What a roller coaster day this has been.
At approximately 7 p.m., one hour before Donald Trump’s 8 p.m. EST deadline for Iran to capitulate to his demands, it looks like Trump may have agreed to the bulk of Iran’s demands.
But this is only a ceasefire. Nothing permanent has been agreed to. But if the final deal is anything similar to what Trump has agreed to temporarily, then Iran is going to be much more powerful than it was before this war started.
One of the 10 points Iran demanded and apparently has been granted, is that Iran will no longer be threatened with anymore aggression from the U.S., which would mean the U.S. abandons all or most of its bases in the Middle East.
Iran also will be given control over the Strait of Hormuz, as long as it keeps it open.
Iran will be allowed to continue enriching its uranium.
All economic sanctions will be lifted against Iran.
All UN security council resolutions against Iran will be rescinded.
Payments for everything destroyed in Iran over the last 38 days will have to come from somewhere, apparently the United States.

President Trump said Iran sent the U.S. a 10-point peace plan that is a “workable basis on which to negotiate.” A day earlier, Iran rejected a 15-point proposal offered by American negotiators and Trump had earlier rejected Iran’s 10-point plan.
“Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated,” Trump wrote in his post to Truth Social.
This does not sound like a win for Trump. But if that’s how Trump wants to spin it, then I’m good with that. I am just glad we are not going to nuclear war over a country in the Middle East that never presented an existential threat to the United States. At least not now.
On the other hand, I do not believe this ceasefire deal will hold permanently, precisely because it sounds too weighted in favor of Iran. I believe Trump will use this ceasefire to rearm and reorganize to fight another day.
Israel has also reportedly agreed to the ceasefire, but I cannot imagine the Israelis will ever agree to this deal as currently framed with all of Iran’s 10 points.
There is also the possibility that we wake up tomorrow or the next day and find out the deal is completely off and Trump is landing troops on Iranian soil. Nothing is guaranteed in the current insane environment.
But the immediate crisis appears to have been averted and I can’t help but think our prayers had something to do with that. Prayers and perhaps calls flooding into Congressional offices from thousands of very upset Americans.
Another point of pressure on Trump, and this may have been the biggest one, was the Gulf state Sunni Muslim countries allied with America. The UAE and particularly the Saudis, have invested heavily in Trump’s Operation Stargate AI data centers being built across America, which will form the basis for the coming global control grid. The Saudis likely threatened to pull that money if Trump didn’t back off of his threats to annihilate Iran’s civilian infrastructure, because Iran vowed to strike back at similar targets in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and possibly Qatar.
In the end, Trump had threatened more than he could deliver, the Iranians called his bluff, and came out the big winners. Trump will spin a narrative that makes it sound like he is the winner and the world’s best dealmaker, but the facts, at least in the interim, speak otherwise.

Whatever Iran has done in this war, it is self-defensive, as well as defensive of the people who are unable to protect themselves from the joint US-Israeli aggression, usurpations, ethnic cleansings, and genocides.
Unfortunately with the 10 peace conditions, Iran has backed off of its earlier demands to end “the cancerous state of Israel” for the sake of the oppressed Palestinian people, and those in other territories. The closest they have come that actual “moral high ground” to end the Israeli crimes against humanity expansionism (which is the real basis for global support of ordinary people for the Iranian cause), is the vague condition calling to “End to attacks on Iran and its allies,…” (including conflicts involving proxy groups such as Hezbollah).
Of course the US-Israeli Zio empire have no intention to enter into any peace deal which will leave Iran in any position to influence or interfere with their own plans for the entire region. They will not give up their goal of conquering Iran to grab its resources, make it another “failed nation”, and to ensure Israeli expansionism, together with all of its horrific crimes against humanity.
When the pragmatists and the military take over, then the moral justifications for anything are quickly lost in the shuffle, and if it begins to look like a no-win situation for ether side with a place like China holding the real trump card, needing the oil but at the same time threatening to annex Taiwan, the US weapon of threatening China by closings its markets to them, begins to wane a little. However, Iran is in a worse position as China and Russia will only go so far in their support, which means China will, in particular (already in bed with Israel), is only interested in Iranian oil, and ultimately does not care about human rights violations, nor about who really owns the oil, but only if there are assurances from the most established owner or power they can get it at market value.
Iran, at least in my view, will likely be left alone to fight the largest military power on earth. Only if they can control over a long duration China’s oil supply can they rely on any real help from that nation.
No one is in favor of a world war, but what does that matter to Israel, except for some bad press, or to Iran fighting for its very existence.
The problem is that there is no moral high ground with any authority such that the actual international laws could take effect. The laws are there but we are now living in a world where, except for a few, the concepts of what is “moral” or “amoral”, or even “evil”, have lost their meaning and authority. Not only are we living in an age of “moral relativism”, brainwashed into the masses for the past 3 or 4 generations, but the common sense of “right and wrong” along with the weight and meaning of terms such as truth, freedom, responsibility, justice, and trust have virtually disappeared. They used to be weighty concepts to temper, or limit, self interest and the use of power, and to govern our concepts, norms, morals, and laws regarding right and wrong – as once did our religious beliefs in the laws of God.
Truthers are arising everywhere, but only from a deep sense of universal right and wrong not yet extinguished by the ruling class in which wealth and power are their only guides and authorities. Our hope has been that Iran would be able to garner more support for its resistance from the growing resistance against these evil ruling powers in our own nations, and not essentially from totalitarian nations such as Russia and China which are only really interested in their own hegemonic powers. Not only are Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, and Iranians in the way of the US/Israeli bulldozing hegemon for the entire area, but we also in our own nations are rapidly losing all of our basic rights and freedoms, and increasingly being subjected to dishonest, criminal, and totalitarian regimes and plans coming from the same ruling class.
With Gaza, and all of the atrocities of Israel, the support of the US, together with the inaction of the rest of the world, except for Iran, the conclusion is that no one has any real basic rights unless they are armed to the teeth, and no nation has any real security from the designs of any powerful foreign power unless it is also armed to the teeth, and has enough WMD’s in its arsenal to defend itself by inflicting more harm on the aggressor than the aggressor can gain by its usurpations.
Without restrains laws based on a higher power, neither Israel or the US now can give in to a powerful Iran in the region. The US fears it will further lose its grip on the region and with respect to the rest of the world, and Israel will either have to become a DEI nation or DIE. With the ruling class in control of those nations, it does not matter which team the US trots out – a “globalists” regime like that of Biden, or the Zio-me-first one of Trump – the result will be to continue with the goal to conquer Iran. It is the same with Israel and the ruthless arch criminal Netanyahu regime appointed to carve out the Greater Israel Project.
The people of our nations have no power because they have been divided based on their most fundamental concepts of what really constitutes what is right and wrong. All of the other so-called “abstract” concepts such as truth, honesty, free-will, responsibility, justice, fairness, trust, which at one time enabled them to make moral judgements for themselves and their nations, apart from just serving their own interests, have been washed away from the minds of the masses. The ruling powers will never listen to our arguments or reasons, and if we want to protect ourselves and our vital interests, we also will have to fight them with everything we have.
