Former US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed Sunday that high-level strategy meetings are underway to discuss the potential use of nuclear weapons against Iran.
“I’m not speculating, I know. And it’s pure evil,” Greene wrote on US social media platform X. She did not provide evidence to substantiate the claim.
Greene alleged that the US government was considering lowering the threshold for nuclear weapons use despite President Donald Trump’s repeated claims of victory in the war and assertions that Washington has control over the Strait of Hormuz.
She accused the administration of disregarding internal intelligence assessments that suggested Tehran was not close to developing a nuclear weapon and instead favoring Israeli claims.
Greene argued that the resulting military campaign had caused widespread civilian suffering and led to Iranian control over regional energy corridors.
The former lawmaker warned that such an escalation could trigger a global “nuclear holocaust,” leading to an economic depression and unprecedented casualties.
“America is not untouchable,” Greene said, urging the public to stop what she called the “insanity.”
She added that current leaders would be held responsible by history if a nuclear conflict occurred.
The White House did not immediately respond to Anadolu’s request for comment on the allegations.

A commenter elsewhere said something that’s worth consideration. He wonders if the supposed attack on Trump aboard Air Force One was an actual planned false flag attack to strike the jet and enable the US to use nukes on Iran, but perhaps somebody within the command structure said no?
There’s another Air Force One ready to use which Trump says he’s keeping as it was a personal gift, but I suppose it’s just as likely Trump could have used his apparent death to disappear from public view and escape the mess he’s pushed us all into. Sightings of him would be called crazy conspiracies but he has the means to move around unseen and many places to go and lie low for the last few years of his life. Golf is his weakness and he may be spotted playing so he could go to some dictator’s playground of the rich to play golf, and maybe spend most of his time there.

Does a nuclear chain reaction occur when nuclear power is generated?
Yes. Nuclear power plants generate electricity using a controlled nuclear chain reaction.

Are atmospheric chain reactions possible?
Yes—but not in the same sense as the chain reaction inside a nuclear reactor.

So if you’re asking specifically “Could a nuclear explosion start a nuclear chain reaction that spreads through Earth’s atmosphere?”, the answer is no, under known physics and Earth’s atmospheric conditions.

America’s threat to nuke Iran is a catch-22 for Iran. On one hand if they do develop or acquire nukes as a deterrent, and that is discovered, then that will be a “told-you-so” event for the USrael murderers and plunderers and the next thing we will see is a preemptive strike against Iran,which option USrael wants the most for a “speedy” capitulation of Iran. On the other hand, if Iran does not develop or acquire nukes then they have no deterrent from such a preemptive strike anyway, and even one based on USrael lies that they have them. Nor do they have any real deterrent, other then controlling the Straight of Hormuz, from the present war of attrition and siege to a privation state of internal and eventual capitulation, which in what USrael is doing now as their second choice. However, time is running out more for USrael on the world stage because most nations understand that if not for the heinous USrael aggression against Iran, Lebanon, and the Palestinians, the Straight of Hormuz would be completely open and there would be no alleged shortages of oil or fertilizers for any nations.
Sooner or later, despite all of the political, technocratic, mental and biological controls imposed on people by the thoroughly corrupt money power running things, the people will erupt and there will be a just war for truth, freedom, justice, trust and peace wiping all of the crooks and their thugs away.

I heard from two internet news spots that Iran has the bomb. So frigging what? They could have clouded Israel with poison gas much easier.
