Norway’s former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland was hospitalized a week ago after a failed suicide attempt, days after he was charged with “gross corruption” after a police probe into his ties with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, local outlet iNyheter reports.
Jagland, 75, who gave Barack Obama a Nobel peace price less than nine months into his presidency, was charged on February 12 after police carried out an extensive search of his properties – including apartments in Oslo and in Risør.

According to the report, Norway’s Økokrim – which investigates economic and environmental crimes – took the serious step of sending a letter to the Council of Europe requesting that Jagland’s immunity be lifted. It was revoked one day before the raids took place. In the letter, Økokrim says that Jagland and his immediate family used Epstein’s private apartments in Paris and New York multiple times between 2011 and 2018, and stayed at Epstein’s villa in Palm Beach, Florida – with travel being likely covered by Epstein in connection with one of the stays.
Epstein also reportedly paid for travel and hotel costs for Jagland and five other adults in the Caribbean, and reportedly asked Epstein for a loan, though it’s unclear whether that was actually made.
If convicted, and he doesn’t successfully kill himself, Jagland faces up to a decade in prison if convicted.
In one 2018 email exchange, Epstein wrote to Jagland suggesting that “I think you might suggest to Putin, that Lavrov, can get insight on talking to me.”
Jagland served as Norway’s Prime Minister from 1996 to 1997, and held other prominent international roles – including Secretary General of the Council of Europe (2009-2019) and chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Thus you have the Norwegian elite on parade in a faux purge or clean up: Royal Family under a cloud (sound like Britain?) He may well be taken care of yet if it appears he could talk… All this is a sham and a show trial with no consequences for the perpetrators in the end. Lawyers will obstruct, make procedural points, drag it all out for fees so it will be memory holed and as in Britain, all released on bail WHY? Espionage cases are in secret with no question of bail but there a kangaroo judge will pass sentence according to the needs of the system pronto.
Meanwhile next door in Sweden and Finland, their ruling sect who were very friendly with Clinton and Obama, Bush too of course, made damn sure the countries were annexed by NATO in short measure with no question of any referendums-always promised never allowed. Their rulers will most certainly have had close encounters of an Ep.Stein sort. However, despite their fig leaf of social democracy in Sweden and technocracy in Finland (remember Nokia the star, sunk by its own arrogance, hubris and American sabotage, but hey!) the reality is different. Both have very docile captive medias with no tradition of investigation, only promotion of cliches . So we won’t be hearing anything from there at least. Mind you, they’re on the frontline with Russia so that makes them untouchable, they’re also suffering massively economically from the insane self harm of sanctions imposed on Russia and the effects of mass importation of cultural enrichment by their EU masters. This despite having ‘far right’ parties in the government, collaborators all.
Sweden’s former PM Olof Palme was murdered in the street in 1986, the Swedish police and security services were never able to find out (or were unwilling ) who did this and why. Many felt that a foreign power was behind it, with a message of menace: conform or die. Palme a ‘leftist’ fancied Palestine.

That it wasn’t really a murder but staged to let Palme live out his last weeks or months somewhere else in Europe. It is asumed he livbed out his life in one of his mistress Emma Rothschild’s castles somewhere in central Europe. I remember he looked very thin at the end just like Freddie Mercury did. Another name that pops up in the case is Michael Townley. What makes his name intersting is that he was rumoured to have been in Dallas 1963 as well. Will we ever find out what really went down?
