It makes logical and moral sense according to the rules of a just war of self defense for Iran now to have nukes when they complied for decades with all of pressures not to have them in order to save their insecure peace against the USraeli and Western plunderers. However, that is not how the aggressors will characterize it if in fact they have recently developed such weapons, or a nation such as Pakistan has armed them (which is doubtful). However, if so, the USraelis will say, “See, I told you so. They were developing those nukes all along. We were justified in self-defense in starting the war, and now in self-defence we must preempt a nuclear attack on us by dropping a few nukes on them.”. They would think this and say this knowing they were unable to conquer Iran in a conventional way, and think that dropping nukes on Iran would “win” the war, worrying about Iran trying to prove they already had nukes later. In any case, with or without nukes USrael wants the war to carry on.
On the other hand the Iranians likely would not want nukes, or to reveal they had them – unless they also were able to demonstrate their capability of hitting major Israeli and American targets with them, and even Wall Street, NYC. That kind of threat of an escalation would be a reason not Pakistan or Russia to give them nukes. However, from a globalist point of view, and maybe even a Ritter point of view, it would be good theatre in creating a DEFCON 1 scenario for the alleged “necessity” of world government.
However again, if the US powers were actually looking for an “off ramp” and Iran announced a new policy of self-defence based on their necessity of now having to acquire nukes as a deterrence, then that may be what they are up to. Then again if Iran actually announced such a new defense policy, it likely would be more fodder for the USraeli warmongers actually wearing the very soiled US pants in this mess, to continue with a long and bloody war against Iran while Israel takes more and more land in the Levant. So, who do you really trust? Those who are actually running USrael, or those in Iran? I don’t mean “trust” from the point of view of the best strategy to advance USrael or Iranian interests, but rather “trust” as to who is really telling the “truth” and exposing what is really going on.
