The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has accused the Israeli occupation army of carrying out a large-scale and organized operation to clear and process rubble from neighborhoods and facilities they have destroyed in the Gaza Strip, transferring the debris from areas under their military control to locations outside the enclave.
“This is occurring without any official record of the quantities removed or independent oversight, and before international and local investigative committees have had the chance to survey, examine, and document the sites. This risks destroying crucial evidence of genocide and the remains of victims still unaccounted for under the rubble,” Euro-Med said in a press release on Monday.
Euro-Med explained that “these operations are not part of organized humanitarian efforts to rescue the missing, open roads, or prepare for reconstruction. Instead, Israel is acting unilaterally within closed areas under its military control by demolishing remaining buildings and then crushing, mixing, and transporting the rubble before forensic teams, evidence experts, and unexploded ordnance specialists can examine, document, and preserve the sites, along with the evidence and human remains.”
The “Gaza Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment,” jointly released by the World Bank, the United Nations, and the European Union in April 2026, estimated that roughly 68 million tons of rubble were scattered across the Gaza Strip, based on destruction documented up to October 2025. However, their report noted that this figure may not reflect damage from subsequent demolitions and ongoing destruction, according to the rights group.
Euro-Med said that in recent weeks, it tracked nearly 100 Israeli trucks daily leaving the Gaza Strip with debris. “These trucks carry rubble to undisclosed sites within Israel and further south of the occupied West Bank.
“The Israeli authorities have not provided details on the quantities removed, the routes taken, the destination sites, or how the material is utilized. They also have not permitted independent oversight of the sorting, weighing, or transport processes. This lack of transparency makes it very difficult to trace the transported material, identify evidence, or recover any human remains that might be present,” Euro-Med underlined.
“The systematic removal of rubble at this pace conceals the evidence of appalling crimes Israel committed in Gaza, especially those related to genocide, such as summary executions and killing unarmed civilians. These sites need careful examination and thorough criminal investigation before any intervention that might change or erase their features,” Euro-Med affirmed.
“The debris scattered throughout the Gaza Strip includes possible locations of unlawful killings and bombings that targeted entire families, as well as sites believed to contain mass graves or bodies buried within destroyed homes, hospitals, shelters, and civilian facilities,” it added.
“This deliberate removal of evidence occurs when the International Criminal Court (ICC) is still investigating crimes in Palestine, alongside other cases under universal jurisdiction in national courts. Destroying crime scenes before investigations are finished hampers legal accountability and complicates efforts by international investigators and prosecutors to establish facts, as vital evidence may be lost once removed from the Gaza Strip.”
Euro-Med urged the international community to pressure Israel to immediately and fully stop all rubble removal and transport activities in Gaza.
“The international community, including the Security Council, the UN General Assembly, and states parties to the Rome Statute, must urgently intervene to halt the systematic removal and transport of rubble from the Gaza Strip. They should also advocate for independent international forensic and criminal investigation teams to be granted access to assess and document the destruction sites before any further removal or transport occurs, ensuring that physical evidence is preserved to hold those responsible for genocide accountable,” it said.

Leaked emails appear to show that Yahav Lichner, a UN official who now heads UNICEF’s Washington office, repeatedly supplied Israeli diplomats with confidential UN documents, private meeting accounts, and information about internal deliberations during 2014 and 2015.
The correspondence comes from a hacked database belonging to Ron Prosor, the Israeli regime’s permanent representative to the UN from 2011 to 2015, American outlet Drop Site reported on Wednesday. The emails were obtained by the pro-Palestinian hacking group Handala and later published by Distributed Denial of Secrets, a US-based whistleblower.
At the time, Lichner was working for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), having previously worked at the regime’s UN mission. The material shows him continuing to communicate with former Israeli colleagues while providing information concerning UN discussions on the Palestinian territories.
In February 2015, Lichner sent Prosor and Israeli diplomat Ronny Leshno-Yaar a confidential report on a Washington trip by then-UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein.
“For your eyes only. Do not forward,” Lichner wrote, describing the document as a “classified internal summary of Zeid’s meetings in Washington.”

Arianna Hamilton, a former Burger King employee in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, was dismissed on 4 August 2026 after telling an Israeli customer ‘Free Palestine’ during a food order. The exchange was filmed, posted online, and viewed millions of times within days. A crowdfunding campaign launched by Hamilton in the aftermath has since raised more than £78,000 ($100,000). Later figures have pushed the total past £104,000 ($133,000).einstein recorded part of the exchange and asked Hamilton to repeat the remark, which she did on camera. He said in a video posted online that he felt threatened by the comment, requested a refund, and left the restaurant without his order. He went on to question publicly whether Burger King was a safe environment for Jewish customers.
Hamilton gave a different account in a video posted to Instagram. She said Feinstein initially told her he was from New Jersey before showing his Star of David necklace and identifying himself as Israeli, and made mention of her colour which prompted her comment. She has maintained that the remark reflected her personal political views rather than hostility directed at Feinstein specifically, and has said she does not intend to retract or apologise.
Hamilton said she was informed she was being dismissed for discriminating against a customer and for using hate speech. She has publicly rejected that characterisation, saying her intention was not to spread her opinion ‘I will forever speak on my views,’ she said in comments reported by Roya News, adding that she would ‘never be scared by jewish threats
