The only thing America understands is violence, and the only thing that’ll stop them is greater violence. That’s why they spent twenty years losing in Afghanistan, because Afghanistan didn’t have the means to deliver greater violence to the invaders in a very short time. It took the punch-drink idiots two decades to realise they were being slapped around, but eventually the cumulative effects made them realise they just took a severe beating.
Going up against Russia they realise they’re going to get a severe beating all at once. But that won’t stop them whipping up an alliance to share the losses, so Russia going to have to slap us all around or lose, and I don’t think it contemplates losing.
