Communism is alive and well in 21st century America.
Its tenets are unfettered immigration and unending leftist ideology, i.e., hate speech laws, gun control, race-mixing (the browning of America), eradication of the family, BLM, pornography, censorship of all opposing opinion, intense hatred of Christianity, intense hatred of White people because they represent European Christianity of the past, White genocide, legalized abortion, feminism, trannyism, homosexuality, fake vaccines, fake news, fake Christians, fake elections, fake pandemics, fake space aliens (a new one), and unconditional support for Israel.
Those are the tenets of communism today, just as they were during the height of the Cold War. Nothing has changed.
Knowing that these are the tenets of 21st century American communism, your default position must be opposition to every one of them. In some cases, this will require immediate action on your part: pulling your kids from school, purging yourself of pornography, tossing your television and never attending another movie or professional sporting event for the rest of your life.
They have to come up with communist scares because capitalism is leaving more Americans with no jobs, no income, no home and no affordable regular food. They just get higher stock prices and rich people with oodles more money. These unfortunate Americans can and will start to ask themselves what it would be like to have a job, even a boring one, with pay that won’t make them rich but it’s regular, and a home with affordable food in the fridge. With none of those tax-dodging rich people telling poor people how to be poor.
When enough people make the comparisons and see realise even most third world citizens have a better quality of life than they do, then they’re going to push for something different. Many will turn to fascism but that way lies war with Russia, so for many a look at socialism will appeal to them. Real socialism, not what those phony political and media fraudsters claim is socialism.
Many pro-capitalists will change their minds queueing for soup.

Sorry, MM, but America became the greatest, freest country in the world and expanded its prosperity to include all classes, especially the middle class, with two hundred years of a capitalist economy. That economy is failing now because of corruption that weakens it and major destructive govt policies like endless wars and welfare for immigrants that drain away the wealth those of us who still have jobs create.
Every time communism is tried, it turns to a slave and master state where everybody is equally poor except the elite. Countries like Vietnam and China wouldn’t have given it up it up and become capitalist if it actually delivered on its claims.
