Donald Trump claimed on Saturday that a peace deal with Iran “has been largely negotiated”, after calls with a Pakistani mediator, Gulf allies and Israel, potentially paving the way for an end to the war launched by the US and Israel in February.
Trump wrote on his social media platform that “final aspects and details” of a “memorandum of understanding” were still being discussed and “will be announced shortly”, but said the strait of Hormuz would be opened as part of the deal.
“An agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries,” Trump posted.
However, Iran’s Fars news agency, which is close to the powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that the strait of Hormuz would remain under Iranian control, a red line for the US. The news agency reported on Telegram that “the management of the Strait, determining the route, time, method of passage, and issuing permits will continue to be the monopoly and discretion of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

Trump’s optimism over a proposed agreement with Iran is meaningless without Israel’s participation and they appear to think that they were sidelined in the negotiations.

However, it now appears that President Trump wants to get out of the conflict with Iran. Does this mean that he is about to leave Israel to face Iran alone?

Israel Believes Iran Is Misleading U.S., Nuclear Agreement Unlikely, Sources Say

Top Israeli security establishment officials believe the Iranian leadership is misleading the U.S. negotiating team, Israeli sources told Haaretz. Israeli officials are concerned that U.S. President Donald Trump will pursue a limited interim agreement with Iran that would allow the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for lifting some sanctions on Iran, while postponing the issue of Iran’s nuclear program to a later stage.
If such an agreement is reached, Israel is concerned that the United States will struggle to press the nuclear issue later on, and that fighting would be hard to resume under an incomplete deal.
Two Israeli security sources told The New York Times that the Trump administration had completely sidelined Israel from the negotiations with Iran.
According to the sources, Israel was not involved at all in the talks preceding the cease-fire between the countries: Israel was left in the dark and learned about developments in the negotiations between Washington and Tehran through diplomatic channels with regional leaders and through intelligence from within the Iranian regime.
Israel’s exclusion from the negotiations may suggest that the United States is no longer insisting that the issue of ballistic missiles be included in the agreement, according to The Times.
Netanyahu had previously insisted that the goal of military campaigns in Iran was to “remove” the existential threats of an Iranian nuclear weapon, including its ballistic missile arsenal.
Senior officials believe that Trump would prefer to advance a diplomatic agreement with Iran rather than resume fighting.
These sources believe that the chances that Washington and Tehran will reach an agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program are low. At the core of the dispute is Washington’s push to remove Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile from the hands of the Islamic regime, the establishment of a monitoring mechanism that will prevent future enrichment, and the formulation of an arrangement that will curb its armament with ballistic missiles.
According to one source, military and political officials are interested in returning to fighting, rather than a cease-fire, in an effort to exert military pressure on Iran in order to yield to concessions. Jerusalem expects Trump and U.S. negotiators to stand by their statements and not back down from a “meaningful solution” that would ensure Iran will not be capable of building nuclear weapons in the short term.
On Saturday, Trump told CBS News that U.S. and Iranian negotiators are “getting a lot closer” to a cease-fire deal, threatening that if an agreement is not reached, “we’re going to have a situation where no country will ever be hit as hard as they’re about to be hit.”
Trump told CBS, “I will only sign a deal where we get everything we want.” According to Trump, the agreement would also result in Iran’s enriched uranium being “satisfactorily handled,” a statement that does not fully align with Iranian reports on the nuclear issue.

Iran is claiming its sovereignty, one of the last countries on Earth to do that, good for them. A sovereign national state is exactly what the JWO needs to destroy in order to create the one world government it desires. But Iran has two strategic disadvantages, it can’t attack U.S. main land, and it is passive in the conflict, it has no initiative.
Iran could hit the U.S. in a token gesture but militarily that would be meaningless. Moreover it is unwise to hit the U.S. because that would be the perfect excuse for the Jew to mobilize America for war, to draft American White asses to the meat grinder. Unless the US military removes Trump his lies in every sentence will continue. He wants to turn the actualité on its head. We all know the losers in a war cannot dictate the terms but Trump can never admit he lost. All he can do is fudge the failure. To do that he makes demands he knows the other side won’t accept–they won!–then say they won’t accept the terms to stop the war and chose to fight on. It is he who won’t accept the winner’s terms so he’s forced to continue with this charade until he is stopped somehow, and if Iran won’t target him then his own side must remove him.
