In honor of June, “Gay Pride” month, I re-post the classic 1995 essay by Charles Socarides, a psychiatrist who treated hundreds of gays for arrested development over his 40-year-career and cured about a third.

We have compassion and affection for individual gays who often are very kind, and talented. It’s not their fault that their mothers were overbearing or they were abused as youths. For more than 20 years, I and a few psychiatrists have felt like an embattled minority, because we have continued to insist that gays aren’t born that way.
For most of this (20th) century, we have considered this behavior aberrant…a pathology. We had patients who would seek out one sex partner after another-total strangers-on a single night, then come limping into our offices the next day to tell us how they were hurting themselves. Since we were in the business of helping people learn how not to keep hurting themselves, many of us thought we were quietly doing God’s work.
Now, in the opinion of those who make up the so-called cultural elite, our view is “out of date.” The elite says we hurt people more than we help them, and that we belong in one of the century’s dustbins. They have managed to sell this idea to a great many Americans, thereby making homosexuality fashionable and raising formerly aberrant behavior to the status of an “alternate lifestyle.”…

But the male can not see the face masked female sexual signals, nor can he kiss a receptive female.
So if you think about it, it is all the same agenda – reduce the population by any means – and in Ukraine they just culled 500,000 white Christian boys and destroyed many abodes. So war is another good way to get rid of useless eaters – which is why some analysts are saying they are streaming in millions of military aged illegals into Amerika for an upcoming genocidal culling of whites. I think that if the Covid kill off fails the elites will seriously consider going to option B – nuclear war with a nice big genocidal killing in the aftermath, or something like that. It is obvious that they are waging war on us, and gays are caught up in this agenda. But like the Jewish issue, is there such a thing as a good gay? There are many gay churches now– which is a joke – because the Bible condemns homosexuality in the harshest of terms. According to Genesis, God wants you to be fruitful and multiply, and homos are going against God’s agenda.
Our society has normalized homosexuals, and made it a crime to go against them. But what does the Bible say?

Christians know this story well – which is why Christians are nervous, if not extremely upset, that their nation has gone full tilt degenerate. If you believe in a God of justice, Amerika is in need of a big judgment, otherwise God needs to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.
And how did we end up on this slippery slope to hell? We tolerated gays. It is intuitively obvious that homosexuality is not normal. This is inherent in the human mindset. Consider, for instance, that nobody ever thinks of the possibility that the heterosexual state is abnormal. And biologically, heterosexuality is normal because it , not homosexuality, is the pre-condition of the human system of reproductivity. (Certainly, the homosexual male is equipped to engage in reproduction, as is the case also for the homosexual female. Some do so engage. More on this below.)
Is there a moral dimension of what I have said above? There is, inasmuch as the fully heterosexual male or female is deeply revolted by the bisexual partner’s homosexual activities … when he/she discovers them. And therein lies a moral dimension: It is in the deception of the normal sexuality of the heterosexual person by the aberrant sexuality of the bi-sexual person. The major moral dimension is in the aggressive intent to normalise homo- and bisexuality as the moral equivalents of heterosexuality. Neither is; both are the perversions of it. Evidence of this is in the heterosexuals’ propensity to be disgusted by both.
Should a proclivity to homosexuality be cured? I do not believe it can be.
