NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg warned Russia on Monday that the western military alliance was standing by Ukraine amid a large and unusual concentration of Russian troops on Ukraine’s borders.
Stressing that the important thing now was to prevent situations from spiralling out of control, Stoltenberg urged Russia to be transparent about military activities, to reduce tensions and prevent an escalation.
“We have to be clear-eyed, we need to be realistic about the challenges we face. And what we see is a significant, large Russian military build-up,” Stoltenberg told a news conference with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Brussels.
He said he did not want to speculate about Russia’s intentions but added: “We see an unusual concentration of troops, and we know that Russia has been willing to use these types of military capabilities before to conduct aggressive actions against Ukraine.”
The Russian troop movements have over the past days spurred fears of a possible attack. Moscow has dismissed such suggestions as inflammatory and complained about increasing activity in the region by the NATO transatlantic alliance.

Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 and says the waters around it belong to Moscow now, despite most countries continuing to recognise the peninsula as Ukrainian.
Russian-backed separatists took control of Ukraine’s eastern Donbass region that same year and soldiers on both sides continue to be regularly killed in the conflict there.
The troop border build-up – which Ukraine last week estimated at 100,000 – was dangerous, said Stoltenberg, because it reduced the amount of warning time, should Russia decide to “conduct a military aggressive action against Ukraine.”
“This is partly forces close to the border between Russia and Ukraine, but it is also partly troops and capabilities which are inside Ukraine, meaning they are in Crimea, which is illegally annexed, and also we see the militants, the separatists in Donbass, which is also part of Ukraine, supported and helped by Russia,” he said.
A NATO source, asked to describe how Russia is going about deploying its military equipment towards Ukraine, said: “large equipment such as tanks, self-propelled artillery and infantry fighting vehicles is moved at night to avoid tell-tale pictures showing up on social media as they did during the Russian military build-up in spring.”
“It can go either way,” Lithuania’s foreign minister Gabrielius Landsbergis told reporters, also on Monday, on the margins of a meeting with his European Union counterparts.
The West cannot exclude a Russian attack on Ukraine while international attention is focused on the Belarus migration crisis, or that Russia establishes a permanent military presence in Belarus, he said.
“I would not exclude that as a possibility,” he said.
Maybe Jens Stoltenberg can be clear about Ukraine joining NATO? Warning? The Russians really don’t give a monkey what Stoltenberg has to say. Maybe he should check in with CIA director Burns?

Reuters – The English mouthpiece of all Rothschild warmongering interests, paints a picture of Russia being the aggressor by allegedly massing troops on the Ukrainian border. Russia, which is a nation surrounded by Western and mostly hostile US and UK military basis on all sides is now going to leap out and snatch the Ukraine to drain its own coffers even further?? Give me a break. The Ukraine is no prise strategically or otherwise to either the West or to Russia. It is a nation which really cannot stand on its own two feet without massive support, except perhaps that it is still a breadbasket of sorts.
The article being of Reuters origin must mean that there is actually some Western aggression in the wind. Perhaps a deal has been worked out where the Rothschild nations will invade Syria and then go on to demolish Iran and in exchange Russia back off out of Syria will be allowed to take over the Ukraine as a sort of a buffer nation for its own security. It is already a one-world-order run by absolute monsters, and any actual integrity our nations or even Russia had is long gone.
Alternatively, with the war against us (the people) on the Covid front going so poorly for them right now with their killer jabs, they may be looking for some dramatic diversion on the geopolitical front, or may use the Covid and vaccine controversy as a way to neutralize opposition to their machinations in the ME for a Greater-Israel, silk-road, trading hub, which is the main long-term Rothschild objective.
What does Russia really want? It wants sovereignty over its own borders, people, resources, currency and industries and to be able to sell its resources and goods mainly to Europe and other Asian nations.
What does the Rothschild (the US, Western Europe, Israeli, Chinese corporate-industrial empire want? It wants everything.
A plebiscite was conducted by Russia and Crimea, some ten years ago or so, to ask the people of Crimea if they wanted to rejoin Russia. They overwhelmingly voted to rejoin. So that’s the end of it – Crimea is part of Russia and its territorial waters are legitimately Russia’s. So Russia did not annex Crimea. If there’s a war, the west led by the United States would be to blame.
The usual doublethink.
Several years ago, prompted by Britain and the US, Poland and Lithuania were intending to attack the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. Fortunately, the Russians had penetrated their military and stopped the attack simply by publishing the entire plan, right down to the last detail.
It is NATO that is the problem here. Russia is merely preparing itself for the inevitable Western provocation.

The woke pussies of nato and the US wouldn’t stand a chance in hell. It would likely be a massacre. I estimate Russia to take Ukraine in 30 days or less. This won’t be Libya or Iraq or Afghanistan where they owned the sky. They will be eviscerated on the Black Sea. The Black Sean and the Sea of Azov will be a Russian lake.
They would have to resort to nukes. Then everybody loses.
