Former CIA Director John Brennan (pictured above) has sharply criticized US President Donald Trump, stating that he is more inclined to believe the Islamic Republic of Iran than he is to believe Trump regarding the status of negotiations.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Brennan did not hold back in his assessment of Trump’s recent claims about diplomatic progress with Tehran.
“Well, I tend to believe Iran more than I do Donald Trump because he could not acknowledge the truth even when it is slapped in the face with it repeatedly,” Brennan said.
Brennan characterized Trump’s current posture as desperate, stating that the US president is attempting to reshape the narrative around a policy situation he described as a self-inflicted failure.
“It’s clear that he is flailing right now,” Brennan said. “He’s trying to figure out how he’s going to get out of this debacle that he has created.”
The remarks come amid Trump’s ongoing war of terrorism on Iran for Israel. Brennan slammed Trump for making unfounded assertions about Tehran’s willingness to capitulate to American demands.
“He’s going to make these claims about negotiations—that the Iranians now are sending signals that they really want to make a deal—and indicates that is going to make a deal on our terms,” Brennan said.
He dismissed Trump’s characterizations entirely, adding: “I don’t think anything close to the truth in that statement.”
Trump said on March 24 that he was considering holding talks with Iran to end the ongoing US-Israeli terrorist war which many believe has put him in a very precarious position.
That comes as he has repeatedly claimed victory since launching the joint aggression with Israel against Iran on February 28.
Also, in recent days, the American side has courted some regional countries to persuade Iran to cease its retaliatory strikes that have decimated American and Israeli military infrastructure in the region, as well as to allow American vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
A senior political-security official told Press TV on Wednesday that Iran responded negatively to an American proposal aimed at ending the ongoing imposed war, insisting that it will only occur on Tehran’s own terms and timeline.
The official said Iran will not allow Trump to dictate the timing of the war’s end.

With the US and Israel unable to easily eliminate Iran without millions of causalities and leaving another huge wasteland of death and huma misery in their wake, the entire Muslim world will awake and that we can only hope will be the end of Israel and US power. On the good side of things, Trump and his despicable Zio doner class have now inadvertently shown the rest of the world that virtually any nation can easily throw out the controls of the Rothschild money power, the globalist & corporate nation destroyers, and the US military bases threatening them, and all it takes are cheap and easily-manufactured weapons, together with a unified national determination coming from the people.
The Zog-run US and Israel intend this war to carry on even it means starting a WWIII and the nations of the world whose people want freedom and self determination can now only unite and give the war back to them.
With more and more footage of what the Israelis have done in Gaza leaving some two million people living like rats in rubble, with no sewage or infrastructure, in unimaginable filth, disease, all in the overpowering reek of human shit and rotting dead bodies buried in the ruins, the insane Israelis have gone on to do the same thing in Lebanon and Iran. All this, and this apartheid, racist, Nazi, grasping, genocidal nation of Israel is the ally of the US? The American people have no say regarding all of their unjust wars? Regardless of their inaction and indifference, they will be held as most accountable because without their military backing none of the Israeli atrocities would have occurred, and war with Iran would not have even started.
Destroying Iran and its people will likely top all war crimes and genocide in human history, and the American people think they do not have a duty to stop the Zio insanity right now? The Israeli and American people offer no real resistance to them, but they will only end up more impoverished, split, deconstructed, demoralized, and holding all of the blame. Better that they now remove that same ruling class from their midst, than tens of millions of people perish and their own nations either being destroyed in the process, or else every American and Jew seen as a wretched, murdering pariah everywhere they go.
None of these globalist, neocon, and Zio bastards which have started this war, and all of the wars going on right now, and who also gave us Covid, can see past their visions of a technocratic and totalitarian so-called “New World Order”, and the Greater Israel Project. With their undying plans of reconstruction to “build back better” while destroying resisting nation states and deconstructing all of the compliant and controlled ones, they are systematically destroying the human spirt of freedom and self determination, as well as the last remnants of human conscience and justice. Not one of them will bring any attention to those facts, and they know bloody well that they will have to use the exact same methods of top-down mass deception, terror, and oppression to control everyone they have subjugated in order for their dystopian world to survive.
Other than the Iranians, the American people are the only people who can turn things around and kick the bums out of their capitals and their miliary. The governments in Russia, China, and India are as corrupt as our Western ones, with their people much more shackled, and they cannot be trusted for anything.

Anger as Sadiq Khan gives the racist Notting Hill Carnival £4.6m that could have kept police stations open
Story by Elizabeth Haigh • 1h •The London Mayor faced fury today for granting Notting Hill Carnival an extra £4.66million which critics say could have kept police stations open across the capital.
Sir Sadiq Khan gave the annual event, which is celebrating its 60th birthday this year, the extra funds to deal with overcrowding.
Matthew Phillips, chief executive of festival organisers Carnival Village Trust, said this year’s event ‘could not have gone ahead safely’ without the grant. He added that the Metropolitan Police ‘said that they can’t continue in the way that they were as crime is endemic to the event ”
At last year’s event on the streets of West London, 528 people were arrested, two people were stabbed and 55 police officers were assaulted.
Outside the event on the periphery the total is much higher
In 2024, 334 people were arrested and eight people stabbed, leaving one person dead. A second person died in hospital after being punched in a separate attack. Susan Hall, the leader of the City Hall Conservatives, said the money is ‘a blank cheque’ for the racist street festival and should have been spent elsewhere.
Each year huge numbers of petitions go in to number 10 to stop the event.

She said: ‘This money could have saved the two police counters in Kensington and Chelsea from closure, along with others across London, but instead will be given as a blank cheque to Notting Hill Carnival.’Structural reform is necessary to prevent a mass crushing event at Notting Hill and this money is not that.
