letters were published by Russian state media and were both dated Feb. 22.
Their appeals came after Putin recognised their independence and signed friendship treaties with them that include defence deals.

I did say late February or early March. It appears the purpose is to destroy the military infrastructure, which is a pretty broad remit. And as I said, the West/NATO has been warned that any interference in this operation to purge UKraine of Nazis will result in consequences never seen before. Putin actually said this on camera. What Putin is saying is that he is prepared to use nukes on any country that messes with this operation. The US might heed this warning, but I doubt the UK deep state will actually register this statement. So we’ll see what happens. Apparently, UKraine border guards have put up zero resistance. Let’s hope the regular UKraine military will do the same, leaving the SAS and MI6 mercenaries to their fate.
We are now milliseconds to midnight. Russia has been bullied by the West for 20yrs, mainly by the UK and US. Russia has been gaslighted by NATO, & Putin has been mocked by numerous political, & military flunkies. The Russians will have meticulously gamed all scenario’s, and in my honest opinion, it doesn’t look good. I’ve been saying for a very long time that Russia should turn off the gas to Europe. This is a very real possibility, & this will result in countless factory closures. Europe gets 40% of its gas from Russia. The UK gets at least 17%, probably more, from Russia. Russia has a massive grip on precious metals, including titanium. So the knock on effect to Western tech is massive. On the other hand, Western sanctions will actually hurt the West more than Russia. EU businesses have lost nearly €300 billion in trade with Russia, & all for nothing. As has been clearly stated, Putin doesn’t give a xxxx about sanctions. Russia has a gas pipe supplying China, and 2 more pipes which are much bigger are being built right now, so very easy to see EU gas going to China and others. I believe Japan also wants Russian gas.
Essentially two Imperialist powers are once again trashing Europe, because they are morally and financially bankrupt, and at the end of the day, we can blame the thicko sheeple for this mess by consistently voting for the one party state here and in the US.
I believe the Russian mindset is very close to the final solution. 20yrs of bullying and gas lighting, do you really believe this Imperialist behaviour can continue for, lets say, another 10yrs? I don’t, and I don’t think the Russians think it can continue, and I think China is also moving through their own period of bullying and gas lighting.
We are getting good fake news reports that many Ukraine troops are abandoneding their positions. While this is an early report and should not be taken as fact, it does look promising.

I listened to the statement given by President Biden a day or so away and could not believe that the U.S. has fallen through the rabbit hole. While American society and leadership have been concentrating on issues ‘Liberalising all deviant behavior’ and teaching the modern leaders of the land that sit within its classrooms, Russia has kept on track by teaching its youth in the sciences and avoiding the traps of so-called liberal thinking.
The United States has no legitimate national security interest in Ukraine and should stay the f*ck out of the way. The powers of the JEWnited States, however, will continue to gut the morally and fiscally bankrupt US like a flopping, gasping fish and burn the world to the ground to serve the interests of the satanic Jew World Order.

You don’t have to be a genius to see that the supposedly ‘independent, non-NATO’ puppet government of Ukraine would be used as a launchpad for a NATO first strike on Russia.
