Blasts light up the skyline in Tel Aviv as Iranian missiles hit home.
Press TV – Feb 11, 2026
Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities are a “red line” that will never be placed on the negotiating table, a high-ranking Iranian defense official has said.
Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, who serves as the secretary of Iran’s Defense Council, a subsidiary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), made the remarks on the sidelines of the February 11 Islamic Revolution anniversary rallies.
The statement comes as Washington continues to push for an expansion of ongoing nuclear talks to include Tehran’s missile development. Shamkhani’s comments were a direct response to renewed calls from the administration of President Donald Trump for missile restrictions.
While Iran has expressed willingness to discuss its nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief, it has consistently decoupled its defensive missile program from those negotiations.
Shamkhani said Washington’s “habit” of combining threats with diplomacy was a tired tactic used to give “credibility” to its negotiation stance, but Tehran remains unmoved by that posture.
‘Limited attack’ means full-scale war
Rear Admiral Shamkhani said any military provocation, regardless of its scale, would be met with a total response.
Shamkhani warned the United States against a “limited strike” on Iranian interests, saying the Iranian Armed Forces have clearly signaled through both official statements and field displays of power that any aggression would be viewed as the start of an all-out war.
“A military conflict in a region with such a level of sensitivity and density of interests cannot be restricted to a specific geography or just two parties,” Shamkhani warned.
Due to the region’s vital energy infrastructure, he said, any conflict would have “global consequences” affecting lives far beyond West Asia.
Shamkhani said the only logical path forward for the West is to pursue “serious dialogue” and abandon “theatrical and propaganda behaviors” that are only meant to destabilize the region further.
The remarks come amid a visit to Washington by the Israeli regime’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu is expected to meet with Trump to push for a tougher US stance, specifically demanding that any future deal include strict limitations on Tehran’s ballistic arsenal.
On the eve of the White House meeting, President Trump signaled he was considering sending a second naval “armada” to West Asia to increase pressure on Iran.
On February 8, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated that Iran’s missile program has “never been, and never will be,” part of the agenda in the nuclear talks.

When the shooting starts where will Netanyahoo go? To Mar – A – Lago? My guess is that the shooting won’t start until he’s safely settled in there.

Meloni gives powers to block migrants with navy
Story by Our Foreign Staff Italy’s government has proposed using a “naval blockade” to block migrant boats from reaching its shores.
The bill to tighten migration rules, agreed by Giorgia Meloni’s ministers on Wednesday, provides for a temporary ban “on crossing the limit of territorial waters in cases of serious threat to public order or national security”, according to the document.
Such a threat could include “exceptional migratory pressure that could compromise the secure management of borders”, a “concrete risk” of terrorist acts or infiltration in Italy, global health emergencies and high-level international events.
Italy’s new migration package – which also includes stricter surveillance at borders and cooperation with European agencies – comes a day after the approval of the new EU pact on migration and asylum, why cant we do this ?

Migrant workers are sending billions of pounds to their home countries, research shows. Pakistan and India are the top two destinations for cross border fund transfers, according to analysis carried out by money transfer platform TopMoneyCompare. The total sum transferred in 2025 was £33.1billion, the figures show.
The number crunching shows Pakistan received £4.24billion in remittances from UK based migrant earners last year, just above India’s £4.17bn. In total, more than £8.4bn was sent to these two countries. This may in part be due to Pakistan and India being two of the cheapest destinations in the world to send remittances to. Kenya is the most dependent on remittances from the UK, with 27% of its inflows from Britain, the analysis shows. The number crunching shows Pakistan received £4.24billion in remittances from UK based migrant earners last year, just above India’s £4.17bn. Epstein conspiracy theorists are re-watching Eyes Wide Shut. This is why
Story by Ollie Macnaughton Moments after Dr Bill Harford (Tom Cruise) witnesses a surreal display of masked orgies at a party in Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece Eyes Wide Shut, the mysterious Victor Ziegler (Sydney Pollack) tells him: “Those were not just some ordinary people. If I told you their names… no, I’m not going to tell you their names… but if I did, I don’t think you’d sleep so well at night For most viewers, it is an innocuous line that adds to the film’s unsettling tone. But for a small yet vocal group of conspiracy theorists, Kubrick was trying to warn the world about a depraved elite underbelly. And following the US Justice Department’s release of three million pages from the Epstein files, naming powerful figures including Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump, those theories are growing louder.
For most viewers, it is an innocuous line that adds to the film’s unsettling tone. But for a small yet vocal group of conspiracy theorists, Kubrick was trying to warn the world about a depraved elite underbelly. And following the US Justice Department’s release of three million pages from the Epstein files, naming powerful figures including Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, Harvey Weinstein Les Wexner and Donald Trump, those theories are growing louder.
“Eyes Wide Shut is a documentary. The elites are a bunch of depraved, murderous psychopaths,” reads one post on X. Some claim there are hidden Satanic pentagrams in the background (the film makes no explicit reference to Satan). One particularly bizarre suggestion implies that two extras walking behind lead actress Nicole Kidman in one scene are “shadowy depictions of Epstein and Ghislaine [Maxwell]”. Another video, which has more than 500,000 likes on Instagram, bears the caption: “The fact the director died four days after releasing this film doesn’t sit right with me.”
In reality, Kubrick died of a heart attack in March 1999, aged 70, four months before Eyes Wide Shut was released in the US.
The film focuses on the couple Bill Harford (Cruise) and Alice (Kidman) – who were married in real life at the time. After getting stoned, Alice reveals she once considered sacrificing their marriage for an affair with a naval officer. Frustrated and unsettled, Bill wanders the streets of New York, trying to make sense of sex, fidelity and power within marriage. He is then invited by an old college friend to a mysterious costume party outside the city, where he witnesses ritualistic orgies attended by masked participants.
Most of the supposed connections between convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and Eyes Wide Shut are purely referential. In the Epstein files themselves, the film is mentioned around a dozen times, largely in supplementary articles. The most explicit reference appears in a 2016 email exchange between Epstein and an individual whose name has been redacted. “I am trying to find high-end Eyes Wide Shut parties – do you know any?” the person writes. Epstein never replied.

US news anchor Katie Couric, who visited Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion for a party in December 2010, once described the evening as “Eyes Wide Shut with a twist”. She did not elaborate on the similarities, but recalled “creepy chandeliers and body-part art” inside the house. She also said that when their coats were taken by several women, her boyfriend at the time remarked on how young they all looked.
The party was attended by a number of celebrities, including Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, comedian Chelsea Handler and TV anchor George Stephanopoulos. Coincidentally, Woody Allen – a friend of Epstein’s who was also present – had reportedly once been considered to star in an earlier, more comedic version of Eyes Wide Shut that Kubrick was planning in the 1970s.
Kubrick’s collaborators have been quick to dismiss the film’s conspiracy theories. “I don’t think Stanley gave a flying f–k about warning the world about anything,” Frederic Raphael, the film’s co-screenwriter, told Vulture last year. In the same article, Jan Harlan, Kubrick’s producing partner and brother-in-law, said: “I can assure you that all of these speculations are total nonsense.”

Yet some theorists claim that 24 minutes of explicit footage were cut from the film. They have latched on to a 2024 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, in which Roger Avary, the Oscar-winning co-screenwriter of Pulp Fiction, suggested the film was “recut and changed” after Kubrick’s death. He said he had read an alternative version of the script featuring a third-person voiceover and a final scene in which Bill and Alice’s daughter is “given away to the pedo cult”.
The film never explicitly suggests that the secret society involves anyone underage. Avary also claimed he had heard second-hand that Kubrick had shouted at studio executives shortly before his death: “It’s my movie, you can’t cut it.”
But all reports suggest that the film released was Kubrick’s final cut, with a version shown to Cruise, Kidman and a handful of Warner Bros executives just days before the director’s death. Cruise reportedly said that anyone who attempted to alter the cut would have to answer to him. According to Harlan, the orgy sequences were toned down using CGI to meet a contractual obligation with Warner Bros for the film to receive an R rating.
A supposed earlier script does exist online, but it does not significantly expand on the sex-cult element of the story. If anything, the final version is more explicit than anything contained in that draft.

What’s more, rather than drawing on real-life events, the film was based on the 1926 novella Dream Story by Arthur Schnitzler. Aside from the setting and a few minor changes, Eyes Wide Shut is a faithful adaptation of Schnitzler’s work.
Kubrick, however, is no stranger to overblown interpretations of his films. An entire documentary, Room 237, focuses on the sane and the outlandish theories surrounding his 1980 horror classic The Shining, including claims that it serves as a metaphor for the Holocaust or the cultural assimilation of Native Americans. Most notably, after the release of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), his name began circulating in conspiracy theories suggesting he was involved in staging the moon landing.
So why Kubrick? Unlike many Hollywood film-makers, he lived outside the US and cultivated a reputation as a recluse, adding to his mystique. To some, he appeared an outsider who made highly commercial films entirely on his own terms. That image of a detail-obsessed auteur fed the notion that he was a kind of prophet. The shrouded secrecy of the production – which ran to a record 400 days of shooting – also contributed to the strange hold Eyes Wide Shut retains over viewers.
As the film’s title suggests, its storyline blurs the boundary between reality and dream. Perhaps conspiracy theorists read too much into Dr Harford’s words in the final scene: “No dream is ever just a dream.”

Professional migrant beggar’ groups face steep fines in West London crackdown
Story by Ben Lynch •
Groups of professional beggars and people using face coverings to hide their identity risk being fined in a West London borough as the local authority cracks down on anti-social behaviour (ASB). Hammersmith and Fulham Council has introduced a new Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) covering the entirety of the borough, which officials claim will “reduce incidents of ASB that cause harassment, alarm and distress.” PSPOs are implemented by local authorities to address problems typically affecting a particular area. They enable the council and police to issue a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) of £100 to people caught engaging in prohibited behaviour, reduced to £60 if paid within 10 days. The PSPO, which was recently approved by Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion and Community Safety Cllr Rebecca Harvey, details new actions to be restricted for a period of three years. The PSPO, which was recently approved by Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion and Community Safety Cllr Rebecca Harvey, details new actions to be restricted for a period of three years.
These are: professional and aggressive and/or persistent begging, gathering in groups of two or more “for the purposes of engaging in anti-social behaviour”, and wearing a face mask to conceal an identity. The last restriction will not be enforced against anyone wearing a covering due to their religion, faith or cultural beliefs, nor those with a health reason or when it is required by, as it was during Covid.
On professional migrant begging, a council paper notes that beggars who “arrive in groups are often professional beggars and beg as a source of income as opposed to genuine poverty”. The paper continues: “Evidence of professional begging includes groups of beggars arriving and departing at the same time, refusing offers of support, suggestions that they are unable to speak and/or understand English, and those engaged in criminality may present their name and address details on a piece of paper when asked for information by enforcement officers.”
The proposal to introduce a new PSPO addressing ASB was first presented to the council’s Cabinet last September. A consultation held from September 12 to October 24 drew 644 responses, the vast majority of whom backed the proposals in the draft on begging with threats
