Introduction – Aug 1, 2019

In June a very perceptive clairvoyant friend reiterated an earlier warning that the U.S. was making preparations for war with Iran. We take note of what he says as he has a very good track record. He often “sees” things years before they happen, sometimes decades.
In the 1990’s he warned of a U.S. led invasion of Iraq, although at the time he didn’t specify that it would happen in 2003. He also foresaw the strife in Syria years before it took hold. Above all though he has repeatedly warned of U.S. plans for war with Iran.
He lives on the other side of the world and for a while we heard little from him. Then in late May this year he emailed us again to warn that U.S. plans for war with Iran were back on track. Almost on cue, in the weeks that followed a variety of incidents/false flags took place that prompted Britain to send more warships to the Persian Gulf. While the U.S. sent Patriot air defence systems, B52 bombers and the USS Abraham Lincoln strike group to the region.
June followed and David Goldberg, who had earlier warned that Trump was planning a strike on Iran, was found dead in suspicious circumstances. Goldberg’s untimely demise only served to underline his warning that the Trump administration was planning a strike on Iran this fall.
Now the Moscow Times reports that Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the U.S. is looking for a pretext to strike Iran. As if to deter a U.S. strike, Russia has warned that if the U.S. and allies go-ahead Iran will not be alone. The implication of this clearly being that Russia, and maybe China, may stand with Iran.
Will Trump heed this warning? Or is he blinded by his political ambitions and egoism? We will know soon enough. Ed.

Russia Senses U.S. Wants Pretext for Persian Gulf Conflict

Reuters via Moscow Times – Aug 1, 2019

Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday it had the impression that the United States was looking for a pretext for conflict in the Persian Gulf, the state-run RIA news agency reported.

“Events there are really moving to a dangerous point and there are risks of a large-scale military clash,” RIA cited Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying.

“In principle we have the sense that Washington is simply looking for a pretext to whip up the situation, continue its aggressive rhetoric towards Iran, and to shift to a hotter more active phase of the conflict.”

Zakharova told the same news briefing that a U.S. move to create a naval mission in the Strait of Hormuz looked like a crude attempt to pressure Iran.
