Reform UK has set out plans to revolutionise the welfare state that would see almost three million UK people’s disability and sickness payments withdrawn or modified.
The problem is migrants flocking here for our benefits system
Under the plans, Reform would abolish personal independence payments (Pip) and the health element of Universal credit for working-age adults, The Telegraph reports. Reform’s Treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick claimed that the proposals would cut £50 billion from the budgets
He said that Reform would introduce a new, regularly-reviewed, health security allowance that would provide support only for the “gravely ill and severely challenged”.

•A Somali man involved in a fight, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after police were called
to a migrant hotel used to house asylum seekers.
Armed officers went to the Stanwell Hotel, just south of Heathrow Airport, at about 6.30pm to investigate reports of a stabbing.
The victim – a man in his 30s – hasn’t been named, but Surrey Police said they were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
