The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has successfully intercepted a third Israeli fighter jet, an F-16, in the skies over central Iran.
In a statement on Saturday, the IRGC Public Relations department announced that the invading fighter jet was targeted at 3:45 AM local time, noting that their modern air defense systems were responsible for the interception.
According to the statement, over 200 hostile aircraft—including drones, cruise missiles, and advanced enemy fighters— have been targeted and destroyed, demonstrating the IRGC’s enhanced capabilities in monitoring and countering threats in Iranian airspace.
The interception of the Israeli F-16 reflects Iran’s assertions of its growing military prowess and readiness to defend its airspace against foreign incursions.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military acknowledged that one of their fighter jets was targeted by a surface-to-air missile fired from Iranian defense systems.
In a statement, the Israeli military said the aircraft had departed from bases located in occupied territories with a mission to conduct airstrikes in Iran, specifically targeting areas around Tehran.
It further claimed the pilots managed to survive the incident.
The United Staes and Israel started a fresh round of aerial aggression on Iran on February 28, some eight months after they carried out unprovoked attacks on the country.
Iran has responded by launching barrages of missile and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on US bases in regional countries.

Men are leaving themselves at risk of painful penis infections by neglecting a simple bathroom habit, experts warn.
The alert comes after a wave of viral videos debating whether men should use toilet paper after urinating.
In one clip, viewed more than 3.3 million times on Instagram, men’s lifestyle creator Chris Petrone urged followers to ‘dab the tip after weeing’ after reacting to videos of shocked women who had ‘just found out men don’t wipe’.
The trend is not an outlier. More than a third of men admit they never wipe after urinating, according to YouGov polling.
As well as being unhygienic and causing odour, doctors say skipping the step can increase the risk of infections.
For circumcised men, once the protective skin is removed, they are vulnerable to infection.

Professor Christopher Bunker, a consultant dermatologist specialising in male genital dermatology, said: 'The best advice for men when urinating is to pass urine with the foreskin fully retracted, empty the bladder, then gently squeeze the penis a few times to expel any remaining urine.

Men's health specialists warn that residual urine can create a warm, damp environment under the foreskin, allowing bacteria and yeast to thrive. Men are leaving themselves at risk of painful infections, the homosexual craze of drinking the partners is not to be encouraged.
