Centrifuges at Iran’s Natanz nuclear enrichment facility
Iran has “no choice” but to develop a nuclear bomb, a media outlet linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said — the latest threat to the peace deal.
The article, titled “No choice but to build the atomic bomb,” claims that Iran must negotiate with its enemies from a position of strength, and was published by Iranian state news outlet Fars on Sunday.
“To achieve the peace and calm that Iran needs, it must absolutely reach nuclear deterrence to ensure that the rest of the issues can be resolved through negotiation,” thunders the piece, before comparing Iran’s situation with the US to that of China in the 1970s.
“America threatened China with nuclear attack twice — similar to Trump’s recent nuclear threats against Iran — but when did Kissinger secretly meet with the Chinese and then negotiate? It was when China built the atomic bomb,” the article continues.
“Nuclear deterrence means that you can reach a balance of power against America and Israel, who possess atomic bombs — not so that war does not happen, but so that the scope of conflict remains controllable,” it goes on.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Washington and Tehran earlier this month, Iran agreed to allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to regain access to its nuclear sites after oversight was suspended last year.
It also pledged it would not develop a nuclear weapon.
The US has called on Iran to pause all nuclear enrichment for 20 years.
It comes after the head of the IAEA called for his inspectors to be given full access to Iran’s nuclear sites to monitor the program.
“The government of Iran has affirmed quite clearly that [developing nuclear weapons] is not their intention, but of course, intentions are not enough,” IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi told reporters on Friday.
“In order to have certainty, we need to have a very strong system of verification as soon as practicable,” he added.
Iran agreed to allow IAEA inspectors to return in September, but it has not yet granted access to the nuclear sites that were bombed by President Trump in 2025.
The country’s stores of enriched uranium remain unaccounted for.
Iranian politicians have also defended what they call the country’s right to defend itself, backing up the calls by state media.
“Iran’s military capabilities ensure the Iranian people’s inherent right to legitimate self-defence in the face of aggression and crimes, while at the same time guaranteeing peace and stability in the region,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said in a statement on X on Friday, later attacking the country’s Gulf neighbors.
Baghaei accused the Gulf nations of “engaging in aggression against their Muslim neighbor,” and “remaining silent regarding the Israeli nuclear arsenal,” in his statement.

Yes, most certainly, Iran must have the bomb – at least according to the international, multinational, transnational globalists who got so rich and powerful with low-cost Chinese “goods” replacing our own, and leaving us to produce the Western “bads” in the from of weapons, virtual realities, psyops, and porn. How else are these globalists to ensure their “fair share” of oil and gas to fulfill their massive Asian development plans? But the contradiction is that the top people in control of things on one had want their global control plans to succeed with the deconstruction of national sovereignties and yet at the same time to expand Israeli interests to superpower status, controlling the entire Levant.
It would be nice to think that their recommendations that Iran put on big-boy pants and join the nuclear club of superpowers, was really based on protecting Iranian national sovereignty rights. Unfortunately, these people do not believe in borders at all, nor do they buy into the idea of “Thou shalt not kill and steal”. They just want to preserve and advance their own non-national and pro-Israel interests even if it means more nuclear bomb proliferation.
On the other side of the non-national equation, you have the USrael-first types who are equally demonic and who think they have a right to anything they can take based on the principle of might-makes-right, meaning military power, while sucking Iran into producing a crude nuke – one too heavy to deliver by way of a supersonic missile all the way to Wall Street or the London Square Mile, or even one to hit Tel Aviv. Then once they have the confirmation that Iran has developed “the bomb” – what you will have is the carpet bombing and invasion of Iran to fragment and destroy the nation – for its resources, and for complete control of the Levant, and West Asia, making Israel and USrael, KSOTI (king shit of turd island).
Then at the top of these two non-national and hyper-nation arms you have the money-power hydra head which essentially wants Iran out of the way such that the Sino-Muslim alliance does not get too strong and selfish and interfere with their global-control plans.
Since both the USrael arm of the more multipolar order and the globalist arm of the more unipolar order really could care less for the fate of Iran and its people, on would think that Iran had best keep to the highroad and avoid all of the users and their traps. Before having any nukes of its own, it ought to see if their are any powers such as Russia, China, India or Pakistan who will just give them nukes for their defence, and fully back them, by sending troops into their nation without trying to take over the place for their own interests. However, because that is not likely to happen, it is hard to see how nukes will improve their situation. Their best bet may be to maintain their appeals to the world community of nations based on the UN conventions as well as to maintain in complete control of the Straight of Hormuz, despite the threat of USrael and the hypocrisy of the globalists.
