USS Lincoln in FATAL Mutiny, Iran FORCES US Navy to TURN on Itself | Larry Johnson

A sanitised Newsweek version of events follows. Note that there is no mention of mutiny. Instead Newsweek focuses on “safety concerns” not a near mutiny aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.
This is how the mainstream media now functions: they play down news reports that reflect badly on the policies of the powers that be, (such as surging migrant crime in the West). While they highlight the ‘threat’ posed by Russia, China and Iran.
In effect, the western mainstream media functions as part of the propaganda apparatus for the emergent New World Order. Ed.
USS Abraham Lincoln Sailors Try To Jump Overboard as Safety Concerns Mount
Ellie Cook – Newsweek Aug 12, 2026
At least two U.S. Navy sailors have attempted to jump overboard on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, according to family members of the crew, after concerns were raised during an extended deployment for the war with Iran.
The aircraft carrier left the U.S. in November and was rerouted from the Pacific to the Middle East as the White House prepared to launch its war on Tehran at the end of February.
Relatives of the roughly 5,000 sailors and Marines who have spent more than eight months aboard the Lincoln have raised the alarm over supply shortages, long work schedules and fears over the potential for self-harm, in multiple reports published in the past week.
More than 200 family members of the sailors met last week with Hung Cao, the acting secretary of the Navy, according to the specialist media outlet Stars and Stripes.
A second meeting, which took place virtually, between top Navy officials and loved ones of the sailors and Marines on the Lincoln also discussed concerns over mental health and safety, according to recordings seen by MS Now.
Cao said the Lincoln would be relieved by the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier group but did not specify when, the outlet reported.
What Is the USS Abraham Lincoln Crew Morale?
Annabelle Loma said her husband was “burnt out” and had attempted to jump overboard from the Lincoln during the current deployment.
He is “scared” he may be dishonorably discharged from the U.S. military, she told the Navy Times.
Maria Rodriguez told the outlet that in a separate incident, her husband, who is also on the aircraft carrier, pulled a shipmate on deck as they were preparing to go overboard.
What the Navy Has Said About the Lincoln
The Pentagon declined to comment when approached by Newsweek on Wednesday, referring queries to the U.S. Navy, which has been contacted for comment.
The Navy previously said it was committed to “listening to our families, supporting our servicemembers, and ensuring the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group has the resources needed to safely and successfully accomplish its mission.”
A carrier strike group is the overall force that travels with the aircraft carrier itself, including destroyers and aircraft, to carry out operations wherever the carrier is sent.
Most carrier deployments are between six and seven months, although they can be drawn out under certain circumstances. There will typically be port calls throughout this period to refuel and allow crew members to rest.
The Lincoln‘s deployment was scheduled to end in May, and it remains unclear when the carrier strike group will return to the U.S.
