The Russian Foreign Minister has warned that ‘the nightmare scenario’ of military conflicts in Europe is returning as tensions continue to escalate over the situation in Ukraine.
Addressing the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) today, Sergei Lavrov said that tensions are continuing to rise on the continent – which could result in war.
In his speech Lavrov also said he hoped that Russia’s proposals on a new European security pact would be carefully considered.
‘The architecture of strategic stability is rapidly being destroyed, NATO refuses to constructively examine our proposals to de-escalate tensions and avoid dangerous incidents,’ Lavrov said.
‘On the contrary, the alliance’s military infrastructure is drawing closer to Russia’s borders. The nightmare scenario of military confrontation is returning.’
It comes as the Kremlin today said that Kiev’s desire to retake Crimea – which Moscow seized in 2014 – is a ‘direct threat’ and has ordered Russian troops to remain on ‘combat readiness’ amid speculation of an invasion of Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov today said that Moscow is worried about the possibility of a Ukrainian military move in eastern Ukraine, despite reports that Russia has deployed close to 100,000 troops near the border in recent weeks.
Moscow has insisted it has no intention to invade and accused Ukraine and its Western backers of making up the claims to cover up their own allegedly aggressive designs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had said on Wednesday that Crimea was Ukrainian territory and Kiev’s goal was to ‘liberate’ it.
He focused however on diplomatic solutions and made no mention of taking the peninsula by force.
‘Speaking in parliament, Zelensky said that the return of Crimea should be the main goal and philosophy of Ukraine,’ Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters this morning.
‘We see this as a direct threat to Russia. Such wording of course means that the Kiev regime intends to use all available means – including force – in order to encroach on a Russian region. This is how we are leaning towards perceiving it.’
Troops have been instructed by Defence Minister and Army General Sergei Shoigu to stay on alert at their posts on two weekends covering both 18 and 25 December.
It comes as top Russian and US diplomats meet in Stockholm, Sweden, today to hold talks over the build-up of Russian military on the Ukrainian border.
US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin today said that an invasion of Ukraine would be met with a response from ‘the international community’, while US secretary of state Anthony Blinken warned of ‘high-impact sanctions’.
“The US said a Russian invasion of Ukraine will incur an international response.”
So what, the Russians don’t care. Sanctions don’t work, so what will the Blinkin Pussy Boy do?
Russia has mobilised its military for very good reasons. The Russians believe NATO will station missile systems in Ukraine, &/or Ukraine will try and retake Crimea. But you won’t hear this view in the fake news, & don’t expect Western sheeple to consider it, because it’s not even on their radar.
There’s a huge problem with the ‘European security pact’, in that the US, UK, Canada, & Israel are not politically engaged in Europe, they don’t give a xxxt about Europe, so why would Russia bother with this waste of space initiative?
The only way back for Russian relations with the West is that Putin retires or dies, & a new leader decides to allow the City and Wall St. to pillage Russian resources and ruin the country. So if Russians don’t want this ‘likely’ future, then they need to start playing rough, & turn off the gas so that Europeans & little Englanders have this crisis shoved up their noses so it makes contact with their thicko sheeple brains.
Turn off the RUSSIAN gas to Ukraine. Let’s see how blue those Nazi balls get. Stop Ukraine from getting gas transit fees. Force the price of gas so high, that dumb ass Amerikans feel the real cold. Its -6/7C in Berlin and Warsaw.

Western elites starting war against Russia is likely their fall-back position if it becomes clear too many are going to say no to forced liquidation. Because if they fail it won’t just end with no then we forget it all then move on. It must end in the arrest and trial of every evil degenerate involved in this worldwide genocide.
It’s also nice to think that if Russia’s response is overwhelming and the war is short and ends the west as a political force, then unlike the Nazis the elites will have nowhere in the world to run to. They’ll be bolting from America not to it; and they took too many liberties with South America to ever be welcomed there.
In the interests of a green new world and regulated climate, it might be best if the Anglo America empire plus Europe and Israel lets Russia keep Crimea.

I would tend to believe Lovrov if Russia was not following the same lockstep Covid script as every other international-bankster puppet nation which signed UN Agendas 21 and 2030. Despite his nation having exhibited some independence in being “Covid-lite” with its death numbers staying at the world average (compared to the leading NATO nations of the US, the UK, France, Spain, Italy in posting well over 5 times the world average with all of their fakery and control of health polices, numbers, and the media), Russia is still playing the Covid game.
Having even a tighter control on information going out to its people than in the West, we know very little about any of the adverse effects of the Sputnik vaccines, if any. However, as it now proven in the West that vaccines were never necessary for the virus, and especially with the very treatment protocols which were suppressed for those actually seriously sick, it is clear that the Russian authorities would have been aware as was India at the outset of those same cures – nullifying any real and justified concern for any vaccines. Yet Russia played the Covid game in a very significant way. It was the first to shut down its border to China and rolled out on cue its own vaccines, coincidentally and miraculously at the same time as Pfizer, Moderna and J & J released their brands. Russia then went ahead in totalitarian fashion to impose its vaccine on its own population (that is, unless most of its people actually received placebos or saline shots instead -unbeknown to them or to us).

Hmm.. My picture is , of Ukraine Troops taking Crimea within 24 Hrs & next they will be parading on the Red Square in Moscow within 48Hrs ? Of course they will be escorted by Russian Troops & after the parade they will be sent to Holiday Resort Camps in Magadan & Kolyma as a reward ?? I hope that Vicky will send them cookies ?
What the US and its NATO puppets have failed to consider is that much of the Ukrainian military will go over to the Russians.

@ Aclexa The “errors of Russia” were that the Russians did not eventually slaughter every Jew in sight for the horrifically egregious crimes of the Jew-led Bolsheviks and Jew-contrived Communists. During the Bolshevik Jew rampage, tens of millions of Russians, primarily Christians, were murdered outright, tens of millions more starved to death, countless churches were burned to the ground, farms were destroyed, and countless other horrific acts perpetrated, all at the hands of maniacal Jews, the destroyers. Then the Jew “oligarchs” looted everything they could during the fall of communism there. How has even one Jew been allowed to remain alive or out of prison in Russia? It is to their own demise that Russia allows even one stinking Jew in the country.
