The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was Only an Extension of Longstanding African Practices
The slave trade had existed for centuries in Asia and the Middle East, with the active participation of many African tribes, before the British took part. The irony is that it was Britain that eventually ended the global slave trade. Yet demands for ‘reparations’ are being directed at Britain. Are those making these demands ignorant. or just wilfully blind?
