At least five people have been killed at Kabul airport as thousands of people tried desperately to get on flights out of Afghanistan amid increasingly chaotic scenes.
US troops fired shots in the air at Hama Karzai airport to prevent hundreds of civilians running onto the tarmac after they took over Afghanistan’s air traffic control. Witnesses said it was not clear whether the victims were killed by gunshots or in a stampede.
Panicked Afghans were also seen climbing up the outside of an airbridge in a bid to get onboard planes.
All commercial services have been suspended, with only military flights leaving the country as the UK, US and other western countries repatriate their citizens.
The Taliban swept into the capital on Sunday after the Western-backed government collapsed and President Ashraf Ghani fled the country, bringing a stunning end to a two-decade campaign in which the US and its allies had tried to transform the country.
The US Embassy has been evacuated and the American flag lowered, with diplomats relocating to the airport in scenes reminiscent of the evacuation of the embassy of Saigon in 1975. Other Western countries have also closed their missions and are flying out staff and civilians.
Almost all major checkpoints in Kabul were under Taliban control by Monday morning and Afghanistan’s Civil Aviation Authority issued an advisory saying the ‘civilian side’ of the airport had been ‘closed until further notice’ and that the military controlled the airspace.
Taliban officials said everyone would be allowed to return home from Kabul airport if they decide to stay in the country and promised civilians would not be harmed. The group previously said westerners would be allowed to leave the country but that Afghans would be barred from departing.
US troops are guarding the airport and have taken over air traffic control, but all non-military flights are grounded. Early Monday morning, flight-tracking data showed no immediate commercial flights over the country.
Video posted social media showed hundreds of people scampering with their luggage toward the safety of the airport terminal with the sound of gunfire breaking out.
I’d say that the only real winners in this debacle are the MIC and the drug running CIA. Over two TRILLION dollars of taxpayer dollars squandered, hundreds of thousands dead and now the most extreme Islamist group takes power. It’s very reminiscent of what happened in Indochina and you’d think that people would have learned by now to never trust the American government. As Kissinger stated, ‘America doesn’t have allies, only interests’, and that demon would know. Only Israel ever seems to benefit from its alliance with the US, mainly because it and its agents control the place.
All those young men (as it looked to be largely young men) at the airport…what if instead of fighting each other to get on a plane, they fought the Taliban? A simplistic view from a safe distance perhaps, but it’s always a few against the many.

Note: Not all Afghans are against Taliban. In fact there has been literally no resistance at all, Taliban took the country extremely fast and easy. The puppet government US put in charge in Afghanistan was so bad, most afghans wouldn’t care if Taliban would take over.
Meanwhile in Iran the idiot liberal and westernized people who had voted for Rohani and criticized IRGC for entering the conflict in Syria and Iraq against ISIS… now shed crocodile tears and criticized IRGC for not helping neighboring Afghanistan and shed tears for raped Afghan women at the hands of Taliban! They showed no sensitivity when ISIS zombies were doing worse in the region. It is obvious they breath and live for US interests, Iran is not crazy to go to war with Taliban for the following reasons:
1- Asharf Qani, US installed puppet was very anti-Iran.
2- Afghan puppet government, never asked Iran for help, unlike governments in Syria and Iraq that officially asked for help.
3- The US trained and equipped Afghan military had no will to fight Taliban with just light weapons! Mostly ran away.
4- Afghan people themselves had no will to fight Taliban.
5- US and Zionist would love to see a new Shiite-Sunni war in the region.
6- Taliban is extremely primitive and incapable of running a state, so they have said they want to form a new national government with the help of all Afghans and they want to rebuild the country. And they claim to be Anti-American!
7- They have entered most cities in peace. once again there have been almost no resistance at all! Taliban has assured Shiite Afghans and Iran too that they would not cause any problems for the Shiite population there.
In contrast see the Iranian trained Afghans that fought ISIS, known as Fatemioun, ISIS would run away from them! Fatemioon fought ISIS alongside other Shiite coalition forces from other countries and have been extremely effective, these guys are battle-hardened and ready too, but the Resistance Axis led by Iran’s Supreme Leader only moves in wisodm! The Fatemioon have the Taliban assurances and so there is no need for a new war in Afghanistan, besides both Russia and US were not able to eliminate Taliban anyway after decades, a new Sunni-Shiite war would only benefit Globalists and Zionists, even Taliban seems to understand this!
Now they say Taliban has raped Afghans and done crazy stuff… note that ISIS in Syria and Iraq was multinational so they wouldn’t care for Syrian women of different race or religion, Taliban on the other hand are Afghans in their own country, some of the stuff circulating is from the past. Taliban has said, they have changed their ways!! To say they rape their own women in Herat is unrealistic. Sure, we can’t trust them… but they seem to have advanced a couple of steps in the evolution path. Once again they can’t run a state, and they are not bright! But they are a reality.
True many have escaped to Iran and Pakistan and try to run away… but not all Afghans feel threatened by Taliban and normal life is going on in most cities there. Many are even happy!
As for US, the waste of money and loss of objectives speaks for itself.
